Im wondering who carries elastic cord that is the same as ring ropes, looking to do different colors for my custom ring.
Also, looking for recommendations for bright paint that covers well and arent too expensive. I normally use simple acrylics that work for me just fine but brighter colors like yellow and orange are a pain the ass to do and they dont come out the way they should.

Id say get some additional panels for the backdrop and you can get some space for an entrance. Naparo's site has printouts for different entrance stages, including the classic neon one

wicked, that Marella proto is really something, seeing how parts are reused and repainted to build protos and mockups. very cool

I always wanted a scale TNA ring when i was younger, as cool as this one looks, i think the 20" one would suit Jakks a bit better. thats what i was thinking too once i started testing with figs lol hindsight is my middle name. Im gonna try starting on a 20" after the new year

id have to go with orton just becuase this mold is most ideal for a variety of custom figures. no shirt or pant molds, a basic canvas to build off of

Just finished my (hopefully) last big project, my six-sided scale ring. Took a while but I think it turned out pretty well, the only issue I'm noticing is I made the mat a little high off the ground which is easy enough to fix. I made it an 18" ring to try something different, with the Jakks figs it does seem a little small but that's how it is with bigger guys in a smaller ring compared to a 20 foot ring and im pretty sure TNA used an 18 footer. The only thing it needs is aprons and pads, I'm working on some Japanese-style turnbuckle pads and using some old black t-shirts for the aprons. Heres a shot of underneath the ring, im kind of proud of this part the chains will actually tighten up after the ropes are put on and keep the ring from caving in. I bought material for a cage but I'm considering making a 20" ring next so I may hold off on that, I'm sure 20" will be in better scale with my collection but i'm glad I managed to finally get this done. If I do I may consider selling this one, it may look a little better with Mattel figures.
