This looks interesting if you manage to keep it up, not the biggest follower of PWG but no enough about the talented roster at your disposal.
You have my attention and I will be following and will post a more detailed response after a few more shows

WCW diaries are always fun too do. The first in depth diary I did was a WCW diary. I actually started it from the April Nitro when Russo and Bischoff took over. My diary went on in dairy time for about 3-4 years.
In that time I pushed Booker T, Scott Steiner, Goldberg and Lance Storm as the top acts with the next tier including Jerry Lynn, Big Vito, Chuck Palumbo while also rebuilding the Cruiserweight and Tag Team Divisions to a point where if a they headlined a Nitro it wasn't in common.
Reason I am telling you this is because reading your shows while they are good to read you aren't doing to much different. WCW was a mess but got decent towards the end. While you are putting on better shows nothing new is happening and no new stars are being made.
New WCW should be a place where Storm, Kanyon, O'Haire, Awesome, Mysterio and Helms were pushed to the top and the likes of Booker, Steiner and Goldberg established as the top acts while the likes of Hogan, Luger, Bagwell, DDP, Flair were either removed and or moved down the card.
The guys a 15 year old me decided to push may not have been the right guys but least they were fresh faces. While your shows are good they would be so much more enjoyable if you pushed some fresh faces towards the top.
Quickly looking at your roster you have done a good job with Goldberg and Steiner but that could have easily been Starrcade Main Event. Booker T is less of a star from when you started but it wouldn't take much to change that. The 3 of them could easily be joined by Shane Douglas, Storm, Awesome, Jarrett, DDP, Kanyon and along with the freshly turned Sting you have a great top line of talent while underneath then u could build up the next lot. Helms, Mysterio, Harris, Storm, AJ etc
But ultimately it's your show and I will carry on reading because it is good I would just rather some fresh faces in the Main Event

Another well put together show that is realistic and very easy to read. Of your 3 brands Raw is number 3 but that's not a knock on Raw....
Hell in a Cell is coming together nicely but another strong point of yours is you always put together a top PPV!
Raw thoughts...
Having 2 heel groups atop of each brand is a bit much in my opinion. Cody was doing well as the skin of your teeth World Champion.
Antonio Cesaro in my opinion has the potential to be the top heel on Smack Down for a while to come even more so than the current Champion, Cody Rhodes.
I think there is more upside in Barrett as a heel than a face but you did a good job with Barrett tonight. My prediction is team Jbl cost Barrett the title then Barrett turns his attention to the World title. Weirdly Barrett is more suited as a top face on Smack Down than on Raw.
One of my favourites are Hennig and DiBiase good team, both have potential. I would keep going with DiBiase and Hennig as champs but having them be the chasers is something different and you could use Reigns and Miz as the roadblocks.
The App interviews are very cool, nice touch!
Dolph Ziggler is starting to earn credibility with me as Champ but there is an issue with Ziggler and others I will get too at the end of the post.
Zack Ryder's stock has fell rapidly not that I blame you but he has just turned heel and he's not on Raw - My advice would be if you have more important stories current going on just give certain guys a time out, until you can do their story justice because at the minute Kofi & Ryder seem like an after thought and what momentum they did have is running out same goes for others like Evan Bourne.
Could of done without Truth and Otunga...
No Cena update? Unless I missed it?
Your Main Event segment with Punk and Lesnar was decent enough, predictable but that works. Lesnar took Punk down and looks strong and we want to see Punk get his revenge. The disadvantage your story has is no backstory with Heyman because Punk has been a face the entire time.
Good show that kept stories rolling over until the PPV...
Around this time of year fans minds start to wonder towards WrestleMania, mine does anyway and the only match that seems possible currently is Barrett-Rhodes for the World title and that may be way off. One small issue I have with your show and this is just my opinion is that no one seems more over than the other maybe Cena/Lesnar/Punk are just above the rest but the rest of the card no one stands out everyone seems on the same level, interchangeable. I would say you haven't created a star of your own other than Wrestling Royalty. Below the top 3 then I would say the next top tier would be Orton & Angle are arguable the next 2 which makes the rest of your roster feel like upper mid card at best.
I look forward to your next show and especially Hell in a Cell. Maybe you are in a transitional period and come Mania I will be able to seperate the top from the middle from the bottom a bit easier

TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay Per View 2 Hours Wednesday 04/09/2002 Nashville, Tennessee
TNA Champion; Christopher Daniels – 21/08/2002 won Gauntlet for the Gold
Tonight’s Card
Main Event; No Disqualification Match: James Storm V William Muellar Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett Jimmy Yang V Kid Kash Amazing Red V Sonny Siaki Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe) V Alan Funk & Chase Stevens Shark Boy V Jimmy Rave
TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling open…
Tonight first TNA Champion, ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels will learn who will be the first man to challenge him for his TNA Championship. Plus we will get an update on the condition of Low Ki and in the Main Event for the first time in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling history there will be no rules when James Storm takes on William Muellar in a No Disqualification Match!
Jeremy Borash as usual welcomed everyone to the latest TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling pay per view event. Speculation has been running wild all week over who will be announced as the Number One Contender to the TNA Championship and tonight we will find out who will be the first man to challenge TNA Champion, ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels!
Tonight’s Main Event; No Disqualification Match: James Storm V William Muellar!
Mike Tenay and Don West hyped tonight’s card which would be headlined by the first ever No Disqualification Match when James Storm looks for revenge against William Muellar plus Ron Killings takes on Jeff Jarrett but the big news tonight is we will find out who will be the first man to challenge ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels for the TNA Championship.
Match 1; Amazing Red V Sonny Siaki 20 Minute Time Limit
Match never took place; Amazing Red was in the ring waiting for Sonny Siaki to make his ring entrance when ‘The Monster’ Abyss stormed down the aisle with Jim Mitchell trailing behind him. Amazing Red never backed down and tried to take the fight to the much larger Abyss but Abyss avoided a baseball slide and tossed Red recklessly into the security railings.
Abyss took Red apart in the ring before leaving Red lying after his Shock Treatment and a Black Hole Slam. TNA officials and doctors were at ringside but Abyss only stopped his beating once Jim Mitchell gave Abyss word to stop. Mitchell demanded a microphone while Red was helped from ringside.
Result; No Contest
Jim Mitchell claimed that what just happened to Amazing Red lies on the head of AJ Styles! Mitchell claimed there would be more victims until AJ Styles faced up to his actions. Mitchell again called AJ a monster. Tonight the NO.1 Contender to the TNA Championship will be named and Mitchell warned AJ that if Abyss is not named the N0.1 Contender then AJ Styles will have hell to pay and if everyone things what just happened to Amazing Red was sadistic then they have not seen anything yet!!
Mike Tenay and Don West spoke about Abyss’ attack of Amazing Red and of Mitchell’s words for AJ Styles. AJ Styles will be here tonight!
Sonny Siaki’s music hit in the arena and Siaki made his way out which was confusing seeing as Amazing Red, Siaki’s opponent had just been carried out after a vicious attack by Abyss.
Siaki requested a microphone as Tenay and West gave Siaki credit for getting his head on straight, stopped with the ego which has seen an improvement in the ring with two big wins recently.
Sonny Siaki asked where Amazing Red was hiding. Siaki said he was out for his match but he doesn’t see Red anywhere. Siaki wanted a referee out here to declare Siaki the winner by forfeit. Fans booed as Tenay called Siaki ridiculous saying the match has been called off. Sonny Siaki hasn’t changed one bit. Siaki told the fans they were right to boo, boo Amazing Red because he has cost the fans the opportunity to enjoy themselves some Siaki!
Jeremy Borash was shown backstage, Borash apologized for the hectic start to the show. Borash would update everyone on Amazing Red’s condition once Borash knew. Borash also confirmed that Red-Siaki was cancelled and Siaki was not the winner via forfeit. Borash also had some breaking news under orders from Ricky Steamboat, Abyss and Jim Mitchell have been kicked out of the arena plus Steamboat has confirmed that while Abyss was under consideration to be NO.1 Contender to the TNA Title, Abyss will not be named the first challenger for the TNA Championship.
Match 2; Jimmy Yang V Kid Kash 20 Minute Time Limit
Kid Kash has dedicated this match to Joey Matthews because a few weeks back Jimmy Yang admitted that losing to Matthews was the low point of his career. Even though Kash attacked his onetime protégé Matthews a couple of weeks back Kash claims that he has Matthews’s best interests at heart.
Kid Kash beat Jimmy Yang via pin fall after Kash countered a Yang sunset flip by sitting down on Yang’s chest and grabbing hold of the middle rope for extra leverage unbeknown to the match official.
Winner; Kid Kash
Kid Kash took the easy way out to beat Jimmy Yang tonight. Joey Matthews is still to respond to Kid Kash’s recent actions. Will Matthews take the easy way out and side with Kash or will Joey Matthews stand up to his former teacher?
Ron Killings was having extra strapping put around his knee as a result of Monty Brown’s attack last week ahead of his match with Jeff Jarrett tonight as Jeremy Borash entered Killings locker room for a quick interview. Borash asked Killings if he was healthy and where Killings mind was tonight because Killings must have Jeff Jarrett, Monty Brown and the TNA Title on his mind…
Ron Killings told Borash that sometime soon Monty Brown is going to get got while tonight after Jeff Jarrett finally gets his that should put Killings in a strong position for a shot at the TNA title. Ron Killings told Borash that the TNA title is the focus, the main goal, but to achieve his dream Killings is willing to go through the roadblocks that are Monty Brown and Jeff Jarrett.
Tonight; Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett!
Tonight; Update on Low Ki!
Mike Tenay introduced Chris Harris who was waiting backstage with thoughts on possibly being named the N0.1 contender to the TNA Championship later tonight…
Chris Harris thanked Tenay and West for the time. Harris said TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling is only 12 weeks old and Harris honestly couldn’t imagine 12 weeks ago possibly being named the N0.1 contender to the TNA title. Harris shouldn’t even be a part of TNA; Harris believes he was only found by chance. TNA Management were in attendance the night Harris scored the biggest victory of his life over the great Curt Hennig. Chris Harris is here now and hard work has earned Harris the right to be in contention for a shot at the TNA Championship. Harris said tonight may or may not be his night but Harris at this point has done all he can however one day soon his night will come and Chris Harris will be the TNA Champion.
William Muellar was shown sitting outside of the arena chewing on tobacco before James Storm was shown sitting back in his locker room looking at a bottle of beer ahead of tonight’s No Disqualification Match. Tenay wondered if Storm was after a bit of dutch courage ahead of tonight’s Main Event.
Tonight’s Main Event: No Disqualification Match; James Storm V William Muellar!
Match 3; Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe) V Alan Funk & Chase Stevens 20 Minute Time Limit
Earlier today Alan Funk and Chase Stevens recorded a promo before tonight’s match. Funk again claimed to be the greatest Funk of all while Mark and Jay will always be in the shadow of Gerry and Gerald even though them two old fossils are best remembered for being a couple of stooges who sell dodgy motors. Funk introduced his new best friend Chase Stevens. Stevens looked down. Stevens said he can’t believe he has resorted to teaming with a clown like Alan Funk but the truth is that Chase Stevens will take every opportunity as it becomes and he will do whatever it takes to make a name for himself here in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger and Simon Diamond) were shown watching the match in the arena. TNA Management are still to announce when the first TNA Tag Team Champions will be crowned but management have made it clear they will not rush into the decision and are scouting the world for the greatest tag teams to bring into TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Briscoe Brothers beat Alan Funk and Chase Stevens via pin fall after Mark took Stevens out of the match after a running cannonball of the ring apron which allowed Jay to spike Funk with his J-Driver for the victory.
Winners; Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark Briscoe)
Briscoe Brothers the teenage brothers from Delaware with their most impressive performance to date here in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling, two tough kids who have a bright future ahead of them.
TNA Champion ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels was shown arriving at the arena. Daniels tonight will find out who TNA Management has named as the first challenger to his TNA Championship.
Up Next; Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett!
Video package aired looking at the history between Ron Killings and Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett holds three controversial victories over Ron Killings while Ron Killings cost Jeff Jarrett his chance at becoming the first TNA Champion by eliminating Jarrett from the Gauntlet for the Gold match…
Match 4; Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett 20 Minute Time Limit
Jeff Jarrett beat Ron Killings via submission after Killings tapped out to the Figure 4 leg lock. Killings wrestling on a bad knee seemed to have control of the match and caught Jarrett with his axe kick but before Killings could take advantage Elix Skipper was trying to get into the ring the match official was distracted by Skipper which allowed Monty Brown to sneak into the ring and for the second week in a row chop lock Killings already injured knee. Brown was quickly out of the ring and out of sight and Jarrett took advantage immediately by trapping Killings in the figure four and Killings had no choice but to tap out.
