WWE knows when the crowd picks a flavor if they’ll continue to eat or get sick of in a few months. Look at Jericho. He was brought in against the Rock, then weeks later was working Sunday Night Heat. The crowd was hot on him and fizzled because the aura of a WCW jumper went away. He had to rebrand himself, and that worked. Mordeci was brought in to be the ying to Takers yang. It didn’t work. He was erased from WWE and debuted as a vampire in WWECW. It worked for a few weeks, then again, people didn’t care. Look at Ryder. He got himself over, WWE started to use him, he cut his root show on Youtube, the crowd turned on him, and WWE quickly did away with him, where he fell down the ranks into NXT to team with a former football player. Thankfully he got a WM moment last year, and he is still employeed, but the formula always ends the same. The crowd either gives up on them, or the wrestler themselves quit.
We went from #Don’tHinderJinder to everyone getting hot over his title rin and now US run. Bobby Roode is getting turned on. Nakamura is getting turned on. Its all time. Those that stick around long enough to surpass that failure are those that truely have IT in wrestling. Those that can transend crowd turns and untilize it as a stepping stone in their character development, i.e heel/face turn. The writters are very much to blame for this. When they can’t think of a direction they turn their ears to the crowd.

Cause he has a lifestyle that would keep him away from being a father. Some call it selfish, I call it being honest. I respect someone that can make a decision like that instead of trying and failing as a parent. I don't know, the roster has many fathers that still manage to make time for their kids. I don't buy this. None of then have Cena’s schedule.

John Cena probably never wanted to propose to her in the first place. This whole thing sounds like it was Kevin Dunn's idea. I know the Beaver has a job for life, but let's say these articles aren't exactly painting the poster boy for WWE in a positive light. If it was truly Bucky Beaver's idea, it may be time for Vince to ship him to a more manageable job, like something in the mail room because if this plays out poorly in the public sphere, it could do some damage to the goody goody nature of John Cena, which will hurt merchandise sales and marketability. people.com/tv/nikki-bella-devastated-over-john-cena-split/Cornette? What are you doing here? I thought you hated marks?

Wait a minute...this isn't part of a storyline for Total Bellas, is it? Its a gimmick. Cena lost to Taker, Cena lost his mind, Cena lost his girl. Cena lost the crowd. This is a typical underdog story where in the end, Cena beats the deadman at WM35 in NY and marries the girl the next night on Raw.

Jakks did it, we got Jeans/Tshirt Goldberg from RSC then in a RA line before we ever got a ring gear version. Jakks made a lot of stuff that people didn’t want/didn’t sell Jakks had the main license for nearly 15 years. In that time span they made alot of figures. Many of which were celebrated here. The end of Jakks TTL run and start of the RA line with the HBK figure in the Raw 10 Anniversary line is what led me to this forum. The RA style figures revolutionized wrestling figures. You can not take away Jakks real scan head sculpts. Many hold up today. Mattel has also released countless things that many collectors consider junk and unwanted. Needless to say, a company doesn’t hold onto a license for 15 years if they were phoning it in. Yes the last year with Jakks was a joke, but WWE chose to move on. Jakks will always have a special place in my heart from the BCA days up to their TNA run. I’m happy with Mattel, but you can’t toss out Jakks as not having a earned place in wrestling toy history.

Does anyone know a specific reason why he doesn’t want kids? I heard once it’s because he works with make a wish so much and he wouldn’t want to witness his child go through what other children go through. Cause he has a lifestyle that would keep him away from being a father. Some call it selfish, I call it being honest. I respect someone that can make a decision like that instead of trying and failing as a parent.

I really don't think that's the reason we haven't had more figures - just look at guys like Brock, Austin and Roman to name a few... I didn't primarily say that's the only reason why he doesn't have more figures, not to mention, they can also do his other gear, but i didn't say that cause not alot of people would want a non-wrestling Goldberg before a wrestler version Jakks did it, we got Jeans/Tshirt Goldberg from RSC then in a RA line before we ever got a ring gear version.

Goldberg doesn’t have a legends deal with wwe currently, his short run last year before mania 33 he did have a deal for a short period. Until he does sign one there won’t be any more figures, it only a matter of time he does sign then you’ll get your wcw Goldberg etc. Not true. The HOF contract includes a merch deal.

Do people still buy DVDs? I got a collection in florida that i would love to part with. i do from time to time? What’d you got to part with? So much. About 90 WWE Dvdz/BluRay, about 12-15 ROH Dvds, like 6 original ECW dvds, some various Indy feds like CZW, PWG, XPW, MLW and then shoots.

War. It’s the defentition of De-evolution War is inevitable. If history has shown anything, peace time is simply a pause inbetween military advancement. There will always be conflict, there will always be conquerors and the conquered. What pisses me off, are those that don’t see the necessity for military peacocking.

Correct. Anybody buying Toys R Us and keeping the stores open will have to assume the $6 billion debt as well and $890 million is not enough. Its just false hope at this point. I'm not an expert on bankruptcy auctions, but I don't believe that's accurate. This is a bid submitted through the Chapter 11 auction process, not a business sale. There are also bids of $1B+ for the Asian operation, and presumably will be other offers for the remaining assets in Europe and the US. If the bid is approved by the bankruptcy judge, the new company would be free and clear of the the previous debt. There's still a long, long way from this being approved and finalized. But unless there are stronger offers out there, I haven't seen anything saying it isn't a plausible option. New owner consumes the debt. Banks want their money, trust that. I know a company has already purchased a set amount of Canadian stores, so as of now, Canada will still have TRU.

Sorry, $890 Million is a drop in the bucket against the $5 Billion dollar debt of the company that would be acquired. It would take the footprints of current TRU shoppers for 5 straight years to break even based off of TRU’s past 5 year financial reports. I want TRU to stick around like any other collector, but those greedy CEO’s and execs did a number on the brand and hobby that has left its footprint behind.
