Not a big deal, but are the PT figures bow-legged? They all look like they just jumped off a horse. hahah glad I'm not the only one. Like fair enough if PT wants to go 8" scale or whatever, I personally feel they are leaving money on the table with that decision. The bow legs are one thing, it's the tiny hands that keep popping off and the tiny feet that really grinds me. I was so disappointed because I really wanted a Brody, until I got him and realized he was 12' tall - thankfully zombie's Brody fills that need in my collection - different line, but at least it looks better.

Thanks @Chair.Shot for the comparison pic. I don't collect Mattel Retros because their proportions are too big for my preference and Mean Gene shows it. If you don't mind that sort thing it could easily be fudged on the shelf for sure. Todd is very decent for what it is, he's not going to be doing any moonsualts.

Look I'm not going to tell you I'm a big fan of Todd Pettingill. But Mr. Pettingzoo fills that much needed ring announcer slot for my retro fed. And to be fair, this is the first fully suited/tuxedoed? figure I have from Zombie and it's pretty damn good in-person - no Gilbert Godfrey worries. All the necessary arm/elbow articulation is there for a guy with a mic and the sculpt and paint are great. Looking forward to brother Slick.

like seriously, it's the one thing we all want to confirm. The molds look the same, but who knows - their Ultra's line scales larger than Mattel's so you can't really trust that these Remco's are exactly the same as Superstars...ugh just show a size comparison - doesn't anyone who works at PowerTown own a Superstars figure?

just ordered Magnum and Tully 2-pack you can't go wrong with that.
But without any comparison pics with Superstars or reviews, we can't be sure. Yes all the parts look the same, but I don't know about scale yet...So taking a chance.

Love seeing the Rock N Roll Express, but disappointed they didn't truly capture Robert Gibson's wonky eye

PJ to be fair I don't see that much similarity to the Galoobs, but I do agree that there's far more realism in the face sculpts, however like your side-by-side with Bret and Dynamite shows us, their poses, and size/girth seem to fit right in with the 'bros.

happy for punk fans. Don't need modern/active wrestlers in retro-style for me, so easy pass and saves my wallet

maybe it's Gargano in-hand and ready to ship? He did show some finished pieces a few days ago. It's going to be a OMG-type-deal.

Any guesses as to what ZST is teasing for the 7th of February? Hopefully it’s an in-stock item with immediate shipping and not a signing, a preorder, an idea, a render, a prototype, a shipping update on an overdue product. haha love it! Hopefully it's a pre-order date for the Road Warriors! most likely it's an announcement for the next wave - Slick, Tunny, and Power & Glory

forget the figures, where is that cage from? ? Hey guys, just confirming what @Chair.Shot shared - it is indeed the blue cage that comes with the recent legends basic ring in-stock at Target for $39.99 USD I also had the wrecollect 3D printed cage and yes besides the flat bars, it was too flimsy for play the T-connectors broke just looking at them. This Mattel cage is very playable and durable. I only have the Mattel retro ring and if you take off the tables and stairs, the cage fits perfectly around. You can keep the tables and chairs connected and the cage will just sit on them. I love it because when I'm done I can just fold the cage up - all I did was use two connectors for each side, didn't bother with the post connectors. I'd recommend this for your 'bros or retros to get that classic feel!

lol that is surprising! What kind of fixtures are you using then because it’s this nice even lighting that looks soft and natural. The colors really pop with it so perhaps it is a mixture of the materials? Also what kind of camera/lens are you working with if you don’t mind me asking? I have a ton of space in my home but only use my office/toy room to do any photography and it’s pretty atrocious lighting in there. The outside light is often a hindrance, the single lighting fixture is 12 feet up and looks like trash/is no help. The best luck I have is in the walk in closet where things are a bit warmer and more controlled. I’ve been considering doing a more permanent setup in there but it would mean removing some of my more permanent displays. haha thanks man, I don't know - regular pot lights - I can't say for sure, but I agree, the evenness and softness can't be beat - I just accidentally stumbled onto this when I was dissatisfied with how my Hasbros looked on the table under my photography lights. Also nothing special with the camera - an old DSLR Canon Rebel Ti7 with a macro lens.

I really enjoy your lighting setup. Care to share what all you are using? bro I kid you not. For my Mythic Legions and Joes I have the works - soft box, lume cubes, ulanzi lights, goose necks, you name it. For these retro wrestling figures? It's on the countertop of my basement kitchenet area....I don't believe it myself, but the lighting feels way more natural for them than when I bring them into my "studio" haha it's weird, I don't know if the size or plastic quality has something to do with it. So in a nutshell, no lighting what-so-ever in this space, just basement pot lights.
