Those limited edition Pepsi Perfect Back to the Future things were pretty hard to get and limited upon release. I do believe both screech and I got our hands on them for like $22.50 and scalped them like wolves.

Tickle Me Elmo from the late 90s …..I remember trying to find this for a friend’s daughter & never seeing it anywhere on the shelves even in toy stores….an even more vivid memory is of everyone literally fighting over it…..wild Yep, beat me to it. I think Furby were pretty hard to find at one point. I remember having to drive 45-60 minutes to a Target outside of Chicago limits in order to find decent TTL figures when the lines would update. Our stores simply didn't have anything new in stock ever. We'd drive to a "Target Greatland" (Which is what they were calling their superstores back then) and look for figures. I still remember finding that Steve Blackman TTL and going bonkers, because I couldn't find anything at my stores. It was a treat to get to go to that store and any stores that were outside about a 10-20 mile radius from where we lived. I don't know why our Toys 'R Us and KB Toys were always so understocked and behind on the releases. Another one I remember from my childhood was the Rugrat Game on PS1. Rugrats were really popular on Nickelodeon at the time, and I was trying to get the game for my brother and I. I finally found it at a Blockbuster to rent and then later that day found a KB Toys selling it, so we picked it up, but it took about 3 weeks. I can't believe that one was so hard to get. Certain Nintendo amiibo are impossibly hard to get. Older ones, select releases, etc. It's really annoying and a shame, because there's a lot of cool figures that people will never be able to add to their collection. I've stopped worrying so much about pre-orders because it seems like stores are restocking after the release, but there are still past figures that will never get a rerelease and had a really short shelf-life. Mega Yarn Yoshi was one of those. Animal Crossing for Nintendo DS (not the 3DS one) was pretty hard to find when it came out. Everyone was buying 2 copies because it was co-compatible with the other DS and maybe even possibly online in some way, I forget. But the Gamestop we would go to didn't have them in for awhile, and then we found them at a different Gamestop anyway if I remember right. It took a couple of weeks for this. The Zelda: Majora's Mask 3DS was limited and really hard to get. Target cancelled my order and I never got one. Still bummed about that.

More yesterday, but I got this in the mail and thank god it completely works. Paid under $300 when I see them going for $450-$600 regularly.

I also admittedly really, really want the DLC for The Outer Worlds.... But I'm trying so hard to save up money. Last, but not least (and it's funny, because I play video games maybe one day a week in honesty--I don't get around to it much, even with a 3 day weekend... I'm more into multiplayer and my friends just don't play much anymore)... I bought this Zelda mod for N64. It's based off of the game that was going to be on the N64DD but never happened. I guess all you need is an expansion pak to run it, which I still have (thank you DK64). I'm gonna give it a whirl when it eventually comes in the mail...

Some other games I've been jumping in and out of... I have a soft-modded PS3 so I can access tons of rare games that go for over $300 on eBay now. I think it's fair pickings, given that scalping is out of control and retro gaming has gotten a big boost and spike in prices since the pandemic and stimulus payments went out.
Rule of Rose (PS2) Very controversial game, banned in a few countries. It's a survival horror game and you have a dog as your companion. I have uploaded the intro to my youtube because of how impressed I was with the graphics for a PS2 game...it also gives you an idea of what the game is like:
Haunting Ground (PS2) Ahh, another game like Rule of Rose, this time developed by Capcom. You are alone in a Mansion, running and hiding to survive, with a dog by your side as your lone companion. This game is known as a spiritual successor to Clocktower 3, and goes for upwards $300 in a box now. It was something I used to rent from Blockbuster at one point... Great game if you're a fan of a game like Clocktower 3. It's not like the old Clocktower games, which were more click and point, but plays homage to Clocktower 3--just without the same in-game effects.
Speaking of...
Clocktower 3 (PS2) I beat this game when I was younger, and absolutely loved it. I had a copy and don't know what happened to it, but got it on my PS3 now. It's still fun, though a little less extreme (the graphic nature of the game initially really shocked me when I first saw it; now it's child's play). Still... the game has some extremely gory parts, murder scenes of a young child, etc. It's a good game in the end and plays very well. Also a Capcom title. The last official Clocktower game barring it's name to come out. Here's to hoping Haunting Ground gets a successor some day, or we see a Clocktower 4 in full effect.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein (Xbox Classic) I used to play this multiplayer on XBL all of the freaking time. It was our go-to game. It brought a ton of hilarity into my life, especially back when you could use the voice changers on XBL. Anyway, I never focused as much on the campaign, as it wasn't co-op online--only offline. And then my copy of the game stopped loading on any console I'd try it on--it just green screened. I installed it to my RGH Xbox 360 and the same thing happened--green screen at the intro. I wound up downloading it (since I own this one anyway) and low and behold, it worked, voila! I plan to play through some of this over the weekend. The single player is supposed to be really good. I've heard it's one of the better Wolfenstein games to come out in the newer age of consoles (have one of the Xbox One games but I've never touched it).
007 Goldeneye XBLA Remake (Xbox Classic) I've gotten a copy of the XBLA remake of Goldeneye, and also gotten a ton of mods for it. I still play it online once in awhile. There's a group on discord that plays and I try to check in now and then to see if there's a game going on. We modded some single player maps into the multiplayer setting, i.e. the Train: I like playing this online, but the group I play/ed with seems to be dwindling. It was pretty exciting when it first launched and I got my RGH Xbox, but now I use the RGH for other things more than Bond...