Winner; Jeff Jarrett
Ron Killings held his knee in agony after the match as Monty Brown and Elix Skipper were delighted with themselves. Mike Tenay claimed that Monty Brown the so called Alpha Male was taking it too far with his issue with Ron Killings. Brown may have seriously hurt Ron Killings tonight.
Jeff Jarrett celebrated his victory at ringside until Jarrett was stopped by Borash. Jarrett spoke before Borash could even speak. Jarrett asked how Ricky Steamboat could deny him now, Jarrett said there was no way Steamboat could deny him his shot at the TNA Championship now. Jeff Jarrett called himself the biggest star in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling, tonight Jarrett should be and will be named the N0.1 contender to the TNA title and very soon he will become the TNA Champion. Jarrett finished up by telling Ricky Steamboat to choke on that!
Video package aired looking at the men who may be considered the favourite to be named the N0.1 contender to the TNA title later tonight including Abyss, Jeff Jarrett, Chris Harris, Jerry Lynn, Ron Killings, James Storm, Low Ki and AJ Styles.
Mike Tenay and Don West said that video was made before tonight and now they know that Abyss is out of the running and it would seem Ron Killings thanks to Monty Brown is now also out of the running to be named the N0.1 contender to the TNA title and now everyone is going to find out whether or not Low Ki is also out of the running…
Jeremy Borash had an update on Low Ki but first a replay aired of Low Ki injured his knee and ankle. Christopher Daniels pushed Low Ki over the top rope and Low Ki landed awkwardly on his ankle and knee. Later in the match Daniels stomped on Low Ki’s already injured knee. Borash revealed that Low Ki would not need surgery which is good news but Low Ki would still be out of action for a number of weeks. Doctors have said Low Ki will be back before the end of the year and have told Low Ki if everything goes well enough he should be back mid-November, start of December. Borash wished Low Ki a speedy recovery and promised the fans more updates on Low Ki who was becoming a big favourite here in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Match 5; Shark Boy V Jimmy Rave 20 Minute Time Limit
Shark Boy and Jimmy Rave two young men who are looking for their first victories here in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Shark Boy may have momentum on his side after he shocked the world at Gauntlet for the Gold by eliminating former World Champion, Steve Corino.
Jimmy Rave beat Shark Boy via pin fall after Rave nailed a seated Shark Boy with a running knee to the face.
Winner; Jimmy Rave
Jimmy Rave rolled straight out of the ring and climbed upon the broadcast table and while standing over Tenay and West, Rave continuing to show his bad attitude leaned down into their faces screaming at the top of his lungs about his victory while the match official was ordering Rave down from the table. While this was going on Steve Corino rolled into the ring…
Steve Corino stood in one corner as Shark Boy with his back to Corino slowly started to get back to his feet. Tenay was telling Shark Boy to get out of the ring because Corino was an evil individual looking for revenge. Corino showing no emotion with his finger told Shark Boy to turn around but just as Shark Boy did Steve Corino seemed to stop, change his mind. Corino rubbed his face and shook his head before dropping and rolling out of the ring. Mike Tenay and Don West were shown about Steve Corino showing Shark Boy some compassion here tonight. What is going through the mind of Steve Corino? Mike Tenay introduced Jeremy Borash who was standing by backstage with AJ Styles…
Jeremy Borash standing beside AJ Styles thanked Tenay and Don West. Before speaking to AJ, Borash asked AJ watch a clip from earlier tonight. Abyss took out Amazing Red before Jim Mitchell threatened AJ Styles that there would be more victims until Abyss gets his revenge on AJ Styles. Borash asked for AJ’s thoughts before they speak about the TNA Championship.
AJ Styles told Borash that Jim Mitchell and Abyss are delusional if they believe Abyss is the victim here. AJ showed Abyss last week that he wasn’t scared of him and would not back down from him so Abyss wants a fight, AJ will give him a fight. Borash then asked AJ about possibly being named the N0.1 Contender to the TNA title later tonight.
AJ without hesitation said he should be named the N0.1 Contender to the TNA title because AJ believes he should be the TNA Champion right now and if it wasn’t for Christopher Daniels getting lucky AJ would be the TNA Champion. If Christopher Daniels wants to be taken serious as TNA Champion then Daniels needs to step up and prove it wasn’t lucky and to do that Christopher Daniels has to beat AJ Styles.
Up Next; Main Event: No Disqualification Match; James Storm V William Muellar…
James Storm and William Muellar who was carrying his blanket were both shown in their street clothes ahead about to head out from their locker rooms ahead of tonight’s Main Event.
Match 6 Main Event NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH James Storm V William Muellar 30 Minute Time Limit
William Muellar broke a Singapore cane over James Storm’s head and immediately Storm’s head started gushing of blood. Storm was busted wide open…
James Storm beat William Muellar via pin fall after a bloody and battered Storm caught Muellar with a Super Kick. Ring was covered with objects including the cane, a table, a beer bottle and Muellar’s sheet. Storm could barely stand and Muellar tried to take advantage by covering Storm again under his sheet but Storm managed to flip the sheet over Muellar’s head. Storm grabbed the beer bottle quickly and then pulled the sheet from Muellar’s head. Muellar confused as to where Storm was turned straight into a beer bottle being smashed over his head. Storm couldn’t capitalize and collapsed next to Muellar. Storm and Muellar slowly got back to their feet and Storm managed to catch Muellar on the chin with his Super Kick and this time Storm was able to cover Muellar for the victory.
Winner; James Storm
Fans were on their feet for their home town boy James Storm who has managed to finally get William Muellar out of his system but it may have come at a price because Storm could barely stand. Storm fell into the ropes after having his hand raised in victory. Storm’s face was still a bloody mess.
Officials stayed close to James Storm as Storm stumbled back up the aisle falling on a couple of occasions. James Storm now has a 7-2 personal record and besides not winning the Gauntlet for the Gold match, Storm’s other loss came at the hands of TNA Champion, Christopher Daniels. Has James Storm done enough to earn a rematch against Christopher Daniels? Up next we will find out who has been named the N0.1 Contender to the TNA Championship.
Mike Tenay and Don West were shown at ringside to announce that the next time TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling will be on Pay Per View will be in 2 weeks on Wednesday 18th September, 2002.
Jeremy Borash and Ricky Steamboat were shown making their way into the ring about to announce who would be named the N0.1 Contender to the TNA Championship. Steamboat was holding the contract which Christopher Daniels and his challenger will sign in a matter of moments…
Ricky Steamboat stood back in the corner as Jeremy Borash introduced the first TNA Champion, ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels…
Christopher Daniels walked out on to the stage wearing a nice suite holding his TNA title proudly. Daniels arrogantly made his way down the aisle as Tenay and West reminded everyone that Christopher Daniels won a Gauntlet for the Gold match 2 weeks ago to become the first TNA Champion. Daniels entered the ring as Borash went to hand Steamboat the microphone but Daniels called for Borash to stop and demanded Borash handed him the microphone first. Christopher Daniels told Borash to show him more respect and went the Champion wants to talk the Champion talks and Rick y Steamboat will have to wait. Daniels told Borash for his disrespect to get out of his ring. Borash obliged. Christopher Daniels stepped up to Steamboat and told him that it doesn’t matter who Steamboat and TNA Management have made the N0.1 Contender to his TNA title because as Daniels reminded everyone 2 weeks ago he beat the entire TNA roster to become the TNA Champion! Daniels again denied it being lucky that he was standing in front of Steamboat as TNA Champion. Daniels is brilliant and a gift from God. Steamboat asked and received the microphone from the ‘Fallen Angel’…
Ricky Steamboat asked Daniels to take a few steps back. Steamboat again congratulated Christopher Daniels on becoming the first TNA Champion but warned Daniels the hard work starts now because while there are a lot of rewards being Champion, Daniels will find it is harder to stay Champion than it is to become Champion. Making the decision on who would be the named the first N0.1 Contender wasn’t the easiest decision there are a number of worthy contenders to Daniels’ title, Daniels shook his head to that statement. Steamboat announced that TNA Management finally made up their mind and the man who will face Christopher Daniels for the TNA Championship will be… Jerry Lynn!
Christopher Daniels wasn’t happy as Jerry Lynn’s music hit in the arena and Lynn made his way down the aisle and into the ring. Steamboat ran through Lynn’s achievements. Jerry Lynn is a former World Champion at in two different weight classes and two different companies. Lynn has travelled the world and beaten the best. Steamboat told Daniels that Lynn wasn’t just chosen of his past achievements. Jerry Lynn in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling has won 2 Main Events against Steve Corino and AJ Styles. Jerry Lynn is yet to be pinned or made to submit and Jerry Lynn had the best time in the Gauntlet for the Gold match.
Christopher Daniels still wasn’t happy with the announcement and paced around the ring. Steamboat wants to test Christopher Daniels against the best and that’s what Jerry Lynn is. Lynn and Steamboat shook hands before Lynn took the microphone from Steamboat. Jerry Lynn told Christopher Daniels that Lynn made it clear that chasing the TNA title was giving his butterflies in his stomach being the Champion excited Lynn. Lynn admitted that Daniels was brilliant and maybe a gift from God but Lynn has a dream to become the TNA Champion and Lynn has already failed once so when they meet the middle of the this ring for the TNA Championship, Jerry Lynn will not fail again and will become the TNA Champion.
Ricky Steamboat had hold of a second microphone and asked Lynn and Daniels to sign the contract to make it official which Lynn did without hesitation, Daniels was a bit slower to sign as Daniels was signing Steamboat announced that in 2 weeks on the next TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling both Jerry Lynn and Christopher Daniels will be in action. Daniels also wasn’t happy about that announcement.
Ricky Steamboat made it official that TNA Champion, ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels will make his first title defence against Jerry Lynn. Daniels got in Lynn’s face and held up the TNA title of mic Daniels was talking trash to Lynn before pushing Lynn in the face so Lynn quickly lifted Daniels over his shoulders for his TKO but Daniels panicked and quickly managed to get out of the ring. Latest Pay Per View from TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling went off the air with Jerry Lynn standing tall in the ring as TNA Champion, Christopher Daniels backed away up the aisle.

TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay Per View 2 Hours Wednesday 28/08/2002 Nashville, Tennessee
TNA Champion; Christopher Daniels – 21/08/2002 won Gauntlet for the Gold
Tonight’s Card
Main Event; AJ Styles V Steve Corino Jerry Lynn and Ron Killings V Elix Skipper and Jeff Jarrett Jimmy Yang V Sonny Siaki Chris Harris V Jimmy Rave Amazing Red V Mamaluke w. Romeo Chase Stevens V William Muellar
TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling open…
Jeremy Borash welcomed everyone to the latest Pay per View from TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. The biggest story in wrestling at this moment in time is that last week ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels became the first TNA Champion the world is talking about it and tonight we would hear from Christopher Daniels.
Still shots in slow motion aired from the closing moments of the Gauntlet for the Gold match last week showing Christopher Daniels foot land on the bottom ring step saving Daniels from elimination. Christopher Daniels sneak back in to eliminate AJ Styles when AJ, Low Ki and the fans had thought it had come down to AJ Styles V Low Ki to crown the first TNA Champion. Low Ki got hurt, injured his knee after Daniels pushed Low Ki over the top rope to the floor. Daniels eventually put Low Ki away with his Angel Wings to make history and become the first TNA Champion.
Tonight; TNA Champion, ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels!
Fireworks went off around the arena before we joined Mike Tenay and Don West at ringside. Tenay and West started off by congratulating ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels on becoming the first TNA Champion. Mike Tenay and Don West hyped tonight’s show which would see two big Main Events (AJ Styles V Steve Corino & Jerry Lynn and Ron Killings V Elix Skipper and Jeff Jarrett) plus we would hear from Kid Kash tonight and Kash would explain why he attacked his protégé Joey Matthews.
Tonight’s Main Event; AJ Styles V Steve Corino!
