My favourite ever ring, for the reasons already listed. Lots of ways to customise, a decent size and the space for weapons. I was so psyched when I got for my birthday back in '01!

I used to work in Smyths Toys for a number of years in the warehouse/delivery bay. Any new stock that came in I would open up the case, remove what I wanted and put to one side to purchase at a later date.
The managers knew and had no issues with it, with a loose rule on how quickly I bought them. Like if the figures were still in the back after a few weeks it was "Buy them today or put them out."
But this was back in 2012-2013 where supply wasn't as big a deal as it seems to be now. It was a rarity to find only one of a certain wrestler per case and even if that did happen, we usually got about 6-8 cases of a new series in anyway, with more cases in a few days later.
I do remember a few figures being a bit limited, like CM Punk's first short haired Elite, or the Edge and Christian flashbacks, in their Attitude Era attires, Shawn Michaels in his Badd Blood 97 attire. But there was still enough of these that a few weeks would go by and there was still at least a couple on display.

That Unleashed series was brilliant, the Vampiro figure especially was an awesome figure. A little on the small side but it still matched up well with the others I thought.

Yes that thing, did it come with anyone else? Ringside Rivals Series 1 Bradshaw vs. Test 2-Pack I had no idea this Bradshaw/Test two pack existed! I'd have snapped that up right away as a kid!

TTL bodies are kind of junk and the pre-scan heads were not as good as BCA, in fact most were hot garbage. But real scan was the first major innovation made in wrestling toys that hadn't been matched in my opinion until the new TrueFX paint. Once the real scan was introduced the TTLs really stepped up. I remember 2000 in to 2001 just being a constant stream of awesome figures. The Heat and No Way Out lines were fantastic.

RA is more playable than Mattel basics, especially now that they have those pointless knees that are super stiff to move. Also, Jakks understood to have the stance a little apart at the feet. The joints seemed to move smoother on RA. Hey, but I do like both. I never liked the legs being too close together on RA's, or Mattel Basics. Made certain moves hard to do. Piledrivers, for example.

I'm not a fan of the RA figures. TTL is where is was at. The figures they put out in 2000 are still incredible. In my opinion a perfect mix of likeness and playability.

I never realized that Manley Toys made wrestling figures because the only place that I found Manley Toys was at Big Lots and they also made dolls for girls and one of the dolls that Manley Toys made was a fashion doll named Robin and she was the size of the WWE Superstars Dolls and Barbie and Robin could also wear Barbie clothes and there was even a line of Robin clothes that could also fit Barbie and the WWE Superstars Dolls as well as Robin. I do believe that Manley renamed itself ToyQuest and you can still find ToyQuest toys in specialty shops. But I wonder if Manley Toys made other wrestling figures besides Friday Night Fighters? Doctorwhofan They're basically repaints of the "Wrestling Federation" bootlegs. The "Wrestling Federation" bootlegs started out as bootlegs of OSFTM ECW figures like Rhino, Taz, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer, Lance Storm, New Jack, Jerry Lynn, ... . Later the "Wrestling Federation" bootlegs also featured bootlegs of Bret Hart, HBK, Kane, Dude Love as well as generic heads and new accessories like chestplates and masks. Apparently Manley Toys repainted and repackaged them as "Friday Nite Slam" or the less inspirational "Wrestling Action Figure". Back in the day these bootlegs were mostly interesting for their accessories: tables, chairs, ladders, guardrails, crutches, but also: chainsaws, chains, dogs, ... Manley Toys is a Chinese company founded in 1977 and still existed in 2018. I used to love the Wrestling Federation figures. Man, they were crap but had a certain charm.

Hands down the E32 Rey Mysterio flashback. Rey had a ton of colorful attires during his WCW years. So of course Mattel goes with red/black/white for his only flashback. I'm hoping we get more fb Reys beyond the Halloween Havoc figure now that he re-signed. But that figure is such a head-scratcher for me. A shame as the figure itself was great. The parts used, scale, etc. Just would have been so much better in blue and yellow.

Is this just in the US? I'd be happy to see TRU back in the UK.

Not even close on a worldwide scale, and for me personally, 2003, 2007 and 2008 were way worse.

That's like late era jakks style detailing. The lack of green and the few extra bits here and there really takes away from the look.

We first saw an outline of hbk and it looked awful and 99.9% of the basics still are. The elite legends i first purchased at double the cost of a jakks figure. Most of the early leg joints popped off. I probably have 500 or more elites now but i still wish mattel never got the licence. The prices are ridiculous still and anyone who doesnt realize its all crap compared to even tna figs from 10 or 15 years ago doesnt know much at all I don't understand this logic at all. You clearly don't like the figures much, yet you've spent thousands on them.

Be cool with a taka figure if we ever got one. Taka Michinoku vs Brian Christopher Battle pack with the LHW Title.

I stopped collecting mattels a couple years ago due to money and lack of interest in the current WWE product, but I've kept up with the line on here out of curiosity and it has slowly been going downhill in a variety of ways. From distribution to quality control, to cost cutting.
No company is innocent of this. Damn, the quality of Jakks figures slipped substantially in the last few years.

Man, I miss the early-to-mid 2000's era of custom figures. The quality of the customs these day may be better, but back then there was such an art form and community to it. I used to check out Razors Edge customs back in the day. His site is still up and accessible but not functioning properly. He did some great customs and fix ups, especially on early TTL figures.
