So I finally got around to play this again. I've set it aside for the past few months but I'm hoping to get through WM and then continue in 17. Played through Fastlane today and here are the results.
WWE TV title match Cesaro vs. Tyson Kidd [c]
Last month at Royal Rumble Tyson Kidd returned from being out of action for over a year. He defeated Cesaro for the tv title. Now Cesaro got his rematch and came out victorious reclaiming the tv title.
Rusev def. Chris Jericho
New Day def. Golden Truth
Becky Lynch def. Paige winning the opportunity to face Charlotte for the Women's title at Wrestlemania
WWE Intercontinental title match Seth Rollins def. X-Pac Last year at Survivor series Seth Rollins defeated Triple H ending his career. Since then Rollins has bragged about that feat to everyone. A few of Triple H's friends have stepped up to Rollins including Kevin Nash, Billy Gunn, and now X-Pac. So far none have been successful.
Wyatt Family def. Sami Zayn, Neville, and Finn Balòr Last December Balòr locked away the demon after a loss caused him to attack Sami Zayn. Since then Bray Wyatt has been trying to bring the Demon back out. Balòr showed up once again without the demon and suffered another loss.
WWE Champion Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler def. RR winner Roman Reigns and Randy Orton
Next month at WM33 Daniel Bryan will take on Roman Reigns and Randy Orton will take on Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler proved he could pin Orton tonight, will he be able to do it again next month.

I brought this up in another thread too. I think it really started around the time of Daniel Bryan's rise, which is entirely WWE's fault. But with WWE finally giving in and giving Bryan the title its showed the fans that if they make enough noise they can steer the show. Now fans are allowed to boo and cheer whoever they want but WWE should be steer the ship. When the away team wins at a sporting event the fans don't stay and boo until the result is changed. Sometimes I this just does whatever he wants because he already knows there's no pleasing people. This is ridiculous. Blaming it on Daniel Bryan? I wouldn't expect anything else from Triple H, though. Fans of everything whine and cry and gripe about anything because of the internet. It's just an easy forum for the ignored, sad little people full of hateful rotten things to say. The WWE being tone deaf and stubborn and out of touch doesn't help, though. I don't think it's Daniel Bryan's fault at all, it's WWE's for denying the fans what they wanted to see. But once the WWE gave in, there are now fans that want to hijack every show. I love Danel Bryan and think he is one of the greatest ever, and I love the end of WM30. But fans want what they want when they want it and if after 2 weeks the story isn't going the way they expected/wanted they complain about it. This is purely my opinion but at the end of the day I think wrestling should be presented as a shoot and fans are spectators cheering and booing who they want, but not dictating the direction of story lines.

I've been trying to study this for a long time and I don't know if I have a good answer. I think there are a few reasons though.
The leading reason is too much television. When a regular tv show tells a story they get 30 to 60 minutes per week to tell their story. WWE tells 3 hours on Raw and 2 hours on Smackdown each week. That is just way too much. Why does it take 20 minutes to announce Stephanie gets Raw and Shane gets Smackdown. Hopefully the draft will help solve this. But I think there should be one brand exclusive ppv per month which gets about 8 weeks of build up. NXT is lucky enough to have one hour per week and not everyone gets on the show. That helps lead to less rematches and then fans appreciate seeing the big names more.
Another reason I think (which is going to be a very unpopular opinion) is the fan base. Fans today want instant gratification and want the answers before the seeds are planted. In a world where you can binge watch 13 hrs of Daredevil on netflix in 13 hours, fans don't want a story to begin in May that isn't concluded until November. So fans begin to turn on a storyline before it has a chance to fully be layer out. Also for the passed few years fans have started to dictate the show. I think it started with the rise of Daniel Bryan. I love Daniel Bryan, and the end of WM30 is one of the greatest moments in wrestling history, but that showed fans that they control the story and now they are steering the ship instead of the company. Idk if that is a problem per say or what but I think it should be the company's job to control the crowd and the past few years the crowd has controlled the company.
Also there are too many writers and everything is way too micro managed. If there must be 20 some writers I'd suggest dividing them up and assigning certain ones to certain superstars. You can't have 20 people with 20 different ideas going in 20 directions. Yes Vince has the final say, but there are still too many ideas floating around. Then they could work one on one with the wrestler and what ever writer their feuding wrestler is assigned to. Promos also can't be scripted word for work. Kevin Owens comes off very real in his promos, but Big Cass sounds like his script is right in front of him.
I don't know why, but sometimes it feels like kids tv shows have more competent story telling than the current WWE. I don't say that as a knock because I love WWE, but it just gets frustrating sometimes.
I think the current action in WWE is top notch and if they could just know the direction they were going, we could currently be in one of the greatest eras ever.
EDIT: Sorry I guess i'm not done ranting. I also feel like everything is too over produced. Look at the Wyatt New Day angle on Raw. It was video edited with like 20 camera cuts. Why not make it one camera trying to catch all the action. I despise the shaky cam every week on Raw but this is one case where it would have worked instead of a cut to a different camera angle every 2 second. Sometimes I feel like WWE just accepts that everyone is in on the joke that WWE isn't real and that strip away some of that legitimacy thus everything just feels like it's supposed to happen.
Rant over

