Really good show especially for an IYH event. The main event was great, and I think the feud with Bret did a lot of good for Bulldog. I like the direction you seem to be going with Diesel and his new attitude. I hope Undertaker can now move on to bigger and better things after finishing his fued with Mabel. The Goldust segment did kind of confuse me a bit. Are he and Backlund alligned, or did Backlund just attack Vega to set up a feud with them? It appeared that you are setting up for a Razor/Goldust feud, but the Santa segment threw me for a loop. Good show, though, and Ive enjoyed reading the diary thus far.

Good buidlup for WM9 here. The heat was really amped up in the HBK/Tatanka feud. Im surprised we only had 3 matches though and no real main eventers on the card.

I have been sensing a permanent break up of Team Rhodes Scholars, so this is how I would book it.
Cody wins the MITB Sandow turns on him out of jealousy, making Rhodes a face Sandow convinces Rhodes to put the case up for grabs in a match in which Rhodes loses and Sandow takes the MITB and eventually cashes it in.
I think Sandow is ready to be elevated to the upper midcard/soon to be main event level, and losing the MITB case would add some feul to Rhodes face turn because people would sympathize with him losing the MITB case.

The Road Warriors are another case of timing. To me, they are WWF guys because my first exposure to them was as the Legion of Doom in the early 90s.
IMO, there is no way an argument can be made that Hogan is a "WCW guy" and not a "WWF guy."

What a spin on 93! I wasnt a big fan of all the returns at SS 92, but I did like the way you built up the Hogan/Flair feud and having the feud come full circle at WM9. Im curious to see if Undertaker turns heel, as I dont think a face vs face main event would be realistic at this time period.