Up Next; Jerry Lynn and Ron Killings V Elix Skipper and Jeff Jarrett…
Jeremy Borash was backstage with Jeff Jarrett ahead of tonight’s opening match. Jarrett wasn’t happy. Borash asked Jarrett how he felt after failing to become the first TNA Champion. Jarrett called Borash’s question stupid. Jarrett also accused Jerry Lynn and Ron Killings of being the reason he is not the TNA Champion. Jarrett has already on multiple occasions put Killings in his place and will do again but tonight would prove to any one who doubts otherwise that he and not Jerry Lynn is the biggest star in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Borash stopped Jarrett before Jarrett left and Borash asked Jarrett if he had an opinion or any comment on Christopher Daniels becoming the first TNA Champion. Jarrett said if he wasn’t champion then all he cares about was that AJ Styles was not champion. Jarrett was over the moon that Ricky Steamboat’s hand picked guy never become the first TNA Champion once again AJ Styles took his eye of the ball, once again AJ failed in front of the world. AJ Styles had a chance to make a name for himself had a chance to prove that he hasn’t been handed everything here in TNA by Steamboat and once again AJ Styles showed that he is nothing more than a loser and like Steamboat said a few weeks back the cream rises to the top here in TNA and AJ Styles is starting to sink to the bottom.
Match 1; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Jerry Lynn and Ron Killings V Elix Skipper and Jeff Jarrett
Footage was shown from Gauntlet for the Gold last week of Jerry Lynn lasting longer than any other man in the match before being eliminated by ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels also shown was Ron Killings eliminating Jeff Jarrett, Elix Skipper and Monty Brown before being eliminated by Abyss.
Mike Tenay reported that ‘Alpha Male’ Monty Brown was not at arena tonight.
Monty Brown came through the crowd during the match to attack Ron Killings at ringside from behind. Brown dropped Killings with a chop lock to the back of Killings left knee. Match official didn’t see Brown’s attack because it would have resulted in an immediate disqualification. Dangerous move from Monty Brown which could have seriously injured Ron Killings…
Jerry Lynn and Ron Killings beat Elix Skipper and Jeff Jarrett via pin fall after Lynn pinned Skipper after Skipper and Jarrett tried to work together but Lynn pushed Skipper into Jarrett knocking Jarrett off the ring apron allowing Lynn to surprise Skipper with a roll up for the win.
Winners; Jerry Lynn and Ron Killings
Jerry Lynn rolled straight out of the ring after the pin fall. Elix Skipper shot up in shock. Monty Brown rolled into the ring and wasn’t happy with Skipper as Brown and Skipper argued with the match official Jeff Jarrett stood up at ringside. Jarrett didn’t look happy and he and Brown caught one another’s eye which calmed Monty Brown down who then calmed Elix Skipper down. Don West said Monty Brown calls himself a business man and Brown knows at this stage of his career it is smarter to have Jeff Jarrett on his side then against him.
Jerry Lynn celebrated with a limping Ron Killings at ringside. Monty Brown may have got a shot in on Killings tonight but it was Ron Killings thanks to Jerry Lynn who has come away with what matters the most the victory.
Footage was shown of Low Ki being stretchered out of the arena last week as Mike Tenay introduced Jeremy Borash who was standing by with an update on the condition of Low Ki who was close to becoming the first TNA Champion…
Jeremy Borash revealed that doctors at this early stage can confirm that Low Ki has suffered ligament damage to both his knee and ankle but doctors are not sure whether they will need to operate at this time because of how bad the swelling to both areas is. Borash announced that at this minute Low Ki would be out a minimum of 6 weeks but depending on whether Low Ki needs surgery or not Low Ki could be out for a number of months.
‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels the first TNA Champion was shown arriving at the arena earlier today in a limousine.
Match 2; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Amazing Red V Mamaluke w. Romeo
Amazing Red beat Mamaluke via pin fall after Red spiked Mamaluke with his Satellite DDT and finished Mamaluke off with his Code Red.
Winner; Amazing Red
Amazing Red now has a 5-1 record and has impressed over the weeks but it now remains to be seen whether Amazing Red can join the top tier of TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Jeremy Borash was standing by backstage. Borash has tried to get a word with Steve Corino ahead of tonight’s main event but Corino closed a door in his face. Borash will however speak with Corino’s opponent AJ Styles after the next match.
Highlights aired from the Gauntlet for the Gold match last week highlighting the dominant performance of ‘The Monster’ Abyss. Abyss eliminated 7 men Chase Stevens, Mark Briscoe, Ron Killings, Amazing Red, Shark Boy, Jimmy Rave and Chris Harris before being eliminated by AJ Styles…
Abyss was shown standing by backstage before Jim Mitchell stepped in front of his monster to speak. Jim Mitchell told the world a few weeks back that it doesn’t matter how big you are or how much you weigh all you need to be a monster is a black heart and be able to show no remorse and last week AJ Styles showed the world that he too is a monster. AJ Styles from behind like a coward in the night snuck up behind and eliminated Abyss last week costing the most deserving of his place in history as the first TNA Champion. Jim Mitchell warned AJ that he has made an enemy in Abyss and now AJ must and will pay and will pay before the night is over. Mitchell told AJ Styles that there is only one way to kill a monster and that is to tear its head off.
Mike Tenay and Don West spoke at ringside, they were worried for AJ Styles now Abyss and Jim Mitchell have threatened AJ and they are promising to make AJ Styles pay tonight for costing Abyss the TNA Championship.
Tonight; TNA Champion, ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels!
Match 3; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Jimmy Yang V Sonny Siaki
Mike Tenay spoke with Ricky Steamboat earlier today and Steamboat told Tenay that both Jimmy Yang and Sonny Siaki are two talents that TNA management believes have a lot of potential.
Sonny Siaki beat Jimmy Yang via pin fall after Siaki tripped Yang on the ring apron causing Yang to land hard on the back of his head which set Yang up perfectly once Yang had rolled back in the ring for Siaki’s Siakalypse running neckbreaker.
Winner; Sonny Siaki
Sonny Siaki with the victory which could be considered an upset over the more experienced Jimmy Yang; Mike Tenay claimed the victory to be the biggest victory of Sonny Siaki’s career. Don West praised Siaki on taking a few weeks off to go away and re focus.
AJ Styles was standing by backstage with Jeremy Borash. Borash told AJ if he didn’t already know that tonight Jeff Jarrett has once again called AJ Styles a failure while Jim Mitchell has threatened that tonight Abyss will make AJ Styles pay for costing Abyss the TNA Championship. Borash asked AJ how he feels when he tells him that when AJ also has to deal with the fact that he thought last week he had eliminated Christopher Daniels and it was down to him and Low Ki to crown the first TNA Champion before being eliminated by Christopher Daniels, plus on top of all that AJ Styles tonight will be in the Main Event against former World Heavyweight Champion, Steve Corino.
AJ Styles told Borash that Jeff Jarrett likes to run his mouth when the truth is Jeff Jarrett hasn’t proven anything to anybody himself yet since TNA opened its doors. Jeff Jarrett is living of past achievements. AJ heard about Abyss’ threat and AJ wants Abyss to know that AJ won’t be hiding from him and if they have an issue AJ will step up to Abyss like a man. AJ stopped before addressing Christopher Daniels. AJ slowed down and got real serious when he told Borash that last week he was shocked that Christopher Daniels some how got back in the ring to eliminate him. AJ was convinced that Christopher Daniels must have cheated but when AJ seen the tape AJ realizes that Christopher Daniels just got lucky. AJ can’t put it down to anything else it was sheer luck that Daniels foot landed on the ring step. AJ admitted to getting angry just thinking about it but told Borash that he is focused now on getting his shot at the TNA Championship and to do that AJ has to win the big matches and there aint many bigger than a Main Event against a former World Heavyweight Champion. Tonight AJ Styles will beat Steve Corino a move one step closer to earning his shot at the TNA Championship.
Tonight’s Main Event; AJ Styles V Steve Corino!
Jeremy Borash was now standing in the middle of the ring. Borash asked the fans to welcome the first ever TNA Champion… ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels!
Christopher Daniels walked out on to the stage dressed in a smart black suite with black shirt and shades while holding his TNA Championship. Daniels showed off his TNA title as he made his way down the aisle ignoring the fans as Daniels made his way into the ring where Borash was waiting. Christopher Daniels met Jeremy Borash in the middle of the ring Borash offered his hand to Daniels but Daniels just took the microphone.
Christopher Daniels with his hand motioned for Jeremy Borash to get out of the ring. Daniels told the fans to be quiet and to listen to every word that comes out of his mouth because everything Christopher Daniels’ says is the truth. Daniels proved he’s a man of his word when he told he would make history and become the first TNA Champion. Daniels made everyone else on the TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling roster look like fools and liars because they all claimed they would become the first TNA Champion. What hurt Daniels more than anything was that Daniels claim was the one that was ignored, laughed at and Daniels was seen as an outsider at best but it was Daniels who beat the entire TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling roster to do something that could never be done again and that was make history by become the first TNA Champion. Some people have labeled the ‘Fallen Angel’ lucky because Daniels foot landed on the ring step and not the floor. Christopher Daniels wanted to everyone to hear that what happened there was not luck it was his genius, Daniels believes that there are still people out there who do not respect or under estimate just how good he is so Christopher Daniels will remind everyone one more time that last week Christopher Daniels beat the entire TNA roster including former World Heavyweight Champions, Jerry Lynn, Steve Corino, Jeff Jarrett, including ‘The Monster’ Abyss and including TNA’s hand picked golden boy AJ Styles plus Daniels not only beat Low Ki but Daniels sent Low Ki to the hospital and the fans may never see Low Ki again to become the first TNA Champion.
Christopher Daniels next week will find out who is first challenger to his TNA title will be but the truth is that it doesn’t matter who is selected because there is no man on the TNA roster who can beat him there is no man on the TNA roster who can take his TNA title. Christopher Daniels reminded the fans that the words that come out of his mouth are the words of the ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels, God’s gift to the professional wrestling business and the first ever TNA Champion!
Mike Tenay and Don West ran over Christopher Daniels words as the first TNA Champion left the ring. Tenay and West noted how confident Christopher Daniels was and rightfully so after winning the Gauntlet for the Gold match last to become the first TNA Champion. Tenay and West wondered who would be named the first Number one contender to the TNA title next week.
Match 4; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Chris Harris V Jimmy Rave
Mike Tenay and Don West noticed during the match that some fans were booing Chris Harris this is a result of Harris eliminating James Storm from their hometown hero James Storm from the Gauntlet for the Gold match last week.
Chris Harris beat Jimmy Rave via tap out after Harris locked Rave in his Texas clover leaf and Rave had no choice but to tap out.
Winner; Chris Harris
Chris Harris responded well from being booed for the first time in his career which must have been difficult plus Harris also rebounded well from suffering his first defeat in TNA last week. Chris Harris with 9 victories may be in with a shot at being named the number one contender to the TNA title next week.
Jimmy Rave again threw a tantrum at ringside after the match. Officials came out to order Rave backstage but Rave was screaming at everyone and ignoring their orders until finally making his own way backstage.
Mike Tenay used Jimmy Rave’s bad attitude as a way to introduce footage of Kid Kash debuting in TNA a couple of weeks back where Kash shocked a lot of people by attacking his protégé Joey Matthews. Footage was shown of this as Tenay spoke about the attack. Tenay introduced a recorded interview with Kid Kash where Kash explained why he attacked Joey Matthews.
Kid Kash has always looked out for Joey Matthews for some reason since day one since the first day they met Kash has always had a soft spot for Matthews and has wanted to help Matthews and Kash has always tried to help Matthews, Kash took Matthews under his wing and taught him the ropes. Joey Matthews can not be happy with how his career is going. Joey Matthews has lost more matches than anyone else on the roster. Joey Matthews is not respected by TNA management in Kash’s opinion. Matthews is used as the guy who can come out slap hands with the fans put a smile on the fans face but then get their butt kicked or even if/when Matthews was to win it would mean nothing. Kash said there is nothing more disrespectful than being placed in that role and Kash should no because he was put in that position in ECW and it has turned Kash bitter and he will not let Matthews fall into that trap. Jimmy Yang called losing to Joey Matthews the low point of his career. Kash continued that Matthews who decided to walk away from a very promising tag team to fulfill his dream of becoming a singles Champion was thrown into a tag team with Chase Stevens as an afterthought. Joey Matthews has accepted all of this and did nothing about it and that turned Kash’s stomach so 2 weeks ago Kash debuted and he hoped he taught Matthews a lesson he hopes that being attacked by the one man he thought he could trust would open Joey Matthews eyes and together they could go on and make history by becoming the first TNA Tag Team Champions but to do that Joey Matthews has to let his emotions his bitterness and anger take over then there will be no stopping the two of them. Kid Kash finished up by saying everything he has ever done has been for Joey Matthews own good.
Mike Tenay and Don West were a little freaked out by Kid Kash’s comments, Tenay has never seen or heard of this bitterness that has clearly been eating Kid Kash. We would have to wait and see whether Joey Matthews will forgive Kash and form a tag team or will Joey Matthews stand up for himself and start creating his own path.
