Winston toys r us is a joke. 6 elite boppv miz that's it! Not to mention the 3 or 4 Best of 2012 Alberto Del Rio figures, unless they sold them since midnight last night. There was nothing else to report on the Hane's Mall side of Winston either.

Great to hear those are popping up, I won't be able to get out there til Sunday, hoping they have at least 1 of each! Hopefully, but don't hold your breath though. Remember how scalpers are in this area, along with how close it is to Christmas. Winston Toys "R" Us got in one case and there was a lone John Cena left today, so that gives you an idea. Good luck!

Score! I hit the jackpot at the Toys "R" Us in Greensboro earlier today when I picked up the entire set of the new Best of Pay-Per-View Elite figures! All look great and I was able to get a Sin Cara that was nearly perfect paint wise, but the other four left behind are terrible; both mask and entrance coat on most. There were several John Cena, about a handful of Sheamus and only 2 left of Christian after I was done. It looks like they got three cases worth. The only other figures there that are noteworthy includes the Championship Editions of Carlos Condit, Georges St-Pierre and Jon Jones in the Round 5 figures. Everything else looks like the usual for this store.
Hopefully, this is it for my Toys "R" Us purchasing, at least for a while as the three here in the Piedmont have been asswipes toward me lately. Despite the fact that they raise prices at the same time. $21.99 and up is ridiculous to pay for Elite figures. Wal-Mart has even been easier to deal with and that is saying a lot (I never thought I would type that). To hell with buying from them if I can help it...

Just about forgot that I found Series 11 in the UFC Round 5 for anyone that collects them. They had them at the Toys "R" Us in Winston Saturday night and I picked up the Championship Editions of Carlos Condit, Jon Jones and Georges St-Pierre. Bones and GSP are different versions than the Championship Series that they released of them earlier this year (different Pay-Per-View events), on top of the fact that each comes with a "Collector Poster" as well. I got the last Condit, but there was at least 2 left of both GSP and Bones in the Championship Editions. They must have packed those two heavier this time around.
There is nothing new to report from this store other than them getting in more Best of 2012 Basics. They had several Alberto Del Rio and one Daniel Bryan and Sin Cara if I recall correctly. Nothing else new other than the two dozen or so Best of Pay-Per-View Elite Miz figures.

Walmart on Hanes mall in Winston has basic 21 & bp 19, but no primo/epico tried to see if anymore was in back but nobody wanted to help me That store is horrible and notorious for that. Try calling in there to get them to check something, it is even worse...

Late last night, I ventured up to the Concord Toys "R" Us on a tip from an employee that they had the new Best of Pay Per View Build-A-Figure Series in. Guess what, yet again, I drove to an empty promise. Nothing there except multiple cases of the Build-A-Figure Ricardo Rodriguez set along with two to three cases of Best of Basics 2012. There were multiples of everyone in the Build-A-Figure set, but everyone was plentiful except for The Great Kahli in the Best of set. I did find a Kahli hidden, which I bought as it seems extremely rare for some reason and really doesn't fit the wave as it is.
All in all, I am a little pissed that I received garbage information from two Toys "R" Us employees at two different stores in one day. If it weren't for the Build-A-_______ Series, then I would retract from shopping there in the future...

Still no sign of the John Laurinatis BOPPV figures yet? Still no sign around here, but... I did find Battle Packs 19 here at my local Wal-Mart! I picked up one each of Epico/Primo and John Cena/Kane! Epico, Primo and Kane are awesome in person, especially that Kane (this was the first time I seen his new figure up close). They had one John Cena/Kane and two Daniel Bryan/Big Show after I was done. In addition, I went to the Greensboro Toys "R" Us afterward on a tip that was worthless. Nothing new to report. All in all, a good haul as I was able to pick up the Epico/Primo pack which I thought would be nearly impossible to find this time of year; in addition to the John Cena/Kane set.

Have you found anyone from that Battle Pack Series yet? I've yet to see any sign of them here. nope. Most of the spaces for BattlePacks in WalMarts around here are near empty, so I HOPE they are replenished with the new ones soon. I'm seeing the same thing for the Piedmont region as well which is shocking considering they released so many series in such a small amount of time.