August 25, 1997 Commentators: Jim Ross and Dok HendrixDark Days Ahead?Raw kicks off with lights lowering in the arena and the Undertaker coming out to the ring and taking a mic.Taker: Fate can be a strange mistress. Not in my wildest visions, in my pursuit of the WWF Championship, would I have seen an enemy in the form of Cain becoming an ally. But they say that sometimes the enemy of my enemy is my friend. And it would seem that despite our past differences, Cain and I have become bonded together in light of a common goal, and that is the damnation of Shawn Michaels. So at SummerSlam, destiny aligned and so it was that the Phenom and the Big Red Monster stood together in victory. But all things must come to an end. And so in three weeks at Judgment Day, the WWF Championship lies in the balance. There comes a time when a line in the sand must be drawn, and Cain, make no mistake, that line will be drawn at Judgment Day. There will be no alliances on that night. Man to man, monster to monster, we will do battle for the ultimate prize. Rest assured I will do whatever is necessary to leave Judgment Day as the WWF Champion. (84%)Kliq Cut OffUndertaker is cut off by the music of the Kliq as all three members appear in the aisle.HBK: Deadman, you can talk all the tough talk you want. The fact of the matter is that it took both you and that demented dumbass Cain to beat me at SummerSlam. It was a conspiracy against the Heartbreak Kid from the beginning! You know it, I know it, everyone in this arena knows it! And to top it all off, I don’t even get a rematch for MY WWF Championship! That belt belongs to me, and if you think for one second that we are going to allow it to go anywhere else, you are mistaken. Nash: As a matter of fact Undertaker, you shouldn’t be looking ahead three weeks from now just yet. Tonight, you’ve gotta go through me! And I got news for ya Deadman, if it just so happens that after tonight you’re in no condition to compete at Judgment Day, that wouldn’t hurt our feelings one bit. See you later tonight, big man. (99%) Scott Hall gained overness from this segment. Project Omega defeated the New Age Outlaws and the Headbangers8-man tag team action here as a competitive match unfolded. As the tide seemed to be turning in Omega’s favor and the champs on the ropes, the Outlaws decided to take their title belts and bail on the match. This left the Headbangers in a 2 on 4 situation in which the ultimately fell in defeat to after an Implant DDT from Copeland to Most was followed up by a Swanton Bomb by Jeff Hardy for the win. (76%)Backstage MayhemWe cut to the backstage area and see Brian Pillman, who is standing by in the interview area awaiting his promo time. Suddenly, Steve Austin rushes into the picture, knocking over the camera man and ambushing Pillman! Austin and Pillman brawl in the area, knocking over light stands and monitors in the process. It’s complete mayhem in the back as officials try to pull these two apart again. The brawl continues to go on as we fade back into the arena. (87%)Challenge Accepted“France’s Greatest Exports” Douglas Furnas and Phillipe Lafon make their way out to ring to boos from the crowd as the French flag flies high above them.Furnas: As young men in France, training in the finest wrestling schools in the country, all we ever dreamed about was coming to the United States and competing against the best competition in the world here in the World Wrestling Federation. And not long ago, we achieved that dream! We have made it to the WWF! However, the grass is, how do you say, not always greener on the other side. Lafon: We have only been here for a short time, but already we have become very disappointed. We come here to wrestle the best! And yet we find no competition to match ourselves up against. The wrestlers in the WWF have been nothing less than a disappointment. So we are out here in an attempt to quench our thirst for competition. Furnas: We would like to issue an open challenge to any tag team that thinks they have what it takes to compete with the best that France has to offer- us! After a few moments, the monstrous team of Yokozuna and Fatu, the former tag team champions, lumbered down to the ring.Fatu: If you two are asking us for a fight, this is our response that you might understand. Yokozuna: Wi wi! After a brief stand-off, Lafon and Furnas extended their hands and shared a sportsmanlike shake with Yoko and Fatu. However, as Yoko and Fatu tried to leave the ring, Furnas and Lofon attacked them from behind! Yoko and Fatu absorbed their blows with ease, however, and the Frenchmen bailed quickly from the ring after realizing their attempt at a sneak attack had no effect and backtracked up the aisle. (72%) Doug Furnas gained overness from this segment.Shawn Michaels defeated Joe LegendMichaels looks to have been effectively told to “wait his turn” for the WWF Title, and put in the back of the line as we see HBK in action tonight against a relative unknown in Legend. Michaels dominated the match, making short work of Legend and ending the match with SCM without breaking much of a sweat. (73%)Chart TopperWe go to the interview area with Todd Pettengill.Todd: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett: The one and only Jeff Jarrett, Todd! The fastest rising star in the wrestling world. And the man who put the legendary Mr. Perfect out to pasture. But trust me, the hits are gonna keep on coming from Jeff Jarrett. You see, Mr. Perfect didn’t give me the respect that I deserved. I’ve been accused many times of having a bit of a southern temper, and that lack of respect that he showed me pissed me right off! And when I get pissed off, well, you see what happened to Mr. Perfect didn’t ya? I am on my way to the top of the WWF and the best advice I can give the WWF superstars is to get out of my way. (85%)“Wildman” Marc Mero w/Sable defeated Brian Christopher and Albert to become Intercontinental Championship #1 ContenderThe winner of this Triple Threat would receive an IC Title shot at the next pay-per-view. Albert appeared a favorite with his immense power advantage, but it was Mero who used his quickness and cunning to dispose of Albert to the floor before connecting with the Wild Thing on Christopher to secure the win and a shot at the IC title. (77%)Vader defeated Duke DroeseVader made quick work of Droese and finished him off with the Vader Bomb. As Vader gloated in the ring, Chris Benoit sprinted down the aisle and began to lace into Vader with chops to the chest! The strikes staggered the Mastodon and sent him stumbling through the ropes to the outside. Benoit has sent a message that he is not backing down from Vader following his attack last week. (78%)New Attitude for Ahmed We go to the interview area with Todd and Ahmed Johnson.Todd: I’m here with Ahmed Johnson, and the question on everyone’s mind this week has been what provoked your attack on your tag team partner, British Bulldog, last week on Raw? Ahmed: Its pretty simple, Todd. The Bulldog is selfish. His head wasn’t right for a few weeks, so I offered him my help. But what did he do? I rejected my help. Normally that wouldn’t bother me. But when his selfishness started to cost us matches, then we have a problem. It’s one thing to disrespect me, it’s another thing to mess with my money and mess with my career. So what I did last week was remind the Bulldog who exactly he’s been messing with! I tried to be the nice guy and it got me nowhere! So from now on, I’m looking out for one person and one person only, and that’s Ahmed Johnson. And I don’t care if the Bulldog doesn’t like it, if you don’t like, or if these fans don’t like it. Understand, I grew up on the streets. I’m used to being on my own, and it suits me just fine. You’re about to see the real Ahmed Johnson, and that means nothing but bad things for the rest of the WWF. Now get out of my way punk! (78%)The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer defeated Kevin Nash by DQAfter a decent back and forth match, it seemed Taker had built momentum and was signaling for the Tombstone when Hall and Michaels hit the ring and attacked Taker, causing the DQ. Undertaker tried to fight off the 3 on 1 attack, but the numbers were getting the best of him until fire exploded from the ring and out walked Cain! Cain entered the ring and attacked the Kliq members, giving Taker time to recover and soon the two phenoms had the upper hand. As they cleared the ring, Taker and Cain bumped into each other back to back. As both men turned around, Cain, perhaps on instinct, grabbed Taker by the throat! In self defense, Taker grabbed Cain by the throat as well! After a few moments of being locked up, both men released their grasp and shoved each other back. Cain and Taker had a brief stare down before turning their eyes to the Kliq who were backing up the aisle as Raw came to an end. (87%)