Jeremy Borash was backstage to hype next week’s Pay per View. Next week the number one contender to ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels TNA Championship will be named. Plus signed during tonight’s match next week we would see Ron Killings take on Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett holds three questionable victories over Killings while it was Killings that eliminated Jarrett from the Gauntlet for the Gold match. Also next week TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wresting would make history when for the first time we would see a match with no rules when in the Main Event, Nashville’s favorite son ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm takes on William Muellar in a No Disqualification match. Up next William Muellar will be in action…
Match 5; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Chase Stevens V William Muellar
William Muellar came out for the match again carrying his black sheet which Muellar has been using to blind his victims before attacking. James Storm was William Muellar’s first victim…
‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm was shown during the match watching backstage it seemed Storm was struggling to stay backstage wanting to get his hands on William Muellar.
William Muellar beat Chase Stevens via count out after Muellar ran Stevens off the ring apron sending Stevens crashing into the security railings. Stevens tried to beat the count but Stevens couldn’t even get back to his feet so was unable to get back into the ring to beat the crowd.
Winner; William Muellar
William Muellar stood tall in the middle of the ring as Mike Tenay and Don West recklessly and viciously sent Chase Stevens into the security railings showing no remorse for Stevens well being. Muellar leaned over the ropes and laughed as the match official was checking on Chase Stevens.
James Storm slid into the ring and tackled William Muellar. Storm got in a few shots on Muellar before Muellar managed to roll out of the ring. Storm was worked up and went out after Muellar but as Storm jumped off the ring apron Muellar kicked Storm in between the legs dropping James Storm. Muellar leaned down towards Storm and told a hurting Storm that Storm never seen that coming while TNA never saw William Muellar coming.
Next Week; Main Event; No Disqualification Match: James Storm V William Muellar!
Next Week; Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett!
Next Week; Number one Contender to the TNA Championship will be named
Up Next; Tonight’s Main Event; AJ Styles V Steve Corino…
Match 6; Main Event Time Limit; 30 Minutes AJ Styles V Steve Corino
AJ Styles beat Steve Corino via pin fall after Styles got control of the match hitting Corino with a springboard flying forearm, Pele kick, moonsault into DDT before finishing Corino off with his Styles Clash. AJ Styles was very impressive tonight maybe more focused than ever and it led to AJ beating Steve Corino like Corino was any ordinary wrestler not a former World Heavyweight Champion.
Winner; AJ Styles
AJ Styles had his hand raised in victory when instantly Abyss’ music hit in the arena and seconds later ‘The Monster’ Abyss was storming down the aisle being led by Jim Mitchell and followed by a number of TNA’s security team…
AJ Styles stood his ground in the ring and was waiting for Abyss. Mike Tenay and Don West were both advising AJ Styles to get out of the ring even some of the fans looked concerned. Abyss stepped on to the ring apron only for AJ to bring the fight to Abyss. AJ with a baseball slide to Abyss’ feet which dropped Abyss of the ring apron and Abyss’ head bounced of the apron. AJ with a springboard shooting star press from inside of the ring to the outside landing on and flooring Abyss. AJ Styles landed right on Abyss’ chest AJ nailed Abyss with a number of shots before rolling back into the ring. Fans were going mental because AJ Styles had got the better of ‘The Monster’ Abyss.
Pay per View went off the air with security struggling to keep back a raging Abyss at ringside while AJ Styles stood tall in the middle of the ring challenging Abyss to a fight.

Abyss lifted Low Ki above his head looking to press slam Low Ki over the top rope to the floor like he had done to Sabu, Chase Stevens and Jimmy Rave but Low Ki locked his legs around Abyss’ head and grabbed hold of the top rope. Low Ki pulled with everything he had trying to pull Abyss over the top rope. Low Ki had to be careful because Low Ki was also hanging over the top rope. Abyss was starting to struggle and panic as he tipped over the top rope; Jim Mitchell was at ringside screaming at Abyss to break free of the hold. Fans were on their feet, Abyss’ feet left the mat, Abyss was really starting to panic now but Abyss managed to pull apart Low Ki’s legs only for AJ Styles to drop kick Abyss in the back of the head knocking Abyss over the top rope to the floor as Low Ki landed on the ring apron.
Elimination; Abyss by AJ Styles
Fans were going mental celebrating the fact that not only had Abyss been eliminated but they believed it was now down to AJ Styles V Low Ki to become the first TNA Champion. Abyss and Jim Mitchell were fuming outside of the ring the match officials and more TNA staff was cautious trying to get Abyss away from ringside but eventually Jim Mitchell convinced Abyss to leave.
AJ Styles and Low Ki locked on eyes, Low Ki lying on the apron and AJ standing in the ring. AJ motioned for Low Ki to get back into the ring and also signaled for the TNA Championship when Christopher Daniels hit AJ from behind with a running knee to the back sending AJ into the ropes. AJ was shocked and before AJ could react Daniels dumped AJ Styles over the top rope and both feet hit the floor.
Elimination; AJ Styles by Christopher Daniels

AJ Styles was up at ringside and wasn’t happy, AJ was confused because AJ believed he had eliminated Daniels earlier and tried to explain himself to the match official. AJ was having a hard time believing that Christopher Daniels had not been eliminated. Ricky Steamboat was standing at ringside speaking to one of the match officials who explained to Steamboat that Daniels had not been eliminated. AJ Styles eventually left ringside but AJ Styles must feel like has been robbed out of the opportunity to fight for the TNA Championship. Either ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels or Low Ki would become the first ever TNA Champion…

Low Ki couldn’t put any weight on his foot and could barely stand but Low Ki wouldn’t give in even though Daniels targeted Low Ki’s injury for the remainder of the match but in the end Daniels managed to put Low Ki away with his Angels Wings to make history and become the first TNA Champion.
Christopher Daniels dropped to his knees at the bell in celebration of becoming the first TNA Champion. Daniels had his hand raised in victory as Mike Tenay and Don West congratulated Christopher Daniels on shocking the world by becoming the first TNA Champion. Tenay claimed that Daniels had some luck along the way but there was no denying that Christopher Daniels the fact that he is the first TNA Champion.
Doctors were immediately down to the ring to check on Low Ki who had rolled out of the ring. Low Ki was in agony holding his left knee. Fans applauded Low Ki’s effort as Mike Tenay wished Low Ki a speedy recovery.
Christopher Daniels stood in the middle of the ring waiting for Ricky Steamboat to present him the TNA title belt. Ricky Steamboat checked on Low Ki before joining Daniels in the middle of the ring. Daniels was telling Steamboat he was the first TNA Champion as Steamboat held out the TNA title. Christopher Daniels told Ricky Steamboat he wanted Steamboat to strap the title around Daniels’ waist. Ricky Steamboat did without any hesitation showing respect to the new TNA Champion while Daniels was getting great satisfaction from having Steamboat strap the title around his waist. Once Ricky Steamboat and strapped the TNA title around Christopher Daniels waist Steamboat offered his hand to Daniels in a sign of respect but Daniels just laughed in Steamboat’s face showing Ricky Steamboat no respect and showing that Daniels has no class.
Fireworks went off and confetti fell from the ceiling as ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels continued to celebrate becoming the first TNA Champion.
Low Ki was shown sitting on a stretcher being rolled back up the aisle. Low Ki who had his head lowered in shame will hopefully not be out of action to long and back before we know it challenging for the TNA Championship.
Jeremy Borash was shown backstage. Borash was waiting for a word with the first TNA Champion ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels. Borash congratulated Daniels on his historic achievement. Borash while waiting for Daniels hyped a couple of things we would see over the next few weeks. Next week Ron Killings and Jerry Lynn would team up to take on Elix Skipper and Jeff Jarrett. Two weeks time in a No Disqualification Match we would see ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm face William Muellar. As for the new TNA Champion, Christopher Daniels next week we would hear his celebration speech then the week after we would find out the number one contender to the TNA Championship and then the week after that in 3 weeks time the first TNA Champion, Christopher Daniels would be in action against an opponent yet to be named…
Christopher Daniels with the TNA title now over his shoulder and a bottle of champagne in his hand joined Jeremy Borash. Borash congratulated Christopher Daniels on making history and becoming the first TNA Champion. Borash asked the ‘Fallen Angel’ for his thoughts. Daniels did all of his told you so and bragging last week but Daniels right now just wants to say that tonight he made everyone on the TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling roster look like fools and liars. Daniels stood back and listened as everyone claimed it would be them that made history and became the first TNA Champion while Daniels always knew it would be him and now no one can take it away from him Christopher Daniels is the first TNA Champion. Christopher Daniels claimed that he is a man of his word, he is a gift from God, he is the ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels and now he is the first ever TNA Champion!
Christopher Daniels left Jeremy Borash so Daniels could do more celebrating. Borash thanked the fans for joining TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling tonight on this historic night where Christopher Daniels made history and became the first TNA Champion.
Still shots aired from tonight’s Pay per View highlighting some of the major happenings during the Gauntlet for the Gold match including Ron Killings eliminating Elix Skipper, Monty Brown and Jeff Jarrett. Abyss’s domination and Chris Harris eliminating James Storm was shown as was Jerry Lynn lasting over 40 minutes. AJ Styles believing he had eliminated Christopher Daniels only for Daniels’ foot to land on the ring step. Low Ki almost eliminating Abyss and AJ Styles then eliminating Abyss. Christopher Daniels coming back into the ring to eliminate AJ Styles from the match. Low Ki V Christopher Daniels for the TNA Championship. Low Ki injuring his knee after being pushed over the top rope to the floor by Daniels. Christopher Daniels pinning Low Ki after his Angel Wings to become the first TNA Champion. Low Ki being stretchered away from ringside, Ricky Steamboat strapping the TNA title around Christopher Daniels waist and Daniels celebrating with his TNA title was the last images shown as the 10th TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay per View went off the air.

TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay Per View 2 Hours Wednesday 14/08/2002 Nashville, Tennessee
Tonight’s Card
Main Event; Low Ki V Ron Killings James Storm V Christopher Daniels Joey Matthews & Kid Kash V Smooth Stallions (Mamaluke & Romeo) Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe) V Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond) Amazing Red V Chase Stevens Shark Boy V Sonny Siaki
Wednesday 21st August, 2002; TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling; TNA Championship: Gauntlet for the Gold!!
TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling open…
26th June, 2002 Jeremy Borash announced that on Wednesday 21st August, 2002 TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling will crown its first TNA Champion when the entire roster will compete in a Gauntlet for the Gold match. Last week Chris Harris not only beat Steve Corino but made Corino tap out in the middle of the ring. Jeff Jarrett beat Jimmy Yang, Monty Brown and Jim Mitchell on behalf of ‘The Monster’ Abyss both vowed to become the first TNA Champion. Ricky Steamboat denied favoring AJ Styles but admitted to wanting to give fresh, new talent an opportunity. Jerry Lynn beat AJ Styles in the Main Event after Jeff Jarrett interfered and dropped Styles with his Stroke. Ricky Steamboat got in Jarrett’s face after the match unhappy with Jarrett ruining a great Main Event. Lynn realizing that Jarrett had helped him win the Main Even also went for Jarrett only to be held back by the match official and Ricky Steamboat. AJ Styles lay in the ring watching as everything kicked off outside of the ring as the Pay per View went off the air.
Fireworks went off in the arena before we joined Jeremy Borash standing on the stage. Borash welcomed everyone to the penultimate Pay per View before Gauntlet for the Gold next week where the first TNA Champion will be crowned. Borash announced that tonight in the middle of the ring he would separately speak with two of the favorites to become the first TNA Champion, the two men who were apart of last weeks Main Event, AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn.
Tonight’s Main Event; Low Ki V Ron Killings!
Tonight; James Storm V Christopher Daniels!
Mike Tenay and Don West were shown at ringside; Tenay welcomed the fans to the show. Tenay hyped tonight’s huge double Main Event. Plus we would see the debut of Kid Kash who has requested tonight that he gets to team up with his long time friend Joey Matthews. Tenay repeated that tonight Jeremy Borash would speak to both AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn separately and we would hear from AJ Styles after tonight’s opening match.
Match 1; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Shark Boy V Sonny Siaki
Mike Tenay and Don West spoke about Sonny Siaki as Siaki made his way out for tonight’s opening match against Shark Boy. Siaki over the last few weeks has been in action before the TNA Pay per Views has gone on the air. Siaki has been improving his talent against local talent. Siaki has used this time to regain his confidence after making a slow start to his TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling career…
Sonny Siaki beat Shark Boy via pin fall after Siaki caught Shark Boy with his running corkscrew neckbreaker which Siaki calls Siakalypse.
