I think they're gonna try and make this feud between Ambrose and Rollins like the Gargano and Ciampa feud, where it'll be a slow build without Dean giving any answers and trying to take everything away from Seth. Some of the best ways to build up a feud, is keep the guys away from each other. If you're got two guys with talent, and don't have then get their hands on eachother for some time, people start to crave it more. That was also one of the things, that made the eventual Taz vs. Sabu match in ECW so big. Yeah, I agree. Unfortunately, they never have that patience anymore. NXT is essentially run like a different company entirely, so I'm not expecting them to take something that worked from there. I'm sure we'll be seeing Ambrose and Rollins face each other in tag matches every week by the time Thanksgiving rolls around.

so the answer is gonna be no answer, for a couple weeks while we figure out what we want his answer to be, and then the answer will just be "you never believed in me anyway and the fans turned their backs on me to cheer you" That's my biggest concern. Don't have the payoff to this just be some generic heel answer if you're going to build this feud up to be a long-term thing. They need to have a plan in mind that doesn't suck.

Dean should come out every week like Jericho did, go to explain his reasons and then just drop the mic and leave I think that's what they're going to do, it seems like they want to drag this feud out before they finally face each other.

That was somewhat what I wanted to see happen. I said last week they need to put off Ambrose giving an explanation and let the heat build towards him. He probably screws Rollins out of the tournament, then comes out next week and before saying a word just leaves again.

Lol there's no reference of him being tag team champion?

Please don't have Ambrose come out and give some generic response like "I never needed you guys, you just held me back, I'm the real star," etc. I really have somewhat high hopes for this feud.

Please, just bring on Seth and Dean already. I don't know how much more of this show I can take.

Ugh. I hope they don't put off Rollins and Ambrose until the main event.

Hoping the show kicks off with the Rollins and Ambrose feud, as I'm really intrigued to see what happens this week. That's really all I'm tuning in for.

I'm just reading the replies, but were Flashbacks really cancelled? So, now the only old-school figures we'll get will be in random Walmart BAF sets? No confirmation, just someone said on here, that someone there, heard they were Wow, that would really suck if true.

Strowman will probably be positioned as the top face in the sense that he'll main event and hold the title, but there's no doubt after what happened last night that Rollins will be getting the biggest babyface pops on a weekly basis, IMO.

Obviously, no matter how I may feel about his on-screen character, this is real life and this is truly awful news. His career and everything else is secondary at this point; the man has a wife and young children and I really hope he's able to live life to its fullest and beat this as soon as possible. I can't ever remember seeing anything like this happen, where a guy who is essentially the face of the WWE had to step aside due to cancer treatment. Needless to say, I hope I never have to see it again, either. I'm sure the company will give him all the support and access to the best doctors in the world, which is great news.
When I first read this on Facebook last night, I was baffled and had to do a double-take. This truly came out of nowhere. I admittedly haven't followed the company closely in a while, but still stayed in the loop by whatever I see on social media. As far as I know, nobody had any idea that this news was coming.

The way I would book Raw next week: Rollins comes out and instead of being furious, he admits he was wrong and pushed Ambrose over the edge, almost as if he's in denial. He begs for Dean to come out to try and plead with him to patch things up and apologize and let The Shield live on. Instead, Corbin comes out and orders Rollins that he has to defend the tag titles in the main event, with or without Ambrose. Rollins says he knows Dean will show up later to be in his corner and have his back. The match starts and Ambrose doesn't come out. Finally, as the match goes on and Rollins is being beaten down, Ambrose's music hits but he still doesn't come out. Rollins loses the titles, then Ambrose comes out from the crowd and brutally attacks him again and leaves.
That would turn Seth into the ultimate sympathetic babyface, while at the same time get Ambrose even more heat. All the fans want is for him to come out next week and give an explanation for what he did. I say, put it off and let the heat towards him build more and more until he finally faces Rollins and wins the IC title at Survivor Series.

I hope they don't have Ambrose switch to regular wrestling gear now that he's turned. His jeans look is even better for him as a heel, just lose the shirt and go back to taping up his fists.
Honestly, I haven't been this interested in anything in the WWE since Ambrose first won the title, I'll definitely be tuning back in to see where this goes with him.

They definitely are. Ambrose kept yelling at him about what he said last week, when Rollins jokingly called him a "lunatic." Ambrose sold this so perfectly, like it was tormenting him but he knew this is what he had to do. It was almost like the devil and angels on his shoulders and the devil was winning out, more and more as the beat down continued. Yeah, that was the impression I got. In a way, I thought this was even better than when Seth turned in 2014 because Ambrose actually showed the emotion he was going through by having to turn on Seth. With Rollins, it was all business; with Dean, he did it because it was personal.

i almost think that heel turn was better than Seth's...given the emotions involved I think I'd agree. Seth's was more of a surprise, but Dean's beat down seemed more brutal. And while Seth's turn was him trying to advance his career, Dean's is coming off, as a more personal reason for turning on his 'brother.' That was INSANE. What a totally unexpected timing for this heel turn. I really hope this means Ambrose finally gets the push he deserves. I loved Ambrose's reactions throughout the beatdown, like he was torn apart by doing this. Through part of it, it seemed like they were pushing the crazy aspect a little more. Like when he was setting up for Dirty Deeds on the floor and trash talking, he was never actually looking at Seth, he was looking off, doing it. I'd kinda like if they added a bit of that to his character, like in matches, or attacks, he's trash talking, but distant, or he's talking to himself. They definitely are. Ambrose kept yelling at him about what he said last week, when Rollins jokingly called him a "lunatic." Ambrose sold this so perfectly, like it was tormenting him but he knew this is what he had to do.

Why does the sound keep getting cut off? maybe some fans swearing and they're trying to censor it. I think it was Rollins cursing, hence Dean saying "watch your mouth" over and over again lol.
