Guys! I FINALLY found the MNW Figures at my local Walmart. After months and months of searching one of my Walmarts finally got them!! Oh... I'm never gonna get these in figures.

I think you guys are forgetting that Bill had said last year that the upcoming year (2023 thru 2024) will see a lot of Hulk Hogan because it's the anniversary of Hulkamania. There are legends waves dedicated to his feuds.
This won't continue beyond and we'll start getting occasional Hogan figures again.
That being said, where tf is my '02 Undisputed Champion Hogan with a proper face sculpt. An Ultimate, if you will.

I'm so upset that the jacket is black man...
Great photos though. You did good capturing the figure.

Amazing showing this weekend! You guys are doing the greatest work -- Mattel rules!
A question about Walmart and distro of the MNW line as well as exclusives.
I used to work at Walmart, specifically in the toy dept. It was a curse for my wallet as a collector. When I did work for Walmart, we would usually get the shippers as well as occasional shipments of Elite figures. Exclusives tended to arrive once and that was it. My friends who still work there often will tell me it's still the same except they never once got the MNW figures outside of the WrestleMania PDQ Shipper that arrived. The pegs on the planogram that are reserved for MNW figures are often just filled with regulate Elite series because the MNW figures never arrive.
I'm not sure what else can be done but looking for these figures in store has become trying. I've wanted Commish HBK since the first BAF offering and feel like I probably won't have a shot at getting this one as well.
While I'm assuming the answer is probably "can't really answer it" and I respect that because business is none of our business, are there any considerations being made for collectors if it seems like my experience with Walmart remains the bigger experience that others share? that is to say, will other avenues be sought for MNW figures if Walmart does not pick up distro like it seemed like they would? Again, I know it's tricky but I'm looking for something to give me optimism that I may be able to collect this line

I cannot fathom what the ing decision making that went behind making basics of the RR2010 gear and Bret gear, but making his first Elite in nearly a decade a look from an unaired house show where he is wearing plain black gear because he didn't haven't any. Because now people will buy a Main Event figure because it's an updated iconic attire and people will buy CM Punk in plain black gear because it's his first Elite in over a decade. They'll buy it because of the merit and the historical fact, it'll be the first Elite Punk you can buy in a long time...gear didn't matter. If that figure was a Main Event figure, people would say "Well, I'll wait for his Elite."

Monday Night War Line - In general, this line still kind of sucks. Today's reveals were a tiny bit better but still so much waste of space. Like a Bossman they have made twice before. Two Austin's in street gear. Repaints of Harlem Heat, Pretty much a repaint of HHH, a generic Rey Mysterio etc. Just so many figures in that line that are repaints, re-releases or not in ring attire. Then I feel like I have to get a bunch of figures I don't want to get the BAF's. It's honestly one of my least favorite sublines they have ever done in terms of anticipation vs. delivery. The Ultimates in this line have been nice though My issue with the Monday Night War Line is genuinely just that even when there are really stellar figures in the line (That DDP, the Commish HBK) you'll never find them because Walmart is so awful with distro.

Commissioner Michaels better not be BAF again man...
This would be the second time it's a BAF for a Walmart exclusive line that is incredibly hard to find

Do we NEED a vault? With Mattel I get it...the line has been going for 15 years.
Jazwares has been making figures for...four? I'd rather see Jazwares focus on the current lines they have. Improve the headscans, focus on quality control. Stop inventing MORE series. Jeremy has always been bold and inventive and that drives his success but we genuinely need quality over quantity, not another series.
With a figure line less than five years old, let's focus on going forward. Get your current series of figures out to consumers. Increase your quality.

On one hand I do really like knowing that figures I have hold "Value."
There are figures I have that I know sell for a lot because of rarity, I'd probably never part with them though. I bought them because I like collecting.
But the value aside, there are figures I just want in my collection.
If they released this Kane in a normal Elite line without the "From the Vault" title, no one would consider it a re-release but rather a retooling, probably.

So did we have a date for when preorders go up? I'd rather not miss out on this like I did Logan and Cody.

Pulled these off the teaser video. Not sure why they have Rocky Maivia Concept art, but I guess we will find out. Just quoting so it's on another page. CM Punk coming is great. I'm sure it'll be like Cody where it's the older head with updated paint apps. I feel like we're gonna get a remake of E16, the MITB attire. It's a classic look. But that is such a popular attire...I'm torn. I feel they'd keep that in mainline also. Either way I'm ready for it!

For some reason...part of me thinks that this exclusive is NOT The Outsiders and we're gonna get them after. I don't know why but the screws on the edge of the graphic they posted makes me think that's important. They're usually pretty intentional with their advertising.
But then I'm trying to think what the relevance could be. They also don't say what it is. There is no specification that it is in fact a figure. It literally just says Mattel exclusive.
Could we get a stage?

I genuinely have to ask why Bret has never ever had a good headsculpt. Not as an attack but I'm sure they must know when they put these out that they are not winners. I've seen people on eBay create "high quality head sculpts for figures" of Bret Hart and I know mass produced is different but like...I just do NOT understand what the issue has been with Bret all of these years.

The Ultimate Flair, Retrofest Flair both cover the looks I really wanted. I threw the old TNANWA Belt on the Ultimate one and I'm happy.
The only one I could have used was a 2002-2003 Flair. I'm thinking like, chubbier with slick back thinning hair and the RAW World Tag Team title and an Evolution T-Shirt or something. Or a suit Ric Flair with aviators. Just those two but I'm fine with what we have. It isn't like with Sting where there are 10 different looks that we could have had...

I think an UnDashing Cody Rhodes would be a sick ringside exclusive.
But the first mainline Ultimate Cody Rhodes needs to be modern day

I hope that Mattel sees the success of Attitude Era figures and does more of that. Ken Shamrock, D'Lo, Kama all seemed to do pretty okay in the Legends line. I also would love to see some ECW talent, Panini had a couple of surprising names as cards so I wonder if they're figure eligible. I'd love to see some of the following:
Attitude Era Legends Elites of Test, Albert, Gangrel, Hardcore Holly, Crash, Al Snow, William Regal, The Headbangers ECW Era Legends Elites of Hollywood Nova, The Blue Meanie, Big Stevie Cool, Sandman
I want to see Ultimates of The Dudley Boyz and The Brothers of Destruction (2001 Kane and Undertaker)
I'd also like to see an Ultimate of the Hulk Still Rules 2002 Hogan.
A modern Elite Paul Heyman figure, seeing that the three pack one is sought after.
A Commissioner Shawn Michaels because the build-a-figure wasn't able to be found
Summerslam 2002 Shawn Michaels X-Factor X-Pac
Ultimate Cody Rhodes

It was relatively difficult to find but I found it. This is one of those cases where I wish WFigs would amend their rules for linking to other stores. I feel like if a figure can only be obtained at Target or Walmart, it should be fair game to post a link.

I honestly would have rather that they kept the tights black so it was closer to the RA5 version of the figure, which I quite liked.