Winner; Sonny Siaki
Sonny Siaki grabbed a microphone from ringside after the match. Siaki demanded the fans forgot every image they had of Sonny Siaki because the Siaki that stands here tonight is not the same man that everyone has seen before. What the fans see before them tonight is a better version and what the fans see before them tonight is a man who next week will shock the world when he wins Gauntlet for the Gold and becomes the first TNA Champion and then everyone will have no choice but to enjoy Siaki.
Footage was shown from throughout today of Low Ki, Christopher Daniels, James Storm and Ron Killings arrived at the arena ahead of tonight’s headline attractions.
Video package aired looking at Steve Corino. Corino a former World Heavyweight Champion has not had the greatest of times as of yet in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Corino has shown how dangerous he can be by knocking out Jimmy Yang but without question Corino’s low points have been losing to Jerry Lynn and last week when Steve Corino was made to tap out in the middle of the ring by Chris Harris. Can Steve Corino rebound next week and become the first TNA Champion?
Jeremy Borash was standing in the middle of the ring. Borash introduced AJ Styles to a great ovation from the fans in attendance. AJ Styles came out and joined Borash in the ring while Styles made his way out to the ring footage was shown from last week of Jeff Jarrett costing AJ Styles his match against Jerry Lynn.
Jeremy Borash reminded the fans of what happened after the match involving Jarrett, Lynn and Ricky Steamboat. Borash asked AJ Styles what was going on through his head while he lay on the bottom rope watching what was going on outside of the ring. Styles thought over his answer before cracking a little smile. AJ Styles said last week he realized that he has everyone right where he wants and needs them. AJ Styles looked out of the ring last week and he realized that Jeff Jarrett and Jerry Lynn are threatened by him and Styles also realized that he has a supporter in Ricky Steamboat. Styles said it doesn’t matter how good you are if you don’t have some one willing to give you an opportunity you got nothing and last week Styles heard Steamboat’s words and saw Steamboat’s actions and now Styles believes that Ricky Steamboat is right behind giving fresh talent an opportunity. AJ Styles believes that Jerry Lynn was upset because Lynn now has doubts as to whether he can beat Styles or not, Styles knows that he surprised Lynn with just how good he is and everyone watching last week saw that if it was not for the referee being knocked down then AJ Styles would have scored the biggest win of his career over Jerry Lynn. As for Jeff Jarrett, Jarrett tells the world he is the Main Event, the biggest name in TNA and that may have been true nine weeks ago but things are starting to change because the fans are tuning in week after week not to see Jarrett but to see the likes of Low Ki, Amazing Red, Chris Harris and AJ Styles. Jeff Jarrett is frightened of the challenge in front of him. Jarrett expected to walk into TNA and to be handed everything based on his past accomplishments but now Jarrett knows they mean jack here and everyone starts at the same level. AJ Styles said in time he will get another match with Jerry Lynn and this time AJ would leave with the W and eventually when Jarrett grows a set AJ will beat Jarrett all around the ring but his complete focus is on next week and making history by winning the Gauntlet for the Gold match and becoming the first TNA Champion. AJ Styles believes he can do it, the fans believe AJ can do and now after last week AJ knows that everyone else in the Gauntlet for the Gold match fear that AJ Styles can become the first TNA Champion.
Jeremy Borash informed the fans that after the next match he would be back in the ring this time to speak with Jerry Lynn.
Video package aired looking at ‘Wildcat’ Chris Harris. Harris has gained a reputation here in TNA as being very professional. Chris Harris has the best win loss record out of the entire roster going 8-0 which included winning a one night tag team partner with James Storm. Last week Harris scored the biggest victory of his career making Steve Corino tap out in the middle of the ring. If Chris Harris is still undefeated at the end of next weeks Pay per View that would mean Chris Harris would be the first TNA Champion.
Match 2; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe) V Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond)
2 weeks ago Diamonds in the Rough beat Briscoe Brothers after outside interference from Smooth Stallions. Briscoe Brothers demanded this rematch tonight. Briscoe Brothers who are both teenagers are always up for a fight and never back down from a challenge.
Diamonds in the Rough beat Briscoe Brothers via pin fall after they spiked Mark Briscoe with their Problem Solver hangman’s DDT. Briscoe’s had Johnny Swinger set up for their springboard Doomsday Device only for Simon Diamond to trip Jay on the top rope which led to the finish.
Winners; Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond)
Diamonds in the Rough work together next week then maybe Johnny Swinger or Simon Diamond could become the first TNA Champion. Briscoe Brothers have nothing to be ashamed of in defeat tonight.
Tonight; James Storm V Christopher Daniels!
Tonight’s Main Event; Low Ki V Ron Killings!
Jeremy Borash was once again standing in the middle of the ring. Borash introduced his guest Jerry Lynn. Lynn made his way out as footage was shown from the end of last weeks Pay per View and from earlier tonight where AJ Styles said he believes the TNA Wrestling roster is threatened by him.
Borash and Lynn shook hands. Borash asked Lynn how he was feeling going into next week where Lynn and the entire TNA Wrestling roster have the opportunity to become the first TNA Champion especially after what happened last week and after AJ Styles comments earlier tonight. Jerry Lynn at this stage of his career doesn’t get excited about much but Lynn is excited about next week Lynn has butterflies in his stomach at the thought of becoming the first TNA Champion. Jerry Lynn has one last dream to achieve before he calls time on his career and that is to become the TNA Champion but it would be the icing on the cake to become the first TNA Champion. Lynn addressed Styles comments from earlier and denied being threatened by Styles or anyone else in the company but again admitted to being excited about facing new challenges. Lynn enjoyed his match with Styles last week and claimed that Jarrett ruined the Main Event last week robbing the fans of a rightful winner but Lynn will take AJ up on his challenge and when AJ wants to do it again, Lynn will meet AJ in the middle of the ring and next time Lynn will leave no doubt. Jeff Jarrett’s music interrupted. Jarrett came out and joined Lynn and Borash in the middle of the ring…
Jeff Jarrett took Borash’s microphone. Jarrett told Jerry Lynn that next week is a night that will go down in history and a night that many years from now could go down in history as the biggest match in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling history because next week one man will have the honor of becoming the first TNA Champion. Jarrett told Lynn that the final stage of the Gauntlet comes down to two men who will meet in the middle of the ring and battle one fall to a finish and the winner will become the first TNA Champion. Jarrett told Lynn that regardless of what they think about the other they are the measuring stick of this company and they have earned the right to fight for the TNA title not a couple of punks who have been handed opportunity after opportunity by Ricky Steamboat and earned nothing. Jerry Lynn cut Jarrett off and told Jarrett that they haven’t accomplished anything in TNA yet. Lynn couldn’t care less who it is that ends up standing opposite him next week because when the night is over Jerry Lynn will be the first TNA Champion. Lynn walked past to leave the ring, Jarrett threatened that Lynn wouldn’t even make it too the final stage of the Gauntlet and grabbed Lynn from behind and went to toss Lynn over the top rope only for Lynn to reverse it and send Jeff Jarrett flying over the top rope. Jeff Jarrett was fuming at ringside, would be elimination next week as Jerry Lynn motioned for the TNA Championship.
Mike Tenay and Don West were shown on camera they spoke about Gauntlet for the Gold and the men who they would consider the favorites to become the first TNA Champion. Tenay and West also hyped a poll on their website asking the fans who they believe will become the first TNA Champion. ‘The Monster’ Abyss is currently leading the poll.
Match 3; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Amazing Red V Chase Stevens
Amazing Red beat Chase Stevens via pin fall after Red countered a Steven’s Powerbomb attempt with his Code Red.
Winner; Amazing Red
Amazing Red with another victory taking his record to 4-0; Don West asked the question why couldn’t Amazing Red shock the world next week and become the first TNA Champion.
Video package aired looking at a number of the TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling roster including Jimmy Yang, Elix Skipper, Joey Matthews, Diamonds in the Rough, Alan Funk, Norman Smiley and Smooth Stallions who made their names before coming to TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling but next week they all have the biggest opportunity of their career the chance to become the first TNA Champion.
Up Next; Kid Kash debuts!
Video package aired looking at the high flying fan favorite Kid Kash who has the potential to become a massive star here in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Jeremy Borash was standing by backstage with Joey Matthews. Borash mentioned how Matthews looked happier this week. Borash asked Matthews if he was looking forward to teaming with Kid Kash. Matthews told Borash that not only does he consider a close friend but also a mentor and tonight he is privileged to team with Kid Kash and even though Matthews has made it known that he wanted to branch out into the singles division but if there was any man he would team with full time and go after the TNA Tag titles with it would be Kid Kash.
Match 4; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Joey Matthews and Kid Kash V Smooth Stallions (Mamaluke & Romeo)
Kid Kash made his way out to a big ovation slapping hands with the fans as Kash made his way down the aisle before joining Joey Matthews in the ring as Smooth Stallions stood at ringside.
Smooth Stallions beat Joey Matthews and Kid Kash via pin fall after Kash dropped Mercury on his head with a release double under hook power bomb before rolling out of the ring. Mamaluke quickly took advantage and covered Matthews for the victory. Smooth Stallions looked shocked and confused after the match but they were not going to turn down the chance to score their first victory.
Winner; Smooth Stallions (Mamaluke & Romeo)
Kid Kash just stood at ringside with his head lowered and hands on his side. Fans were booing Kash while Tenay and West were confused by Kash’s actions. Kash looked into the ring to see the match official checking on Joey Matthews. Kash made his way over to Tenay and West’s broadcast table before telling them that what he just did to Joey Matthews will make Matthews a better man.
Up Next; James Storm V Christopher Daniels!
Video package aired looking at the ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm who has become Nashville’s favorite son. Storm using his Super Kick has gained a perfect 6-0 record. James Storm who loves to drink and hunt made it clear a few weeks back after rejecting Chris Harris that is focus is solely on becoming the first TNA Champion and doing it in his hometown of Nashville Tennessee…
Match 5; Time Limit; 20 Minutes James Storm V Christopher Daniels
Recorded interview aired with ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels before the match. Daniels believes TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling management and the fans have decided among themselves who they believe are the favorites to become the first TNA Champion and it’s clear they see Christopher Daniels as an outsider at best. Daniels could lose his temper but instead Daniels has faith in himself because Daniels knows something that know one else knows and that is just how good he is. Daniels will not brag after he becomes the TNA Champion and tell the world he told you so because he will do it right now. Christopher Daniels, God’s gift to the professional wrestling industry will make history next week win the Gauntlet for the Gold match and become the first TNA Champion and that is the gospel according to the Fallen Angel.
During the match William Muellar who was in the crowd made his way to the security railings and got the attention of James Storm. Mike Tenay confirmed that Muellar would make his in ring debut next week during the Gauntlet for the Gold match. Muellar got Storm’s attention but before anything kicked off security ordered Muellar away from the ring.
Christopher Daniels beat James Storm via pin fall after Daniels ducked Storm’s Super Kick tripped Storm so Storm fell on his face and Daniels quickly surprised Storm with an inside cradle for the three count continuing his undefeated streak but ending the streak of James Storm.
Winner; Christopher Daniels
Christopher Daniels rolled out of the ring as James Storm jumped in shock before dropping to his knees when reality hit home that he had lost. Storm questioned the count with the match official but there was no changing the match result. Tenay and West said there were two reasons for the defeat William Muellar is in James Storm’s head which means Storm is not 100% focused on becoming the first TNA Champion or simply Christopher Daniels on this night was just better than James Storm.
Christopher Daniels was on his knees in the aisle looking around the arena motioning for the TNA Championship. Daniels jumped to the feet before telling everyone in the crowd that next week he would become the first TNA Champion, every one can claim it but he is the only man who will back it up.
Mike Tenay and Don West were shown at ringside hyping next week’s Pay per View and the Gauntlet in the Gold match where the entire TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling roster will compete for the right to make history and become the first TNA Champion.
Wednesday 21st August, 2002; TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay per View; TNA Championship: Gauntlet for the Gold!!
Up Next; Tonight’s Main Event; Low Ki V Ron Killings…
Ron Killings was standing by backstage with Jeremy Borash ahead of tonight’s Main Event. Borash asked Killings if he was 100% focused on becoming the first TNA Champion or is Monty Brown and Elix Skipper still in his head. Killings admits that next week getting his hands on Monty Brown and Elix Skipper would be a bonus but next week is all about becoming the first TNA Champion but then after champion or not Killings would bring the nasty to Brown and Skipper. Borash asked Killings if he had a message for Low Ki. Killings just told Low Ki it was on…
Low Ki was shown leaving his locker room. Low Ki is a man of few words who does his talking in the ring and based on that theory Low Ki has been very vocal and it has made Low Ki one the favorites to become the first TNA Champion.