Im wanting to make a Los Guerreros tag team using the B29 Eddie figs. Obviously the torso is too big for Chavo, so Im wondering if the torsos on basics can be changed out, and if so, how? Would I follow the same tutorial for cracking elite torsos?

I think its obvious WWE has big plans for the Wyatts. Its rare that a Raw ends with a vignette hyping a person's/group's debut. I think there are big expectations and big pressure on the Wyatts to deliver.
How would you book them and against who? I know most people's first thought is a fued with the Shield, but I dont see a heel vs heel feud (at least not at this point). My first thought for a target for the Wyatts would be Dolph Ziggler. If the Wyatts are coming in as a "religious cult" type of gimmick, maybe they target Dolph for being so "of the world" (cocky, ladies man, etc). My only sticking points with this are Dolphs obvious current feud with Del Rio and that I think the Wyatts have to go over in their first feud, which would stunt Ziggler's face turn.
So who would you book the Wyatts against on their debut?

Rude- WWF Nash and Hall is a little hard for me. I grew up with the Diesel and Razor gimmicks (I really liked both) and then the nWo hit in my teens. I think nowadays, because of the popularity of the nWo and that we hear them referred to most often as Hall in Nash (even in WWE now in regards to Nash) I think of them as WCW guys when I hear the names Nash and Hall. Of course, if someone says Diesel or Razor, I think of WWF.
Ill put it this way: If there was a WCW Hall of Fame, Nash and Hall are in if you ask me. WWE Hall of Famers? Im not so sure.

I was going to mention Triple H turning on X-Pac at WM and Rock turning at Survivor Series because I never saw either coming. Hogan is obviously up there as well.
I thought Tatanka's turn on Lex Luger at SummerSlam 94 was well done, though it didnt lead to anything positive for Tatanka.

Yea, I think they tried a "slow burn" with Diesel by showing the heel attitude at SS, but then he kind of back tracks on his actions, faces Owen, appears to be trying to be a babyface, but then ultimately he shows his "true colors" by feuding with Taker and then turning fully on HBK.
I dont believe Bret's story that he was to put Diesel over at WM. Michaels was OBVIOUSLY the guy they were going with as the "next guy." Diesel was slated to go over Taker at WM and go one to fued with HBK for the summer, until he decided to go to WCW. So I think they had big plans for heel Diesel, and he prolly would have gotten another title run as a heel around SummerSlam time had he stuck around I think.

I read in the Main Event spoiler for tonight that The Shield lose a 6-Man Tag Match to Christian and the Usos. Im sure this is to help build the Usos/Rollins&Reigns match and probably a Ambrose/Christian feud, but it surprises me that they would have the Shield lose another 6-man tag after being built up for so long as unstoppable together. I understood the loss to Orton and Team Hell No, and it made for a big moment. But then they lose to these three? On Main Event no less? I have no problem with the members of Shield losing singles or even tag matches, but I liked the direction they had going of them being nearly unbeatable as a unit. It made any loss they have as a 6-man seem like much more of a big deal and give a bigger rub to their opponents. But this loss has me perplexed. Do you think the creative team has lost interest or direction with the Shield? Have they already run their course as a unit?

wasn't Goldberg always a face? he started in WCW as ambiguous, but was facing heel's like Hugh Morris and Meng at the beginning. B. Brisn Blair,to the best of my knowledge, was never a heel. Goldberg had an ill-fated heel turn at the end of WCW (he turned on the Millionaires Club)

Vader was a face in WWE from fall of 97 until he left. Bart Gunn was a heel as a member of the New Midnight Express. The Smoking Gunns had a run as heels as well when Sunny was their manager.
