SYE, I remember! Holy crap. I seriously barely remember my phone number on days like today, but I feel like right around one of the times I took a long hiatus from logging in or viewing the board, you were the mod at the time. Do you remember what year that would have been? Jesus, I know it was high school, so either 2002 or 2003. I think I had a good enough reputation 'cause I was a holdover from Matt Pearson's Action Figure Resource. I used to do a lot of stupid names like "SYE: Band I Like That's Really Bad Name Here" lmfaooo. I know once it was Bowling For Soup god Do you remember a user by the name of Tre? He went by Tre... at AFR, nerdy Green Day/AFI fan... then he got big into hardcore. He was on here for a bit... I was pretty good friends with him, but I think he found a girl finally and it opened up his life sort of. He's one of those "Disappeared" members.

Well, it must suck to be deleted! Schwwwwwing. I love it how they troll like crazy, I warn them and they still do it acting like they are king of the forum or something. Then when they get banned/deleted or what not they cry the blues and it is not their fault, they did not do anything wrong, they were banned for asking someone to be their best friend. Unreal. That's why I finally reported him.... heeeey, that gives me an idea. What if you make ol' saint Nick global mod admin, for old times sake?

Another one that came to mind... For me, the weakest part of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World was Michael Cera in the titular role. I feel like Cera is Hollywood's go-to when they need to typecast a "hapless nerd" character, which is fine I guess if all you got out of Scott Pilgrim was "hapless nerd". Early on, Scott is wrought with misplaced confidence and bravado that earns him the ire of those around him (who aren't blinded by his charm), none of which are characteristics Michael Cera has ever conveyed in the history of ever. Agreed. Movie had some potential, he bogged it down below a point of it being enjoyable. The whole thing was kind of corny from the start... but the typical typecast role he plays the same way in every movie is what brought the movie down.

I'm still technically right. 25% warning for still being a pain in the ass after I already gave in. We don't see screech being a pain in the ass now do we? Screech is a good lad.

Who was The Fiend’s first feud with when he debuted? I would have had that person attack him pretty violently, maybe with a pipe or chair, and write him off from there. It might come off as strange to have a babyface do something like that, but you could’ve done it as a form of revenge for something Wyatt had done to him a few weeks prior.

I made my original account way way back in like 2003 or whenever, it was a while before this one. I forgot my password (this was back in the day when you had to remember passwords)and the email I used was an AOL one and I didn’t have AOL anymore haha, otherwise my account would be even older. Yeah, this isn't my original account. I had a day one account post-AFR but something happened along the way.

Also, I'm going to be dead-honest right now...
When I go out to eat--and I live in Chicago, and there are a lot of different spots to hit--the people who generally make the most noise are adults. Business people talking shop, people who have already had a couple of drinks before we arrived to eat, etc. I rarely find kids making noise in restaurants, although I don't eat out very often anymore. Where I will hear kids are places like ice cream shops (Baskin Robbins, Dairy Queen, Cold Stone, etc.) and I generally take my stuff and leave when it comes to those spots.
I really notice groups of adults (4+ usually) making the most noise in public.
What I will say is annoying is when you go to a sporting event, and you're sitting behind a group that's clearly there from work. They talk shop the entire game and it's just maddening. I can't count the amount of times I've been at Wrigley Field (or even Comiskey/Us Cellular) and sat behind a big work group that just talks about their job the entire game. That is 100x more annoying to me than kids being noisy.
Also highly annoying to me at sporting events, which is complete contrast to this post... When I talk about the game with the people next to me or people I came with, and the people in front of me tell me to be quiet... and this is at a HOCKEY game. It's like...excuse me? We're in a stadium with roaring fans and PA and video systems everywhere making noise, and you're telling ME to be quiet? The fack is that about...step off, lady. Only time I've ever gotten really pissed off with someone at a sporting even...told her to put some goddamn earplugs in if she didn't want to hear me. Old hag. If I can't discuss the game while it goes on... I mean, seriously--what does she expect it to be, a library? C'mon... that junk pissed me off a LOT.

Could be the kid is autistic, or has additional needs or whatever, could also be crap parenting. I don't think the shirty comment on the way out did anything for anyone, you're night out had been ruined already and the party with the kid probably wasn't having a ball either. If it bothered you that much then asking to move tables would have been more productive. For what it's worth, I've been at family outings (such as wakes even) and one family has a boy with some severe autistic traits. He would go under tables while people ate, eat off the floor and take scrapes from plates, yell & scream, etc.... a ton of other outlandish things. Sometimes you need to be a little fragile when it comes to these situations, because you never really know what is the cause of the issue. It could be more than just a noisy child...