Match 6; Main Event Time Limit; 30 Minutes Low Ki V Ron Killings
Jim Mitchell during the match came to ringside and joined Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary. Mitchell the man behind ‘The Monster’ Abyss stated that Abyss is the odds on favorite to become the first TNA Champion and Abyss made it very clear after ending the career of Sabu that he would destroy whatever comes before him but if there was one man they had to keep an eye on that one man would be Low Ki, because arguably and admittedly Low Ki maybe the most focused wrestler they have ever come across but Jim Mitchell believes that if Abyss manages to squash Low Ki like a bug then there is no man who can stop Abyss from achieving his destiny of becoming the first TNA Champion.
Elix Skipper was shown backstage during the Main Event of the phone to Monty Brown scouting the performance of Ron Killings.
Low Ki beat Ron Killings via pin fall after Killings missed an axe kick and turned into Low Ki’s Tidal Wave springboard kick to the face. Low Ki stayed on top of Killings quickly taking Killings breath away with a running mushroom stomp before putting Killings away with his Ki Krusher in the middle of the ring.
Winner; Low Ki
Low Ki was very impressive tonight and showed why he is among the favorites to become the first TNA Champion. Ron Killings and Low Ki held nothing back and put it all on the line but tonight it was Low Ki that came out the victor.
Jim Mitchell got up from his seat and circled the ring while applauding Low Ki who had noticed Mitchell at ringside. Mitchell stopped applauding to tell Low Ki that while he was impressive tonight it would mean nothing next week because his monster Abyss would become the first TNA Champion next week. Low Ki stepped back into the middle of the ring and with his foot drew a line in the sand and challenged Abyss to step across it and face him. Mitchell warned Low Ki that Abyss would end him before making his way up the aisle.
Low Ki continued celebrating in the ring and motioning for the TNA title and was about to leave the ring, stepped out on to the ring apron when AJ Styles walked out on to the stage. Low Ki and AJ Styles locked eyes before AJ Styles motioned for the TNA Championship and the last Pay per View before the first TNA Champion is crowned went off the air with Low Ki and AJ Styles locked upon one another. Next week who will make history and become the first TNA Champion?

TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay Per View 2 Hours Wednesday 07/08/2002 Nashville, Tennessee
Tonight’s Card
Main Event; Jerry Lynn V AJ Styles Chris Harris V Steve Corino Jimmy Yang V Jeff Jarrett Amazing Red and Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe) V Jimmy Rave and Smooth Stallions (Mamaluke & Romeo) Chase Stevens and Joey Matthews V Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond) Shark Boy V Elix Skipper
Wednesday 21st August, 2002; TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling; TNA Championship: Gauntlet for the Gold!!
TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling open…
TNA host, Jeremy Borash opened the Pay per View backstage with an update on the condition of Sabu. Last week Abyss took Sabu apart piece by piece and Borash can reveal at this time that Sabu suffered major injuries to his elbow, back and neck. Sabu will require surgery and at this time there is no prediction on when Sabu is likely to return to the ring even if at all. Sabu signed a full time contract with TNA ahead of last weeks Main Event and was scheduled to be apart of the Gauntlet for the Gold match. Everyone at TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling would like to send Sabu their well wishes and they hope Sabu makes a speedy recovery.
26th June, 2002 Jeremy Borash announced that on Wednesday 21st August, 2002 TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling will crown its first TNA Champion when the entire roster will compete in a Gauntlet for the Gold match. Last week Jeff Jarrett claimed that AJ Styles, Low Ki, Chris Harris and Jerry Lynn’s victory the week before meant nothing. All that matters was that Jeff Jarrett is still to be beaten and that once again AJ Styles failed when put in the Main Event. Ricky Steamboat interrupted and revealed that Jarrett had been offered a match with AJ Styles but Jarrett turned down the match. Jarrett claimed to have his reasons. Jarrett then bad mouthed Steamboat before even challenging the retired Ricky Steamboat to a match so because Jarrett knew it would humiliate Steamboat in having to reject the challenge. Abyss and Sabu in the Main Event fought to a No Contest after the match official lost control of the match and the referee calling for the bell didn’t stop the brawl. Abyss tossed Sabu threw a table in the corner, the table smashed to pieces. Abyss continued the assault; Shock Treatment and a Choke Slam onto two steel chairs seemed to finish the beating but Abyss proving he had a black heart noticed the injured Sabu trying to crawl out of the ring. Abyss press slammed Sabu over the tope rope and through another table! Doctors were immediately on the scene to check on Sabu. Abyss just stood in the ring with his shadow covering the carnage and chaos at ringside.
Mike Tenay and Don West at ringside welcomed the fans watching tonight’s Pay per View and started to hyped tonight’s card when they were interrupted by Jim Mitchell’s voice…
Jim Mitchell walked out on to the stage with a microphone in hand. Mitchell said last week the world got to see just how ruthless his monster Abyss truly is. Mitchell had evidence if people still doubted Abyss, Mitchell pointed everyone’s attention to the big screen where a still shot from after last weeks Pay per View was shown showing Sabu with a neck brace on strapped to a stretcher. Mitchell was laughing at the image. Last week Abyss ended Sabu’s iconic career, Abyss did in one night something many men have tried to do over the years and Abyss made it look easy. In two weeks, Gauntlet for the Gold, TNA will crown the first TNA Champion and Mitchell asked the fans to ask themselves the same question that has been going around the last couple of weeks who can stop Abyss from becoming the first TNA Champion! No man can stop Abyss, Mitchell answered his own question. TNA is living in fear of ‘The Monster’ Abyss and rightfully so because once Abyss becomes the TNA Champion there is no saving TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling from his monster Abyss.
Mike Tenay and Don West back at ringside were disgusted by the lack of remorse shown by Jim Mitchell here tonight they were also shocked at Mitchell gloating about Abyss actions and showing the still shot of Sabu strapped to a stretcher in a neck brace. Jim Mitchell does make a valid point however, who can stop Abyss from becoming the first TNA Champion.
Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn V AJ Styles!
Tonight; Chris Harris V Steve Corino!
Mike Tenay and Don West managed to hype tonight’s card which could see the coming of age of both Chris Harris and AJ Styles they’ll be more on that as the Pay per View continues. Also added to tonight’s line up Jimmy Yang will take on Jeff Jarrett plus we would hear tonight from the ‘Alpha Male’ Monty Brown.
Match 1; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Chase Stevens and Joey Matthews V Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond)
Joey Matthews clearly wasn’t happy about teaming with Chase Stevens tonight, Matthews didn’t look happy even Tenay and West noticed Matthews unhappiness.
Diamonds in the Rough beat Chase Stevens and Joey Matthews via pin fall after Diamond and Swinger dropped Stevens with their Problem Solver. Joey Matthews it seemed could have possibly saved Stevens from being pinned but chose not too.
Winners; Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger and Simon Diamond)
Joey Matthews didn’t stick around the match. Diamonds in the Rough celebrated their victory as Mike Tenay noted that TNA management are scouting the world for talented tag teams before they make any decisions on crowning first TNA Tag Team champions but when that decision is made Diamonds in the Rough you would imagine will be among the favorites to become the first TNA Tag Team Champions.
Jeremy Borash backstage spoke about tonight’s headline attractions, the undefeated Chris Harris will face former World Heavyweight Champion, Steve Corino and in the Main Event, former World Heavyweight and Cruiserweight Champion, Jerry Lynn will take on a man the wrestling world is currently buzzing about AJ Styles. Borash introduced a video package taking a closer look at the rising stars in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling…
Video aired taking a look at the rising stars in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling having a quick look at the likes of Low Ki, James Storm, Amazing Red, Christopher Daniels and Ron Killings while then having a more in depth look at Chris Harris who has a 7-0 win loss record and AJ Styles who grabbed the world’s attention on the first TNA Pay per View by wrestling Low Ki in a 30 minute classic…
Borash revealed that later tonight he would speak to both Steve Corino and Jerry Lynn separately ahead of their respective matches but also tonight Borash would announce two more big matches signed for next weeks Pay per View the penultimate Pay per View ahead of Gauntlet for the Gold where the first TNA Champion will be crowned, which will feature more of TNA’s rising stars.
Footage aired from last week. Ron Killings beat Elix Skipper via a disqualification after a deliberate low blow from Skipper. Skipper after the match wanted to send Killings a message from Monty Brown but Killings came back and cleared Skipper from the ring…
Match 2; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Shark Boy V Elix Skipper
Elix Skipper beat Shark Boy via pin fall after Skipper caught Shark Boy with a top rope hurricane rona before finishing Shark Boy off with his Play of the Day (Over Driver). Elix Skipper talked trash into the camera after claiming to best pound for pounder on the planet before demanding a microphone.
Winner; Elix Skipper
Elix Skipper let everyone know that in his opinion he is the best pound for pound athlete on the planet. Skipper has a history of making history and winning Championships so don’t be surprised if in two weeks Elix Skipper wins the Gauntlet for the Gold match and becomes the first TNA Champion. Skipper claimed if he doesn’t become the first TNA Champion then his main man, the ‘Alpha Male’ Monty Brown will become the first TNA Champion. Skipper introduced a recorded interview with Monty Brown.
Monty Brown wearing an expensive suite was sitting behind a desk in his office. Monty Brown was asked to explain why he hasn’t yet to appear at a TNA event and why the ‘Alpha Male’ has an issue with Ron Killings. Brown said its simple why he hasn’t appeared live on TNA Pay per View first off all its because Nashville, Tennessee is beneath him and second Brown has had no reason to appear yet but in two weeks Monty Brown will have reason to be in Nashville because August 21st the world will see a wrestler like no other a wrestler more dominant than any other they will see a lion, the king of the jungle the ‘Alpha Male’ Monty Brown become the first ever TNA Champion. Monty Brown addressed Ron Killings by saying Ron Killings doubted him questioned his abilities and you can’t insult a born winner like himself any more than by questioning his talents so far that Ron Killings has to be sent a clear message and if Monty Brown has to get his own hands dirty than he will and as the king of the jungle Monty would rip out Ron Killings heart with his teeth. Monty Brown is the biggest and best thing in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and he demands respect, people may not agree with him but come August 21st everyone in TNA will have to bow down to their first TNA Champion the ‘Alpha Male’ Monty Brown!
Tonight; Jimmy Yang V Jeff Jarrett!
Tonight; Chris Harris V Steve Corino!
Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn V AJ Styles!
Video package aired hyping the debut next week off Kid Kash. Kash is a fan favorite and Kash has the talent to challenge at the very top in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Ricky Steamboat commented during the video to say TNA were excited to have Kid Kash on the TNA Roster.
Match 3; Time Limit; 20 Minutes 6 Man Tag Team Match Amazing Red and Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe) V Jimmy Rave & Smooth Stallions (Mamaluke & Romeo)
Recorded promo with Smooth Stallions aired as they made their ring entrance. Smooth Stallion’s are still upset with their loss to the Briscoe Brothers a couple of weeks ago. Mamaluke and Romeo called Jay and Mark ugly weak boys while they are everything real men should be, good looking, talented and winners. Tonight they separate the men from the boys…
Amazing Red and Briscoe Brothers beat Jimmy Rave and Smooth Stallions via pin fall after Briscoe’s took care of Mamaluke with their springboard Doomsday Device. Rave knocked Jay from the ring with a high knee and planted Mark with a spinning Olympic slam. Red took care of Rave with his Satellite DDT and then caught Romeo unaware with his Code Red for the victory.
Winners; Amazing Red and Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe)
Amazing Red continues to impress taking his record to 3-0 which is more impressive because Red is the smallest wrestler on the roster. Smooth Stallions were upset with another loss to the Briscoe Brothers. Jimmy Rave snapped again after the match this time screaming at Mamaluke & Romeo plus Rave kicked the ring steps. Jimmy Rave again showed his bad attitude.