This won't happen but I was hoping that Raw would be Jamie Noble who would be a total kiss ass to Steph and never get any appreciation. Meanwhile Smackdown could have joey Mercury who Shane treats like a bro and gets all sorts of perk. Then at ppvs they could bump into each other and Noble would always be jealous of Mercury.

Royal Rumble
Bo Dallas def. Fandango to qualify for the rumble match
WWE TV title match Cesaro def. Chris Jericho [c] to win the TV title
after the match, WWE GM William Regal comes out and announces that Cesaro will have to defend the title right now against a mystery opponent. Out comes Tyson Kidd who has not been seen in nearly 2 years since his neck injury. Kidd defeats Cesaro and becomes the new WWE TV champion.
Women's Rumble (Winner gets title shot at Wrestlemania 33) Emma vs. Eva Marie vs. Paige vs. Naomi vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya
There were a lot of interesting stories heading into this match. Becky Lynch just debuted on the roster at be beginning of January. Natalya showed up for the first time since losing her Women's title last fall. This is the first time the women's WM match would be decided this way. In the end Becky Lynch come out victorious and will go on to face Charlotte for the Women's title at WM.
Bray Wyatt def. Finn Balor
Last month Finn Balor and Sami Zayn lost their tag titles to Harper and Rowan. Following the match, Balor sucker punched Zayn. Balor later apologized to Zayn and said it was the demon the hit Zayn and claimed he locked the demon away. Wyatt says Balor is a fool for locking the demon away. He explains that everyone has a dark side, and you can't use 100% of your power unless you embrace it. Balor came out to the match with no body paint and Wyatt dominated most of the match and walked away with the victory.
WWE Championship match Daniel Bryan [c] def. IC champion Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins has been on a roll since retiring HHH last year at Survivor Series. In December he defeated HHH's pal Kevin Nash. The another one of HHH's buddies stepped up. WWE GM William Regal told Seth he could have a title match if he beat Regal in a one on one match. Seth won and was awarded the match. This struck a chord with WWE Champion Daniel Bryan too, as Regal was his mentor. Bryan dedicated this match to Regal and came out victorious.
WWE Royal Rumble match Roman Reigns def. 29 other men and is now heading to Wrestlemania. Reigns has been dominate since he turned on his "brother" Dean Ambrose last summer. He even defeated John Cena last month (by count out). Now he will go on to face Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at WM.
Notes
There are rumors circulating that Bryan has a severe neck injury and may not make it to WM
Dolph Ziggler returned at the rumble and eliminated Randy Orton as Orton punted him and took him out of action last November
Billy Gunn has stated he is tired of Seth Rollins running his mouth, and has challenged him to a match for the IC title on Smackdown this Thursday.

WWE End of Days Results
WWE TV title tournament finals Chris Jericho def. Cesaro
I'm sure this result would light up the internet. I was playing as Cesaro but Y2J got a lucky roll up I couldn't kick out of.
No holds Barred match Dean Ambrose def. Randy Orton
Probably match of the night, went all over the arena, really fun.
WWE Tag Team Titles match Luke Harper and Erick Rowan def. Finn Balor and Sami Zayn to win the tag titles
Following the match Finn Balor hits Sami Zayn with a sucker punch
Santas little helper match Paige def. Eva Marie
A few months back after Paige defeated Natalya for the Women's title, Mr. McMahon introduced Eva Marie as Paige's protege. Paige never liked the idea and at Survivor Series lost the title to Charolette (who has been getting an attitude of her own recently). After that defeat Paige blamed Eva Marie and told her she wasn't a real wrestler and was only skating by on her looks. Eva Marie said Paige was just jealous and challenged her to a santas little helpers match where they would both wrestle in a sexy santa suit. Paige is appalled but William Regal signs off on the match. Paige comes out first wearing nothing… but her regular attire. Eva Marie then comes out in a sexy santa outfit. However Paige takes care of her pretty handily.
WWE Intercontinental title match Seth Rollins def. Kevin Nash
Last month Seth Rollins defeated Triple H ending his in ring career. Seth has been bragging non stop about it even though the company now belongs to Hunter. Kevin Nash returned to set Seth straight but alas Seth still came out on top.
Roman Reigns def. John Cena
In the biggest shocker of the night Reigns got a victory over Cena. However it was by bout out after Reigns speared Cena through the barricade. Reigns has been dominate ever since his attitude has changed recently.
WWE Title Hell in a Cell match Daniel Bryan def. Sheamus
Bryan defeated Sheamus by Submission and William Regal put a clause in the contract that Sheamus could have no more title shots with Bryan if he were to lose this match.
Next Month: Royal Rumble

