It was Diva Wednesday for me, picked up AJ and the Bella Twins from a Walmart in Hamilton. They only had 2 single figure there, the AJ and one Zach Ryder. Picked up the BPPV Punk today at TRU in Hamilton, which is good because I needed the arms that came with him to finish Ricardo.

I went to the small Walmart on Upper Sherman and Mohawk today. No WWE floor display, the figures they had on the pegs were on sale for $10. What did they have on sale......SERIES 4!!!!!! Golddust, MVP, HBK, Regal, Ziggler and FAT Matt Hardy!!!!!!!! They must have dug deep in their warehouse for these figures. Hamilton's TRU is buried in 20-0 Undertakers and not much else. Picked up the WWE Encyclopedia and Sin Cara at a different Walmart on Sunday. Was surprised that "he who shall not be named" was included with picture in the Encyclopedia, the WWE have been very active it making it appear that HE did not exist, so I'm surprise that this got past them.

A white wire bin full of 20-0 Undertakers at the TRU in Hamilton today. With the odd PPV Big Show and Miz thrown in.

Cena sides with Vince but Punk outsmarts them and wins the title. As Vince/Cena argue in the ring, Punk leaves for the back to get his stuff. As Punk is about to "leave the arena with the title" he is jumped from behind and knocked through the door. Punk beated and left on the ground by a yet unknown attacker. After the attacker picks up the title belt, you see that the attacked is Dwayne Johnson. Flash back to the ring with a shocked Cena and smiling Vince watching. Vince turns to Cena and says "You think I would trust you to get something this important done." Fade to Black. Raw starts with Cena confronting Vince and Dwayne.

It's a work, but they probably cut him off when they did because he was going somewhere they did not want him to go. He had said he was going to go to TNA to some old friends like Mickie James or Raven, then you could lean more towards shoot, as Vince would not any reference to that company on his show. He mentioned Brock's failed attempt to leave with the title, given who was in the building, I was surprised and a bit disappointed that Punk did not mention Bret Hart's attempt to leave the company as Champion, their situations are a bit similar. Punk's last match is in hometown and is guaranteeing a win, where Bret was in his home country and worked things so he would not lose at home. Both want to go out looking good in front of the home fans, but you know how well that turned out from Bret. Will Punk meet the same fate? Will Punk be screwed by Vince? If Vince and family show up during the match or one of the people Punk called out ends up as special guest referee (HHH or "Dwayne"), Chicago fans better be ready to follow in Montreal fans footsteps.
Oh, Colt Cabana owes Punks something, as there were probably a lot of people in that audience who went home and went on Google to find who the hell Colt Cabana is? His popularity has just jumped leaps and bounds.

Went to the local TRU and it was a sad state of affairs. Was hoping to find the Dreamer/Christain 2pc but all they had was the Dibiase/Rhodes 2pc. In terms of single figure, like a local Walmart, it was a Series 2 C M Punk forest, the clear champion peg warmer of the Mattel WWE figures. One surprise was that they had Elite series 5 figures, skipped right over series 4. The 2 figures that Canada gets are Rey Mysterio (again) and Mark Henry. WHAT IS MATTEL THINKING!!! First, we get only 10 of the 30 Elite figures they released in the first 5 series, second, we get NONE of the Canadian wrestlers they have released in Elite form so far (which does not make sense because you would think that Canadian wrestlers as Canadian Exclusive figures would make sense), and third, we get so few of the Elite figures already, why are we getting a repeat figure. Who is making the decisions at Mattel, trained monkeys?!?

Went to the Walmart at Eastgate Square in Hamilton today, they had one side of a floor display full with WWE Elite series 2 and 3 and Flex Force Big Talk C M Punk. The Elites I believe were $19.99 each. Had lots of the 4 Elites (HHH and Batista, HBK and John Cena).

Picked up Hardcore Forever 6 dvd set at Zellers for $4.99 and Matt Hardy Flex Force w/weapons for $17.17 at TRU. I believe all of the WWE figures were 25% off.

they had series 2 and 3 2packs? They definitely had series 3 2packs, I might have been wrong about them having series 2. Mindgames in Limeridge Mall had series 3 2packs as well, but they were 29.99.

I was in the TRU in Hamilton on Thursday and they had lots of the mattel WWE figures. Basics wave 1, 2 and 3 for 16.99, Wave 1, 2, and 3 2pcs for 24.99, plenty of the Force Flex figures but no Elites. MindGames, in the Limeridge Mall across the street, had Elite 3 John Cena and Shawn Michaels for 29.99 each.

Not liking the news on the Elite figures, given the two I want (Edge, Punk) aren't on the Canadian exclusive list. Over the weekend, I did see the Elite Mysterio and Undertaker at Zellars. They had the shelf price of 19.99, but when I scanned the Taker figure using the price checker, the price would not come up. I can't really confirm the price at 19.99 as I did not buy either figure.

Picked up DA 6 Rvd today at Walmart in Hamilton. They had the rest of DA 6 and a bunch of CS 12. Did they have any unmatched fury? Which Walmart, Eastgate or mountain? Yes, I believe that did and it was the Eastgate Walmart.

Hamilton TRU- picked up WM XIII series 3 RVD. They had restocked the TNA figures since I was there on Saturday, had all of series 3, 4, 5, both series 1 and 2 of two-packs as well as 6 sided ring with exclusive Styles figure. Also had Best of 2006 DA figures, Classics series 12 and rest of WM XIII series 3 figures, I got the last RVD. Toys 2 Go in Limeridge had RA 23 and lots of the AD 2-packs, including Burchill/Regal, Trish/Michaels and Booker T/Boogeyman.

Just saw the first ECW show on Global, no bad, but I noticed that there seemed a lack of "extreme wrestling" in the new Extreme Championship Wrestling brand. Maybe there will be some extreme rules matches next week and hopefully CM Punk wrestles. On the plus side, it did not seem that Global edited much of the show.

As I said it may be only available in certain areas. I know that there are certain channels, like RDS, which are available in Burlington but are not available where I live. Maybe Fight Network is one of those channels.

Friday at Midnight, they should not have to edit it. But, why Friday at midnight, why not Tuesday at midnight? Why the delay? By the sounds of the shows so far, it does not sound like they'll have much to edit anyway. And why August 11, why not tonight at midnight? The delay should not be necessary, we in Canada have already missed a month worth of shows already. We will finally get to see ECW in time for the WWE to cancel the show.