Mike Tenay and Don West were at ringside between them they hyped the Gauntlet for the Gold in 2 weeks when the first TNA Champion would be crowned. Tenay introduced Ricky Steamboat who has asked for some time to address some recent issues…
Ricky Steamboat thanked everyone for their time and apologized for interrupting the show. Steamboat has been accused publicly and privately over the last few weeks of showing favoritism to certain TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling talent especially AJ Styles. Steamboat denies these claims but does admit to wanting to get behind AJ Styles plus Low Ki, Chris Harris, Ron Killings, Amazing Red, James Storm, Christopher Daniels, Monty Brown, Abyss. Steamboat agreed to work alongside TNA management on the basis of giving the new talent an opportunity, throw them in at the deep end see if AJ Styles, Low Ki, Chris Harris etc will sink or swim, make Jeff Jarrett, Jerry Lynn and Steve Corino work for their positions on top. Steamboat said over time only the best will remain on top and the men will be separated from the boys. Steamboat said it is everyman for themselves and the cream will rise to the top be it AJ Styles or Jeff Jarrett or Jerry Lynn, Abyss or Low Ki. Ricky Steamboat said he is not behind any one TNA wrestler, Ricky Steamboat is behind TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and in two weeks they will crown the first TNA Champion and Steamboat wishes every man competing in the Gauntlet in the Gold match, good luck.
Jeremy Borash was standing by with Jeff Jarrett ahead of Jarrett’s match against Jimmy Yang. Borash and Jarrett had just heard Steamboat’s comments. Borash asked Jarrett for his thoughts. Bull, Jeff Jarrett said Ricky Steamboat is full of crap. Jarrett reminded everyone that last week Jarrett embarrassed Steamboat in the middle of the ring and now this week Jarrett has been ordered to face Jimmy Yang even though Jarrett made it clear he didn’t want to get in the ring again until the Gauntlet for the Gold match. Jeff Jarrett accused Ricky Steamboat and TNA management of being against him and claimed that they would love nothing more than for AJ Styles to become the first TNA Champion but Jarrett will ruin their plans and again show the world why he is the Main Event the biggest name in TNA wrestling by becoming the first TNA Champion.
Match 4; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Jimmy Yang V Jeff Jarrett
Jimmy Yang vowed 2 weeks ago to get more focused and last week Yang got back on track with a victory over Joey Matthews.
Jeff Jarrett beat Jimmy Yang via pin fall after Jarrett dropped Yang with his Stroke. Tenay and West praised Yang after the match after taking Jarrett to the limit tonight. Not many people like Jeff Jarrett and there is no denying that Jeff Jarrett is among the favorites to become the first TNA Champion.
Winner; Jeff Jarrett
Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn V AJ Styles!
Up Next; Chris Harris V Steve Corino!
Jeremy Borash was standing by backstage with Steve Corino ahead of Corino’s match against Chris Harris. Steve Corino again claimed that Harris pinning him 2 weeks ago was an upset. Corino again said that one day Harris may go on to become TNA Champion and may even go down in history as one of the greatest off all time but today Chris Harris is a blue chipper while Steve Corino is a former World Heavyweight Champion and a threat to every man on the TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling roster. Tonight Steve Corino has to go out to that ring and not only take Chris Harris’ undefeated streak but Corino has to hurt Chris Harris. Corino looked Borash in the eye and calmly told Borash that so far he has hated his time here in TNA but things start to turn around tonight and if people are not willing to respect the first TNA Champion, Steve Corino then everyone will fear Steve Corino…
Video package aired looking at Chris Harris who came into TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling as a relatively unknown. Harris was trained in the infamous WCW Power Plant and has spent the last year wrestling all over the country. Chris Harris has the best win loss record in TNA and it’s down to Harris professionalism and treating every match like it’s the biggest match of his career.
Match 5; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Chris Harris V Steve Corino
Chris Harris beat Steve Corino via tap out after Harris caught Corino in his Texas Cloverleaf. Corino surprised Harris by kicking out of all of Harris big moves including Catatonic. Corino hung Harris neck on the top rope and clocked Harris with a shining wizard. Corino looked to finish Harris with a lariat but Harris ducked and quickly locked Corino in his cloverleaf and Corino had no choice but to tap out.
Winner; Chris Harris
Chris Harris made Steve Corino a former World Heavyweight Champion tap out in the middle of the ring. Steve Corino just rolled out of the ring after the bell. Mike Tenay and Don West were really impressed with Harris who showed tonight that he is for real and a true contender. Chris Harris had his hand raised to victory before dropping to his knees Chris Harris knows just how big this victory was over Steve Corino easily the biggest victory of Chris Harris career. Chris Harris is heading to Gauntlet for the Gold with momentum and now with a lot of confidence. Could Chris Harris shock the world in 2 weeks and become the first TNA Champion?
Tenay and West were shown at ringside still glowing about Chris Harris performance. Tenay introduced Jeremy Borash who had a huge announcement about next weeks Pay per View the penultimate Pay per View before Gauntlet for the Gold.
Jeremy Borash thanked Tenay and West, congratulated Chris Harris on his victory and revealed that he tried to speak to Steve Corino moments ago but Corino had no comment. Up next tonight’s Main Event would see AJ Styles face Jerry Lynn, the TNA locker room is gathering around monitors backstage to witness tonight’s Main Event. Borash announced two big Main Events signed for next weeks Pay per View. One man would lose his undefeated streak when ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels takes on Nashville’s favorite son ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm. Then in the Main Event we would also see two men who have taken TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling by storm, two of the favorites to become the first TNA Champion square off when Ron Killings will go one on one against Low Ki!
Wednesday 14th August, 2002; TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling • Main Event; Low Ki V Ron Killings • James Storm V Christopher Daniels • Kid Kash debuts
Up Next; Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn V AJ Styles…
AJ Styles came out first for tonight’s Main Event to a big ovation from the fans in attendance. AJ waited for his opponent Jerry Lynn when Lynn the former two weight World Champion appeared on the big screen standing next to Jeremy Borash…
Jerry Lynn told AJ Styles that he would be out in a minute but first Lynn wants to get something of his chest. First Jerry Lynn accepts every word that came out of Ricky Steamboat’s mouth earlier tonight about giving everyone a shot and Lynn is excited about facing the likes of AJ Styles, Low Ki, Chris Harris and the men will be separated from the boys in time. Lynn predicts that AJ Styles from what Lynn has seen will go on and become the TNA Champion and one of the sports greats but Lynn will do everything in his power to make sure AJ does not become the first TNA Champion because Jerry Lynn still has dreams and Lynn dreams of becoming the first TNA Champion. Lynn told AJ Styles that Styles is still looking for that big win to silence his critics, Lynn apologized to Styles because tonight was not going to be AJ Styles night.
Match 6; Main Event Time Limit; 30 Minutes Jerry Lynn V AJ Styles
Jerry Lynn beat AJ Styles via pin fall after Lynn dropped Styles with his TKO. Great match which went past the twenty minute mark. Referee got knocked from the ring moments before the end of the contest. Styles seemed to be edging his way to victory after planting Lynn with his Styles Clash but immediately Jeff Jarrett was in the ring. Jarrett dropped Styles with his Stroke and rolled out of the ring. Referee got back in the ring as Styles and Lynn were both down, both men started to get back to their feet at the same time but it was Lynn that struck first with his TKO.
Winner; Jerry Lynn
Jerry Lynn rolled off AJ Styles and had his hand risen in victory by the referee, Lynn was oblivious to Jeff Jarrett’s interference. Jeff Jarrett ruined a great Main Event tonight.
Jeff Jarrett was standing in the aisle gloating about costing AJ Styles the match and vowing to become the first TNA Champion when Ricky Steamboat came from behind Jarrett and spun Jarrett around with force. Steamboat was going mad at Jarrett for ruining tonight’s Main Event and costing Styles.
Jerry Lynn noticed what was going on outside of the ring and realized what had happened at the end of his match. Jerry Lynn rolled out of the ring and went for Jarrett but Lynn had to be held back by the referee and Ricky Steamboat as Jarrett continued to talk smack to Steamboat, Lynn and Styles. Pay per View went off the air with AJ Styles laying his head on the bottom rope watching as it all kicked off outside of the ring with Ricky Steamboat, Jerry Lynn and Jeff Jarrett.

Last weeks Main Event saw Jerry Lynn, AJ Styles, Low Ki and Chris Harris beat Jeff Jarrett, Steve Corino and Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond) after Harris pinned Corino. Jeff Jarrett was fuming after the match and claimed the result meant nothing. AJ Styles and Low Ki couldn’t take their eyes off each other after the match. Low Ki made his intentions clear by motioning for the TNA title. Jim Mitchell last week claimed that TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling was in fear of ‘The Monster’ Abyss. Mitchell also questioned who in TNA could stop Abyss from becoming the first TNA Champion and warned that there is no saving TNA from Abyss. Later in the night it was announced that someone had stepped up and challenged Abyss a former World Heavyweight Champion, the homicidal, genocidal, suicidal, death defying… Sabu!
TNA host Jeremy Borash welcomed everyone watching in the arena and at home to the latest TNA Total Non-Stop Wrestling Action Pay per View. Borash hyped tonight’s Main Event which would see the debut of Sabu a hardcore legend and one of the most feared men in the history of this business. Borash also hyped the rest of tonight’s card which would see Amazing Red, Christopher Daniels and Low Ki in singles action. Rematch from two weeks ago Jimmy Yang faces Joey Matthews and Ron Killings gets his chance at revenge when he takes on Elix Skipper. Also tonight after being attacked from behind last week by William Muellar, James Storm has vowed to be here to call out Muellar and that’s not all because Jeff Jarrett has demanded to kick off the show. Jeremy Borash made his way into the ring…
Tonight’s Main Event; Sabu V Abyss w. Jim Mitchell!
Highlights aired from last weeks Pay per View. Jerry Lynn, AJ Styles, Low Ki and Chris Harris beat Jeff Jarrett, Steve Corino and Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond) in the Main Event. Jeff Jarrett after the match was fuming about the defeat while still claiming the result didn’t mean anything.
Jeremy Borash now standing in the middle of the ring introduced Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett came out not dressed to wrestle but Jarrett still didn’t look happy. Jarrett joined Borash in the middle of the ring and snatched the microphone out of Borash’s hand. Jarrett told Borash to get out of his ring because he’s not needed.
Jeff Jarrett said both Ricky Steamboat comes out here or Mike Tenay and Don West blew the result of last weeks Main Event out of proportion. Jarrett wanted to tell everyone it doesn’t matter who lost last weeks Main Event or even who won last weeks Main Event only two things matter coming out of last week. One Jeff Jarrett is still the biggest name in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and is still to be beaten. Number two AJ Styles once again was given the ball put in the Main Event by Ricky Steamboat and once again with the world watching AJ Styles never got the job done in the Main Event. Jarrett said he could come out here and call Steamboat senile or a fool by continuing to get behind AJ but the truth is AJ Styles is making Steamboat look like a fool every time AJ Styles fails. Jeff Jarrett concluded that last week proved that AJ Styles was over hyped from day one and has no chance of becoming the first TNA Champion. Jeff Jarrett started to say he would become the first TNA Champion when Ricky Steamboat interrupted. Ricky Steamboat joined Jarrett in the middle of the ring. Steamboat told Jarrett he was being disrespectful to not only AJ Styles but also Jerry Lynn, Chris Harris and Low Ki because their victory last week did mean something and was very impressive. Steamboat also noted that AJ Styles was not here tonight and Jarrett knew that, Steamboat said there was something that Jarrett was not telling the fans and that is that during the week TNA Management offered Jeff Jarrett the chance to face AJ Styles one on one in next weeks Main Event but Jeff Jarrett rejected the match. Jarrett wasn’t happy. Jarrett cut Steamboat off and told Steamboat that there is only three weeks until Gauntlet for the Gold and facing AJ Styles next week with AJ having this week off wasn’t worth the risk. Jeff Jarrett is not interested in doing anything to challenging before Gauntlet for the Gold. Jarrett stepped up to Steamboat and told Steamboat wants to get on him for rejecting a challenge and supposedly being threatened by AJ Styles. Jeff Jarrett has a challenge of his own, Ricky Steamboat puts his boots back on one more time and gets inside the ring with the first TNA Champion and the biggest name in TNA, Jeff Jarrett and Jarrett will show Ricky Steamboat that Steamboat was never as good as what people are led to believe. Jarrett mockingly asked Steamboat to reject his challenge now. Steamboat told Jarrett he was no longer a wrestler but Jarrett corrected Steamboat and said Ricky Steamboat was no longer a man!
Jeff Jarrett barged past Steamboat and left the ring leaving Steamboat to stand in the middle of the ring stung by Jeff Jarrett’s words. Fans were behind Steamboat. Mike Tenay said that Ricky Steamboat is learning that he can’t keep everyone happy in his new job with TNA Management but also for the wrestler inside of Steamboat is must be killing Steamboat to have to stand there and reject Jeff Jarrett’s challenge.
Tonight; Low Ki will be in action!
Tonight; Ron Killings V Elix Skipper!