Went hunting in Burlington today, they had 3/4 of the WM28 Elites (no HBK) at the TRU Express in Alamance Crossing, but they were $21.99 each! Target across the way from there had an E15 Truth and Rey, thats it. I scored big at KMart. Found tons of E15 Caras, Truths and Mysterios, 1 Bourne several E16 Rocks and Punks, 1 Jackson and my most wanted figure, DIESEL! They were having a sale so i got Diesel for $14.39 plus tax! Nothing at walmart except another Truth and Rey. Oh and an empty E16 Punk! Were they the gold version or mustard version?

My girlfriend and I went to Raleigh for the Tran Siberrean Orchestra show and I made an all important stop! I scored both Elite 18 Jerry Lawler and Undertaker at the Toys R Us in Raleigh. It was the last Jerry Lawler, but there was at least 3 Flashback Undertaker, 1 Brodus Clay and at least 3 of everyone else left after I was done. I took advantage of the promotion as well and picked up a Best of Pay Per View Basic Rey Mysterio too, along with the added $4 TRU Rewards coupon I had! What a deal! There was nothing else worth mentioning there.
Lawler's figure is great, other than the headscan that looks rather odd. Undertaker's Flashback, on the other hand, is one of my favorite Elite figures to date! I want to send a special thanks to all of the Raleigh area collectors that mentioned this TRU and allowed me to get a figure that is going to be a pain in the ass to find in my neck of the woods. I really appreciate it!
All in all, a trip that I was dreading turned out solid in the end! The two Flashbacks alone were worth the trip!

Anyone still seeing EGs? Suddenly decided i want EG Taker. Ive heard tbeyve been seen at Ross and Marshalls can anyone confirm this? If I am not mistaken, the other Marshalls in Winston had them when I called up there a few weeks ago. I would all first just to confirm. EDIT: I just now noticed that you are looking for Entrance Greats, no luck on those, but his Defining Moments figure is everywhere. Check Big Lots for those.

I forgot to mention it, but I found the Best of Pay Per View Basic Series 2 last Sunday at the Winston Toys "R" Us. They only had one Triple H, which I got, and at least 2 of Sheamus and 3 of both The Rock and John Cena. Needless to say, I picked up the whole set.
Did anyone go to the Wrestlecade event in Winston last Sunday? I was there and it was a great show with a ton of regular "name" talents here on the North Carolina indy scene. I got Matt Hardy to sign my Twist of Hate 2 pack and Luke Gallows signed my Elite 9 figure. Great show for the money and I would highly suggest to make it next year as they are planning to do it again.
All in all, a busy, but rewarding weekend!

Did they have an Elite 14 Booker T by chance? Not that I saw, but the toy section was in shambles - crap just thrown everywhere. Bossman & Diesel were right on front. I'm sure they're gone by now. Oh, thanks anyway! Yea, they are probably gone as I'm sure a scalper got them...

Sears at Cary Town Center Mall had a handful of random Mattel figures including E16 Diesel & E14 Bossman. Unfortunately, I had no cash on hand, so I had to pass! MSF Did they have an Elite 14 Booker T by chance?

Is anyone from the board planning on going to the CWF Mid-Atlantic ippv tomorrow night in Gibsonville? survivor.cwf247.com is the URL with all the info. I wouldn't mind going, but I opted to go to the PWX show in Boone instead!

I took a little trip to Greensboro to do a little figure hunting and here is a brief rundown of what I saw and bought:
Greensboro Toys "R" Us: -Thirty to fourty Battle Packs John Cena/Rock. No lie, that was how many they had... -Adding to that, there was also a lone Battle Packs Bella Twins for whomever hasn't found that gem yet. -At least 2 of everyone from Best of Pay Per View Elite Series 1. Though, I don't recall seeing Bret Hart, but I wasn't paying a lot of attention anyway. -There was at least 2 of The Miz and Big Show from Best of Pay Per View Series 2. +Maybe there was more product worth mentioning, but honestly I couldn't remember what all was there. The store was a mad house with most customers confused, thinking it was Black Friday or something...
I ventured to a Target somewhere in the city and scored a Basic 22 Zack Ryder. My girlfriend told me where it was located, so sorry I can't give a location off the top of my head.
So, to remedy that, I found three cases of Basic 22 at the Thomasville Wal-Mart for anyone that may be looking.
All in all, a half way decent trip as I got what will hopefully be the last Zack Ryder figure I will buy for a longtime as I already picked up his Elite 17, Battle Packs 17 and now, Basic 22 figures. They are all good figures however. I'm done with everything at retail until new series start hitting.
