I have a glass case setup with multiple Ken Shamrock figures. One is a modified E52 to reflect his look from KOTR ‘98. I use that figure to have an ankle lock on someone (this figure gets swapped out to keep the display fresh. Currently the victim is King Mabel). I also have loose figures of both legends versions with both wearing either the IC title or tag team championship. I have a customized version of Shamrock in black trunks/black kick pads wearing his black entrance robe and a blue version in black shorts and a straight jacket. To finish the display, I have all released versions in original packaging with E52 bearing an autograph.

They made the one figure for which I patiently waited in Ken Shamrock (then again with a chase) and they are redistributing King Harley Race so I have no real complaints.

I’d like to have an updated Shamrock in the red tights, black red kick pads when he won King of the Ring. I’d have chosen to make that version over the green one.

Ken Shamrock. However, you could argue this and give him an interchangeable head with a relaxed facial scan, a straight jacket and some black shorts. Or give him two head scans and a black robe.

Just recently purchased figures again because of Legends Ken Shamrock but that announcement of King Harley Race will keep my Golden Era collection alive.

Anyone found an extra chase Shamrock and you’re willing to part with it?

I only collect 80’s and early 90’s figures. The biggest name missing from that era is Harley Race.

King Harley Race.
Gorilla Monsoon.
Neither made it to my area. Not even the scalpers got them.

I don’t have a lot of room to complain. I swore to the Wrestling Figure Gods if Mattel produced a Ken Shamrock I’d buy as much as I could along with some of his formidable opponents and I did just that. I’d love Dynamite Kid, I would. KoKo. Hercules. King Harley Race. All of them and more. But I got my Shamrock. Can’t complain.

I’m a huge WMIII nerd so I’d prefer his attire from that match but I’d take just about any figure of Koko. I’d haaaaaaate the High Energy choice but I’d buy it. He was always a character for whom I’d root.

I also don’t like warrior but I’ve only considered his work. Thankfully his career wasn’t too long Correct. His personal life had nothing to do with me. I just didn’t buy into him.

I can cut your budget by a third by directing you towards the King Harley Race figure.

If you are asking which outfit they should redo or which characters? Then I have two different answers. With WWE there is no way Rhonda Rousey deserved to be in Ultimate Edition form. Ronda was the biggest ticket in WWE at the time and they knew the UE line was coming so they wanted to make a giant splash with her first ring-ready figure. Bigger than the Elite line. It was just unfortunate their timing was off when the line was finally introduced. I thought her spot in UE was totally warranted with the accessories provided. But, you know, I’m biased. She’s the only UE figure I own.

I just think back (with hindsight goggles) and wish I had made certain purchases. The only time I walked away feeling unsure of not making a purchase is when Legends figures dropped and were easy to find. I had L5 Macho Man in hand but didn’t have a need for him as I didn’t collect wrestling figures. I put it back and left the store but couldn’t stop thinking about it so I turned around and bought it. That was my first Mattel WWE purchase.
“What other figures were on the shelf that day? Do you remember?”
Good question. Yeah, so, Rick Martel and Akeem were ready for me to take them home but I was enamored with Savage so much that he’s the only one leaving with me that day. I wasn’t starting a wrestling figure collection and that’s even not One Man Gang - I’ll just wait for Mattel to make that one if I’m gonna collect wrestling figures.
