Cena is SO good at handling hostile crowds. Doesn't have to resort to taking cheap shots at people; just uses the people's energy and redirects it elsewhere.

This Jack Gallagher guy has more personality than the entire RAW roster combined.

The irony of all this is the fact that RAW kicks off with the same storyline that Punk was involved in five years ago. How little things have changed.

Lol, this butt-hurt company will never pass up an opportunity to take a shot at Punk, as if he's watching or cares even the slightest what they say.

The Cruiserweight Division was never put into a position to succeed. The WWE just wrongfully assumed that because a one-month tournament held in front of a smaller, wrestling-oriented crowd went over well that they wouldn't have to change anything and just put it on RAW. It doesn't work that way. I can guarantee you that a large majority of the WWE's target age demographic knew nothing about the Cruiserweight Classic and never heard of any of these guys beforehand. If you're not a pure wrestling fan who enjoys the indies and watching real wrestling matches (aka an NXT crowd), then as a 10-year-old fan of the WWE you would have zero connection to any of these matches or wrestlers. Now, if you were to tell me that 205 Live and the entire Cruiserweight division was going to be exclusively taped the same nights as NXT shows at Full Sail Arena, then you'd have a better chance of it succeeding.
The failure of the Cruiserwight Division is basically a perfect reflection of the WWE overall. You have an out of touch owner/creative team who has no idea what the audience wants to see or how one crowd differs from another. That's the WWE in a nutshell.

Taker is the only guy who makes sense. If he doesn't challenge for the title at the Rumble, then it makes his entire line about WrestleMania no longer defining him pointless. I would have to hope/think that the entire reason they had him say that line was because they had bigger plans and Taker committed to at least one other date besides WrestleMania this year. Otherwise, it makes the entire promo pointless.

Probably, just so Vince can have Strowman squash them and set a record by eliminating five guys at once.

Regardless of whether you like or dislike Barrett, this is just the latest case of a guy who grew up wanting nothing more than to be in this business, and had their passion and desire absolutely crushed from working for the WWE. The travel schedule and creative direction have proven on multiple occasions create an absolutely toxic environment. I can't think of a worse time to be a WWE fan in my lifetime. At least when the company had their clear-cut favorites in the past the roster was deep enough to provide a decent under-card to at least give you some interest in watching. Right now, there is absolutely nothing positive on the horizon. The few guys in the company who are in their prime and could be big stars are having their talents wasted in underwhelming storylines, and the main event scene on each show has literally been some type of combination of the same 4-5 guys for several months now. When you combine that with the fact that Vince still thinks this is 1985, and Triple H and Stephanie are still out playing favorites of their own, everything Punk said in his pipe bomb five years ago has proven to be just as true now as ever.

Now that Ellsworth will hopefully be out of the picture for a while, The Miz can go back to being the most unbearable part of SmackDown.

How in the world has he shown that he doesn't have much to offer as a singles wrestler? He's never been given a legitimate chance to even do anything big on a singles level. You haven't been watching WWE since he debuted so you won't have seen it, but whenever his tag team splits up, he usually gets a bit of a singles push and proves himself completely incapable of portraying any kind of character or personality. He then falls down the card until he ends up in another tag team so the cycle can repeat itself. Why do you think Cesaro isn't a world champion? When Kevin Owens and AJ Styles are the champions, the whole "WWE hates guys from the indies" complaining doesn't make sense. So what's the conspiracy against Cesaro exactly? When his tag team runs have ended, he's been put in half-assed single runs that never had a chance to go anywhere. Aligning him with Heyman was basically ignored after a few weeks, and then after Tyson's injury he was just used solely to put other people over. Is he good on the mic? No. But you're going to tell me that the guy could be any less of a draw or have any less of a connection with the fans as a guy like Roman Reigns does? Please. Vince and Triple H have their favorites, and Cesaro isn't one of them. The guy has done anything and everything to make him deserving of at the very least getting a run in the main event scene, and he's never been given a real chance at getting there. He's in the tag team division because that's where the company wants him to be, just like the countless other names they have wasted the talents of.

These tournaments just don't appeal to me. I'm sure the matches will be fantastic, but everyone knows that the only way a guy will win is if he's already agreed to a contract with the WWE prior to winning the tourney. That alone takes away a great deal of suspense.

The word hyperbole certainly comes to mind. It was an entertaining 30 seconds or so though. I liked the stomp on the outside too haha. This is exactly what Cesaro should be doing. The internet shouldn't use this as an opportunity to complain about Cesaro's spot. His niche is as a great tag team wrestler and this is optimizing his ability. If he was more than a great tag team wrestler, he'd already be elevated. It's been almost 5 years and he's almost 36 years old. He is who he is. Absolutely spot on. Cesaro is great at this type of stuff, and kudos to WWE for realising this is the perfect use of him. As his career has shown time and time again, he hasn't got much to offer as a singles wrestler, but he can shine bright in a tag team role. It's a shame that people can't let themselves enjoy it. How in the world has he shown that he doesn't have much to offer as a singles wrestler? He's never been given a legitimate chance to even do anything big on a singles level.

James Ellsworth has taken away all of the enjoyment for SD that I had. To say that I'm sick of him - or, more accurately, the way he's been booked - is an understatement. There is not a single reason this guy should be working such a high-profile feud and getting title shots frequently the way he is.
