red trunks with white American made shirt and batb 96 also Iβd say Python Power over all these. WWF Magazine cover with barbellβ¦ YES. Python Power is so insanely overdue. Jakks never made one. Storm Collectibles never made one, and Mattel has yet to make one. And personally, I feel like it's one of the most iconic looks for Hogan. For example, the pic used for Hogan's character stats in WWE 2K14, and also on the package of his Hall of Fame figure (even though it didn't match the figure)...that's what I need in figure form.

Yeah, same here (I actually much prefer the attire of his first Elite too). I think the main reason his UE is getting so much love is due to the exclusivity of the set and the excitement of reaching the tier goal to unlock his figure. If Doink had been announced for the main UE line though - or even the UE Legends series - I think most people would actually have been a bit pi$$ed off... "what a waste of a spot!" etc. Some of that excitement does come from the fact that it seemed unlikely that Doink would see the light of day with how poorly the set sold before they added Savage. His inclusion added a great deal of added value to the $250 admission fee, but I do think a lot of people truly just think it is a great figure because it finally gives us a definitive version of Doink that has not been seen since his one-and-done Hasbro nearly 30 years ago. The initial Elite from Mattel was really solid. If it included a ring jacket then it would have been perfect. The second Elite kind of bothers me because it is a mash-up of different versions. You have a Matt Borne head with a Ray Apollo attire which doesn't work. That one really could have used a different scan to better represent babyface Doink. The UE is as definitive as it gets. Matt Borne - multiple heads included - in the original Doink attire with a cloth ring jacket AND his mallet. Finally, the PERFECT Doink figure and I am a happy guy. Beautifully said, my friend. I think you and I are the biggest Doink fans on here. This UE is literally a grail piece for me, and like you said, it's the definitive Doink figure. Being able to get him in that attire, with a cloth jacket, mallet, and utilizing the best articulation they've ever used is just awesome. If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure he's also sporting some brand new, unique parts such as the entire torso. Best of all, the head sculpts are perfect and I'm so glad two of them are brand new. And yeah, I also wish they would do a proper Apollo Doink. He had a rounder face and his wig was more long and stringy. Would love to get an elite 2-pack with him and Dink in their striped face attire

I'd also want that green trunks Warrior. That is generally what I think of when I picture Warrior...probably from the Hasbro days.
And I know some people are tired of getting repeats in the UE line, but dammit...I desperately need a UE Python Power Hulk Hogan. Because THAT'S how I always picture the Hulkster. I feel like it's an incredibly iconic look, but for some reason neither Jakks or Mattel have ever done it.
I also want a UE Hulk still Rules w/ the Undisputed title, bandana, sunglasses, boas, cloth shirt and several all NEW heads

I honestly don't see why they couldn't do a 2-in-1 with Brock.
If they gave him a cowboy hat, cloth goods jeans, flannel and the bearded head that, would be a current "Lumberjack Brock"
Remove those and give him cloth shorts, gloved hands and appropriate head sculpt for his "return" look that he had up until recently.
And then obviously you could put the bearded head with the shorts and gloved hands

I definitely want an UE Orton.
The main reason is because between double jointed elbows and butterfly joints, you'd finally be able to pull off a convincing RKO pose.

hopefully not. theres literally no reason to re-release any of the others. Mattel has specifically said the ONLY reason they did it with Brock & Shawn was because they were very limited in production the first time around It makes sense really, I think that was the first set to not make it to retail during that weird time where they shifted to Amazon exclusives. Every other set including the first few has been very easy to obtain at retail. I literally remember seeing Warrior, Bret, etc for months. Just because I didn't buy them at the time and regret it now, doesn't mean Mattel should re-release them to appease my collection. Well, I understand not wanting them to do straight re-releases, and that's not really what I want either. What I DO want is updated versions of some of those figures. Realistically, I wish the Brock and Shawn had updated torsos with butterfly joints. Same thing with the Amazon Rock. I missed out on him and it's such a personal bummer. But I would love them to release him with different deco on his trunks and a new torso with butterflies.

Hey Steve, do you think it would be possible to get an updated version of the original Ultimate Edition Rock?
I think a lot of people missed out (I know I did), and I would love another chance to get him, especially with an updated torso featuring butterfly joints.
The prices he goes for now are ridiculous!