New Vegas + the DLC is so much better. It just is. I disagree, it’s a very good game, but I think Fallout 3 is the best game ever. Man, I've put 200 hours into Fallout: New Vegas. I guess I really need to play Fallout 3 and play out the DLC. I don't think I've ever really gone through it. Perhaps I'll do that this weekend. Question though. What level do you have to be at (approximately) for the DLC, and what order do you recommend playing it in? I have it all, but I haven't touched Fallout 3 in ages. I completed all the DLC and different endings on New Vegas, so I've had my share with that game admittedly. Fallout 3 blew my mind when it came out and then I stopped playing it for something else. I have beaten it numerous times since, but I always have found New Vegas to be a bit better. It's probably a top-5 game for me when I boil it down (Ocarina of Time, Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, Resident Evil 3, New Vegas/Oblivion)... I would be curious about the DLC on Fallout 3. I think the only one I ever even started was Point Lookout(?).

Wow, it's crazy, but I forgot all about the Heat winning titles.
The diversity in this list is terrible. Until the Mavs and a few others broke through, the same 7 or 8 teams had won the championship dating back 40-50 years or something insane.

In all seriousness though, thank you so much. Helping animals is something more people need to take the time to do. It's a saint's work.
I do Covid-19 work every day and know I'm helping people, but even if it sounds weird, I'd rather be working with animals at a shelter or something. I would be happier with myself and my life.

I finally got my hands on a copy of Manhunt 2 on PC. I've actually got Manhunt 2 on my PS3.... I "soft-modded" my PS3, and now it can play PS2 games (my system was only backwards compatible for 1 until I modded it). I own Manhunt 2 for the Wii, but the PS2 version I've obtained is uncensored. I also have Manhunt 1 which I officially bought from the PS3 store. I've been playing a lot of retro games--original Xbox, PS2, PS1 even. I found The Predator for Xbox OG and I got a patch that uncensored everything. For fans of Manhunt, The Predator is another super violent, ultra gritty game that was ahead of its time. If you can find it and patch it to view all of the kills, even better. I would describe the game as a mix between Manhunt and early May Payne. That would really be the only way I can put it. With specialty kills. It's pretty brutal, but a good time. The last 3 games I've beat and thoroughly enjoyed: Prey (2018 version--it was a spiritual successor to System Shock 2)... it has DLC I want to check out some day. The Outer Worlds (again, has DLC I want to check out, but I haven't gotten around to it) Silent Hill 1 (beat it when younger, but I got the A+ finish and ending this time around) I have The Village and do want to start on it soon.

Started Fallout 3 again for the first time in idk how long. It didn’t age as bad as I expected. New Vegas + the DLC is so much better. It just is.

Welcome back barnxbee. You had to top this, why? And then you wonder why you’re banned…d’oy Out of all the accounts through the summer, Brother Brother actually isn’t me. I’m guessing he’s part of the actual figure boards since he made a Hogan figure reference in another post. Glad he likes my cat though. Well, it did get extremely ing stupid and annoying. Pretending to be Muslim, dude? Really? No shame.