So I've recently returned to universe mode since finishing school. Heres a refresher of where I was. I finished at Survivor Series 2016 with team Triple H defeating team Vince giving Vince control of the company. Seth Rollins also defeated Triple H at SS ending HHH's in ring career.
Triple H cam out the next night on Raw thanking the fans and telling them that he is going to spend more time in nxt now. He then has to appoint a new Raw GM. He chooses William Regal. Regal wastes no time shaking things up as he announces a tournament for the new WWE TV title. The bracket has many surprises including the debut of Tyler Breeze and the return of Chris Jericho.
Sheamus is demanding Regal give him a WWE title show agaist champion Daniel Bryan. Regal says he will give him one at the next ppv, End of Days, but he Sheamus loses he can have no more shots at the title as long as Bryan holds it, also the match will be hell in a cell.
Speaking of End of Days, here is the card TV Title finals Chris Jericho vs. Cesaro
No holds barred match Dean Ambrose vs. Randy Orton
Tag title match Finn Balor and Sami Zayn [c] vs. Harper and Rowan
Santa's little helper match Paige vs. Eva Marie
IC title match Seth Rollins[c] vs. Kevin Nash
John Cena vs. Roman Reigns
WWE title hell in a cell match Daniel Bryan [c] vs. Sheamus
I'll post results later

Chris Jericho
I love the oval title, it's my all time favorite title design. I loved the IC title in the late 90s early 2000s when I first started watching. I always wanted to be IC champ more than world champ.

PrinceBalor that's awesome! It's my dream to one day go to mania. I am going to Fastlane so that should be cool. Anyway here are the results to Survivor Series PTP def. Swagger and Big Show Charlotte def. Paige to become the new WWE Women's champion Balor and Zayn def. Corbin and Owens to retain the WWE tag titles Following the match Corbin and Owens get into a shoving match Bray Wyatt def. Ryback Seth Rollins def. Triple H retaining the IC title and ending Triple H's career. This was actually a great match, it went about 20 minutes and Rollins won with the curb stomp which he has not used in months as he had adopted the pedigree. Brock Lesnar def. Batista Another great match with a lot of back and forth action it took 2 F-5's to put Batista away. Team McMahon vs. Team Triple H for control of the WWE "The biggest match in WWE history" I should have retitled it the longest match in WWE historyThe McMahon consisted of Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, and Sheamus. Team HHH had Dean Ambrose and WWE champion Daniel Bryan, but did they find a replacement for Ziggler? Team McMahon came out first followed by Ambrose the Bryan, the audience waited anxiously to see if anyone else would come out. Finally some familiar music hit and out came JOHN CENA!! Cena had not been seen since WM when he lost the title to Bryan. Since then he was out with an injury that was expected to keep him out for a year. But in just 7 months Cena has returned. This was actually my first time using Cena on this game since Mania which I did on purpose to help build the drama. Ambrose and Orton started the match and everyone got into it except Cena. "We want Cena" chants filled the arena (they actually did). The first person to go out was Bryan (there's WWE making Bryan look weak even as champion ). Another 20 minutes went by before another elimination would occur. The next one out is Randy Orton. Soon after Reigns is eliminated. It is down 2 to 1 in Team HHH's favor. Ambrose gets hit with White noise and Sheamus goes for the pin, but Cena breaks it up. Cena gets in the match and goes for the five knuckle shuffle, but Sheamus reverses. Sheamus locks in the cloverleaf and it looks like Cena is going to tap. Ambrose breaks it up and Cena gets Sheamus down. Cena then hits the five knuckle shuffle and then for the first time in 7 months hits the AA and gets the 3 count. Vince McMahon is out of the company he created and Triple H is now in charge. It's a new day (yes it is) in the WWE. The match went on for nearly an hour. It was fun but at times got a little frustrating. 2K could really benefit from limiting the number of interferences in tag matches but overall it was fun.

