I just noticed they photoshopped Stings chin beard off and altered his lip paint at the sides...could have just used an older era pic and saved that hassle

Have you noticed the "world wrestling federation"text on mabel and bastion booger sketches is also exactly the same, backwards 'N'? Is that normal?

I thought that but it would have required some modification to the mould of his belt maybe.

Hopefully now a staff member has been found who might have contacts, we can find out more. I'm guessing all these figures would have been repaints of old moulds, so I wonder what would have been used for Mabel? I guess Mo or Booger would have had Earthquakes

I used to love making Hasbro rumbles while watchin a rumble on tv (that way I could keep time). Rumble 90 was always my favourite cos of Warrior/Hogan confrontation. I remember watching that event and my parents walked in on the Brother Love/Sapphire/Sherri segment. Typical, non-wrestling fans walk in on the most embarrassing bit of the show. Did anyone else used to rip up bits of paper with the numbers 1-30 on, screw them up and do a random Rumble entry selection?

I'm pretty sure I saw these sets in newsagents or corner shops in the little toy sections around 2000. I distinctly remember seeing a Razor Ramon anyway. Unfortunately I wasnt interested in Hasbros anymore at this point and had only just sold my 70 figure collection the year before (for a measly £35) so I didnt think much of it. Has anyone got better images of the "Michaels" head? Im not sure about the whole thing, I mean some hasbro heads didnt always greatly resemble who they were supposed to be, like Yokozuna, IRS or the Mountie so theres always that. But who knows. We already have an ex-Hasbro employee on here now, lets search for an ex-Mannix chap.

I love seeing Hasbros at car boots. before i really started collecting them again there was this one old chap who had a box of some hasbros and jakks, and the hasbros were really beat up and pretty much broke. He tried to say they were worth a lot of money and fetch up to hundreds on the internet. hmmmm. My best buy was an Ultimate Warrior & Hulk Hogan bag from a charity shop in Wales for £2, in mint condition.

Awesome, this guy could be a great hasbro source too, maybe with some info on what figures were going to be made and what changes happened. Cool purchase

Ah thanks for the info. A moment of silence for Woolworths please.
I wish in 93/94 I had been more into getting figures, but unfortunately my parents weren't the types who would just buy me toys for the hell of it, I had to work to earn any gifts. And I couldn't be bothered to do any work because I was too busy playing with my figures. A vicious Hasbro circle. I wish I knew what the inspiration was behind Hasbro making a yellow ring, its an unusual colour scheme for a WWF ring

My first batch of figures was Christmas 1992. I remember asking for figures the year before but was denied. When I ran downstairs that year I grabbed the present that looked like a figure (card and bubble shape) and opened it, unveiling Donald and Douglas from Thomas the tank engine. I did get 17 figures that year tho thankfully, while my new trains sat unloved and unopened.
I eventually sold all my figures in 1999 (over 70 for a measly £40), but a few years ago got the temptation to buy them again. I contacted an old bud who had figs, and he offered to sell me 51 for £50 in a set which included 123 Kid and Adam bomb, so technically I got kid and bomb for less than £1 each. woohoo!

Yeah I remember a few foreign cards showing up. For Christmas 95 I had Brutus Beefcake 2 on foreign card, and remember picking up the first Big Boss Man from a market on foreign too around the same time. I swore to myself that I would keep the nightstick and shears safe, but they got lost eventually.

Thats the one, I never saw it on sale in the UK anywhere in 94, not sure if anyone else did tho. Thanks for the pic, the box would have been a lot better if it had the Bret figure fighting Yoko and Taker vs Lex or somethin, like the original box with Warrior Hulk Rude and MAcho