I really want them to release the original UE Rock, but with an updated torso featuring butterfly joints.
I missed out on that original one, and it's insanely expensive now.
I appreciate them re-releasing Lesnar, but he's another one that would really benefit from butterfly joints, like getting an accurate belly to belly or German suplex pose. Even the F5 would probably be executed better

I think it'd be cool if Mattel released a series around the time the Arena ships, that would be all New Gen wrestlers...sort of a supplement to the arena, if you will.
I know I'd love something like:
1. Giant Gonzales 2. Psycho Sid (NEW head sculpt plz) 3. Dink 4. Bastion Booger 5. Crush 6. Luna
Obviously some of mine are pipe dreams, but I think we could definitely use more wrestlers from the era to go with that huge set piece!
What do you guys think?

If I could have afforded to, I would have backed a 2nd arena to sell off, just to keep the Doink MOC.
If he's reasonable on the 2nd market I may need to pull the trigger.

Doink was my main reason for backing the Arena lol. Once I saw he was unlocked, I immediately jumped on board. The Diesel, Macho, skirts, ring, entrance and crowd backdrop are all icing on a beautiful clown cake. I already loved the existing Doink head sculpt, but the additional two are some top level sculpts and are absolutely perfect for the character. And that new ring looks like the perfect place to hit the Whoopie Cushion! ...I still don't really understand why so many people are going mad for an UE Doink, lol. I mean, no-one seemed to care about his previous 2 figures - and if he was just made in the regular UE line, I'm sure people would say it was a wasted spot or why on earth are they making him an UE etc. For the record, I have backed/bought the ring - but there are quite a few New Generation figures I'd have preferred over the Doinkster. (...I'll get me coat... ) He is a very unique character in a line that is typically reserved for top-tier names that already have a dozen other figures every year. They have gone on record saying that this was the ONLY way we would have ever gotten someone like him in UE form.

Those Hogan sculpts have the best Hulkster likenesses that any toy company has ever produced. It's tough picking a favorite, but I think I've gotta go with the straight-faced head.
In all honesty, I've been mostly on the outs with this line and WWE in general. Which sucks bc I've been a life-long fan, and I WANT to be interested.
Well, all of these stellar pics and reveals today have turned me back around, and I'm finding myself really excited for the figure line, at least. Man...that Legends 15 Kane with an actual, accurate half-mask AND goatee at the same time...finally!

I just got Kane for Christmas, and unfortunately he has the issue.
Can anyone be so kind as to tell me how I go about getting a replacement? I know it was probably mentioned many times before in previous threads, so I apologize ahead of time!

I'm confident there will be changes to these prototype images.
I hope they don't change too much about Kane, since he's damn near perfect as-is. The belt I'm positive will change. There's no way they'd ship that...well, mostly no way they'd ship that lol
But I want to see his facial hair added to his chin. Then it will be perfect

I don't understand why people are acting like this is an unreasonable gripe. I've been a member on this board for a long ass time, and I've seen people complain about a hell of a lot less.
It's a legitimate issue, and it's been one for years now. Big guys like Hogan, Lesnar, Strowman, etc shouldn't have the same size hands as smaller guys. It looks weird to have huge arms down to the wrist and then little baby hands at the end.
I had to constantly do hand swaps a few years back when they finally made some proportionately scaled ones...but then for whatever reason they'll still randomly use the small ones again.
I think the SS Hogan is great, but having bigger fists would make it better. Unfortunately I don't really know of any figures with larger fists with that skin tone. I actually don't mind the grip hands and the open hands, so I've mainly been using them

Got my Kane order in...as a Kane mark, I had to make sure I didn't miss out, especially getting it early through RSC!
I still can't believe how absolutely perfect he looks!

My favorite thing about the UE SCSA is that he can finally do an actual Stone Cold Stunner, thanks to the butterfly joints and double jointed elbows!
My only complaint is I wish they would have included the newer head most recently seen on the Royal Rumble figure instead of that horribly old and outdated one that's been around for like 10 years. Even the True FX couldn't save that head sculpt

They should have given this Doink the slightly longer, stringier hair. Would have worked better for a Ray Apollo Doink. Agreed! I said the same thing when it was first revealed. If memory serves me right, I don't believe Matt Borne was ever in this attire...it was strictly Ray Apollo. Side note...dammit, we still need a Dink. They already have some tooling that would likely work between El Torito, Hornswaggle and the upcoming child Dominic. Honestly, I thought it would have been cool if they included him with the New Gen arena. It would have been a cool nod to Jakks canceled Dink that was supposed to come with the bend 'ems ring way back in the day.

Hey Steve!
Would you guys consider making something like 'Add-on' accessory packs for the New Gen arena (or any generation arena set up)?
Now more than ever, I really want items, like the metal guard rails and foam mats for around the outside of the ring because they would really help pull together the entire look and feel of an arena. I'd even love to get something like the crowd backdrop used in the promo video for the New Gen set.