Finally got my universe mode put back together after the new DLC came out. It skipped over Smackdown, but that's okay. If it had skipped over Survivor Series i would have been p*ssed since that is what my whole story has been building to. So here is my official Survivor Series preview Prime Time Players vs. Big Show and Jack Swagger w/Zeb Coulter Last month Vince McMahon called out Titus O neal and offered him a chance to become a Vince McMahon guy. Titus refused after talking with his partner Darren Young. Vince made some homophobic comments towards Young and put the 2 in a match against each other. The Big Show came out and took out both men. Big Show says he works for Vince and follows his orders. In the following weeks Big Show takes out both members of the PTP in singles matches. The PTP reunite and take out Big Show together until Jack Swagger, who is now back with Zeb Coulter, make the save. Zeb says he does have a problem with the way Darren Young lives his life and real Americans like him and Swagger are going to side with Vince McMachon and stand proud as real Americans. Women's title match Paige[c] vs. Charlotte Charlotte recently debuted and has been very impressive since coming to the main roster. At the same time Vince brought in Eva Marie who he sees as the future of the division and told Paige to take her under her wing. Both Charlotte and Eva Marie had put up impressive victories leading to a match between the two for a shot at the women's title. Paige seemed a little reluctant to help Eva Marie train for the match and the two got into and argument at ringside. This lead to a Charlotte victory and now she is going on to face Paige. Tag title matchSami Zayn and Finn Balor[c] vs. Kevin Owens and Baron Corbin Zayn and Balor have been very impressive since winning the titles from the Ascension. Owens has issues with both men so he found himself a partner in the NXT Champion Baron Corbin. There is an interesting history to the NXT title here as well. Balor had to forfeit the title after an attack from Owens left him injured. Zayn and Corbin fought their way to a match for the vacant NXT title that Corbin ended up winning. Corbin is holding an NXT title that Balor never lost. Since joining forces Corbin and Owens have looked unstoppable and they may have a very good shot at winning the titles. Bray Wyatt vs. Ryback Ryback has been dominating the WWE for months. He has gotten big wins over Rusev, Big Show, Kevin Owens, and even retired Mark Henry. But recently Bray Wyatt has begun to play mind games with Ryback. The rumor going around is that Vince made a deal with Wyatt to distract Ryback from Triple H's SS team. The Wyatt family is whole again and Ryback has been taking down all his opponents so it'll be interesting to see what happens when these 2 meet. Title vs. Career matchTriple H vs. Seth Rollins[c] Seth Rollins was at one time Triple H's protege, but that came to an end earlier this year. This 2 met once earlier this year at WM where Triple H came out on top. But now the stakes are raised as Seth Rollins IC title has been put on the line as well as Triple H's career. Triple H has a lot he could potentially lose, but a lot he could gain. Batista vs. Brock Lesnar Last month Brock Lesnar defeated Triple H rather decisively. Since then Paul Heyman has been bragging of Lesnar's accomplishments and talking about how washed up Hunter is. This lead to the return of the Animal to defend his former mentor. Batista says that Triple H taught him a lot about this business and considers him a close friend. If Heyman has something to say about Hunter, Batista says he can say it to him. This lead to a confrontation with Lesnar and Batista and a match has been set. Team Triple H vs. Team McMahon for control of the WWE "The biggest match in WWE history"Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, and ? vs. Sheamus, Roman Reigns, and Randy Orton This is it, the match that will decide the direction this company will go following SS. The winning team will decide whether Triple H or Vince McMahon controls the company, and the other will be out. This has been building for months, ever since Daniel Bryan won the WWE title at WM. Vince does not endorse Bryan as champion while Triple H does. Tentions have built since that time with superstars taking sides with either Hunter and Vince. Vince has recruited a number of big men including Roman Reigns who turned his back on his "brother" Dean Ambrose. Since that time Ambrose has attempted to attack Reigns at every turn. Bryan and Sheamus have been at it for months too trading the WWE title back and forth (Bryan is the current champion). Orton also sided with Vince after he decided Triple H couldn't keep up in the ring anymore. Ziggler was meant to be on Hunter's team, but an attack from Orton left him unable to compete. Currently Triple H's team looks to be down before the match even starts, will he be able to find a suitable replacement? By the end of this night Triple H could be IC Champion and owner of the company, or he could lose his spot as COO and his wrestling career could come to an end. He has everything to gain but everything to lose. *Also I'm looking for a good elimination tag match to watch before this event on the network, any suggestions? Right now I'm leaning toward Alliance vs. Team WWF at SS 2001 or Nexus vs. Team WWE at SummerSlam 2010, which should I go with or is there another good one? I don't want to watch Team Raw vs. Team SD SS 2005 cause I've seen it a ton of times. Thanks for reading and for the feedback. Looking forward to seeing where you're going with this. As for Elimination Tag Matches, I recommend Team Bischoff vs Team Austin from Survivor Series 2003. Thanks for the input, also did I read in another thread that you're going to mania?

Team McMahon for control of the WWE "The biggest match in WWE history" Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, and ?