Match 1; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Amazing Red V Jimmy Rave
Jimmy Rave making his TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling debut tonight against Amazing Red who impressed in his debut last week…
Amazing Red beat Jimmy Rave via pin fall after Red ran up Rave in the corner and nailed Rave with repeated drop kicks to the chest Red followed up with his Satellite DDT and his Red Star Press for the win.
Winner; Amazing Red
After Amazing Red had celebrated his victory and left the ring the match official tried to help Jimmy Rave out of the ring but Rave snapped at the official telling him that no one tells Jimmy Rave what to do. Jimmy Rave has got a bad attitude.
Mike Tenay and Don West at ringside spoke about tonight’s Main Event pitting ‘The Monster’ Abyss against former World Heavyweight Champion, Sabu. Tenay and West spoke about Sabu’s history in the business which has seen Sabu travel the world and face the toughest men. Sabu has a reputation as one of the most reckless, hardcore men to ever step inside the squared circle. Tonight; Sabu makes his TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling debut. Sabu has stood up to the most daunting task in TNA the current favorite to become the first TNA Champion, ‘The Monster’ Abyss.
Jeremy Borash was standing by backstage with ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels. Daniels told Borash that over the last couple of weeks Daniels has shown that it doesn’t matter if you have been in the wrestling business 2 minutes or 20 years no one has any answer on how to beat Christopher Daniels. Daniels admitted that tonight he hand picked his opponent, Daniels said his opponent is a joke but Daniels said the reason he picked Shark Boy is because Daniels wanted to show that he is always on the top of his game it doesn’t matter if you been in the business 2 minutes, 20 years if you pretend to be a fish or if you’re the greatest wrestler off all time there is no answer, no way to beat ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels the first ever TNA Champion.
Match 2; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Shark Boy V Christopher Daniels
Christopher Daniels beat Shark Boy via pin fall after Daniels spiked Shark Boy with his Angel Wings. Daniels once again dominated the entire match looking very good in the process.
Winner; Christopher Daniels
Christopher Daniels circled Shark Boy after the bell before kneeling down next to Shark Boy. Daniels grabbed Shark Boy by his mask and got right in Shark Boy’s face. Christopher Daniels wants Shark Boy to go and tell every wrestler in the back that Christopher Daniels will become the first TNA Champion.
Tonight; Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe) V Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond)!
Footage was shown from last week of William Muellar attacking James Storm from behind after Muellar jumped Storm from behind and covered Storm’s head with a blanket/sheet so Storm was blinded. William Muellar threatened to attack in the weeks leading up to last week and also promised that no one would see it coming.
TNA Ring Announcer, David Penzer introduced ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm. TNA Management has given James Storm time tonight to come out and challenge William Muellar to a fight. Storm came out to a good ovation from his hometown crowd before taking Penzer’s microphone. Last week William Muellar attacked James Storm from behind after blinding Storm by covering his head in a sheet. Storm said its not the first time he has took a kicking but every time Storm has been put down he gets back up and does things the Tennessee way. James Storm calls out the man responsible and looks the man in the eye before kicking his ass. James Storm challenged William Muellar to grow a pair and to get his ass down to the ring so they can settle their issue like men. No sign of Muellar so Storm told Muellar he would close his eyes so Muellar can get the first shot because all that matters is the last shot and the last shot is Storm knocking Muellar out with a Super Kick. James Storm told William Muellar that he can’t hide forever and as soon as Muellar comes out of hiding Storm will get his hands on William Muellar but until that time comes Storm said he will fill the gap by drinking beer, hunting and by becoming the first TNA Champion.
Up Next; Ron Killings V Elix Skipper!
Video package aired looking at the rivalry between Ron Killings and Monty Brown which has seen Elix Skipper do the ‘Alpha Male’s’ dirty work. Footage was also included of Skipper’s interview last week and Skipper is not happy about being over looked by TNA and Skipper promised to shock the world and become the first TNA Champion…
Match 3; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Ron Killings V Elix Skipper
It was announced by Mike Tenay before the match started that next week we would hear from ‘Alpha Male’ Monty Brown…
Ron Killings beat Elix Skipper via a disqualification after Skipper deliberately low blowed Killings right in front of the referee.
Winner; Ron Killings
Ron Killings was on the mat in pain as the referee was ordering Elix Skipper from the ring but Skipper had a message for Killings from Monty Brown. Skipper hooked Killings for his Overdrive but Killings countered with a back drop before clotheslining Skipper over the top rope. Elix Skipper quickly bailed up the ramp as Ron Killings paced the ring. Ron Killings issue with Elix Skipper and Monty Brown is far from over.
Mike Tenay and Don West hyped Low Ki being in action up next. Low Ki grabbed the attention of the wrestling world on the first TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Low Ki has travelled the world to learn his craft and Low Ki takes this business very seriously. Low Ki is a man of few words but Low Ki has made it clear by drawing a line in the sand that Low Ki will face any man. In 3 weeks time TNA will crown their first Champion and many are predicting that Low Ki could be the man that walks out of Gauntlet for the Gold as the first TNA Champion.
Match 4; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Low Ki V Chase Stevens
Low Ki beat Chase Stevens via pin fall after Low Ki sent Stevens flying back into the corner after a running dropkick. Low Ki nearly took Stevens head off with his Tidal Wave springboard kick. Low Ki finished Stevens off with his Ki Krusher in the middle of the ring.
Winner; Low Ki
Low Ki celebrated his victory and while Low Ki was celebrating a replay aired from last week and the stare off between Low Ki and AJ Styles. Low Ki was now at ringside motioning for the TNA title as Mike Tenay and Don West continued to sing Low Ki’s praises.
Jeremy Borash backstage announced that he has tried to get a word tonight with Jim Mitchell but Mitchell who is never shy about saying a few words refused to comment. Jim Mitchell knows Sabu very well and knows that his monster Abyss has never faced a man like Sabu before.
Footage aired from last weeks 8 Man Tag Team match Main Event as Tenay and West narrated over the footage highlighting Chris Harris scoring the biggest victory of his career over former World Heavyweight Champion, Steve Corino. Chris Harris is still undefeated here in TNA and the holds the best win loss record but next week Chris Harris will face his toughest challenge yet when he goes one on one against Steve Corino…
Recorded interview with Steve Corino aired. Steve Corino admitted Chris Harris was a talented wrestler who takes his profession really seriously and one day Chris Harris may be the TNA Champion. However last week Chris Harris victory over him regardless of Harris’ impressive win loss record so far was a huge upset. Steve Corino blamed his match against Jerry Lynn and the attack by Abyss after the match for the loss to Harris but next week Steve Corino shows what a Champion is made off when he ends Harris little streak and shows the world why Steve Corino will become the first TNA Champion.
Next Week; Chris Harris V Steve Corino!
Mike Tenay and Don West also noted that TNA Management are working on another big match for next week and later tonight Jeremy Borash may have an update on that development.
Match 5; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe) V Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond)
Diamonds in the Rough beat Briscoe Brothers via pin fall with a little help from Smooth Stallions (Mamaluke & Romeo). Stallions took out Mark Briscoe behind the referee’s back, which gave Diamond and Swinger an advantage over Jay and they were quick to take advantage and beat Jay after dropping Jay with their Problem Solver which is a double standing hangman’s DDT.
Winners; Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond)
Jeremy Borash was standing by backstage with Joey Matthews ahead of Matthews’ rematch against Jimmy Yang. Borash asked Matthews if he heard Yang’s comments last week when Yang called losing to Matthews as the lowest point of his career. Matthews had heard the comments. Borash asked Matthews if he had any thoughts and Matthews simply said no and walked away from Borash.

Winner; Jimmy Yang
Jimmy Yang continued celebrating in the aisle after the match until someone ran into the side of Yang sending Yang flying. William Muellar was the man who ran into Yang. Muellar again covered Yang’s head with a sheet as Yang was getting back to his feet, Muellar took down the now blinded Yang and got in a few more shots until TNA officials came out to stop the attack but William Muellar got out of dodge. Jimmy Yang was checked over by TNA officials after the attack. James Storm came out on to the stage and after Storm checked on Yang, Storm screamed at Muellar to come back and fight him like a man. William Muellar warned everyone in TNA to have eyes in the back of their head.
Jeremy Borash hyped next weeks TNA Total Non-Stop Action Pay per View which comes just 2 weeks before the night TNA will crown the first TNA Champion in a Gauntlet for the Gold match but next week we would hear from ‘Alpha Male’ Monty Brown and maybe Brown will share why he has targeted Ron Killings. Also it was announced earlier tonight that next week Chris Harris will face his toughest challenge yet when he takes on former World Heavyweight Champion, Steve Corino. Jeremy Borash then announced another huge match has been signed, next weeks Main Event will be… Jerry Lynn V AJ Styles!
Next Week; Main Event; Jerry Lynn V AJ Styles!
Mike Tenay and Don West couldn’t wait for next week not only would we see Chris Harris take on Steve Corino but now also Jerry Lynn will face AJ Styles. Next week we would either see the coming of age of Harris and Styles or the world will see that maybe right now it isn’t Chris Harris or AJ Styles time.
Up Next; Tonight’s Main Event; Sabu V Abyss w. Jim Mitchell…
Highlights aired from the last few weeks of ‘The Monster’ Abyss attacks on members of the TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling roster including Norman Smiley, Alan Funk, Briscoe Brothers, and from 2 weeks ago former World Heavyweight Champions, Steve Corino and Jerry Lynn.
Lights went out in the arena for a few seconds and when they came back on Sabu was standing in the ring pointing up to the skies, fans in Nashville Tennessee were on their feet for Sabu.
Match 7; Main Event Time Limit; 30 Minutes Sabu V Abyss w. Jim Mitchell
Sabu versus Abyss went to a no contest as the match official lost complete control of the match which saw Sabu and Abyss forget about the rules and fight around ringside where steel chairs and tables were brought into play…
Winner; No Contest
Table set up at ringside, one table propped up in the corner and a steel chair in the middle of the ring as Sabu bounced a second steel chair of Abyss’ head. Sabu set up a steel chair in the middle of the ring, ran the ropes and used the chair to jump on to the top rope. Sabu came back with a cross body from the top but Abyss caught Sabu and launched Sabu threw the propped up table in the corner, causing the table to smash to pieces and left Sabu crumbled in the corner holding his left arm and neck.
Abyss wasn’t done Abyss dragged Sabu to his feet by his left arm before trying to snap Sabu in half with Shock Treatment. Jim Mitchell was now in the ring intimidating the match official who was trying to get assistance. Ring bell was going off in the back ground another sign of help. Abyss seemed to be done with Sabu until Sabu who’s not one to give up from his back kicked away at Abyss so Abyss set up the 2 chairs in the middle of the ring quickly pulled Sabu to his feet and choke slammed Sabu on top of the two chairs. Sabu screamed out in pain, Tenay and West were worried about Sabu’s condition knowing Sabu must be seriously injured. Jim Mitchell called Abyss off then proudly announced Abyss as the first TNA Champion. Abyss turned around to see Sabu trying to crawl out of the ring…
Abyss stalked Sabu before grabbing the injured Sabu’s leg to drag Sabu back into harms way. Abyss lifted Sabu above his head walked towards the top rope and press slammed Sabu over the top rope and through the table that was set up at ringside!!
Abyss stood next to the ropes emotionless even Jim Mitchell looked shocked for a second before breaking out into an evil laugh. Sabu wasn’t moving and doctors and officials were quickly at ringside to check on Sabu. Mike Tenay, Don West, and David Penzer, everyone else at ringside including the fans stood in shock at Abyss actions. Ricky Steamboat came out to check on Sabu too. Last week Ron Killings vowed revenge on Monty Brown and Elix Skipper. Killings is banned from the arena tonight while Elix Skipper explains why he hooked up with Monty Brown. Smiley later in the night admitted that Christopher Daniels was one of the best Smiley had ever been in the ring with and had made Smiley think about his future in the business. Ricky Steamboat invited AJ Styles and Low Ki out to the ring and told them that they were the main reason everyone was talking about TNA and Steamboat couldn’t think of a better way to crown a first TNA Champion than AJ Styles V Low Ki. Jeff Jarrett again came out and made his feelings known about Steamboat’s praise for Styles & Ki. Styles leaned over the ropes and challenged Jarrett who backed up the aisle then Low Ki drew a line in the sand and challenged Styles to cross it. Ricky Steamboat convinced AJ Styles to back away and wait for the right time when the TNA title is on the line. Main Event saw Jerry Lynn beat Steve Corino. After the match Abyss came out and laid both Corino and Lynn out with Black Hole Slam. Abyss w. Jim Mitchell stood tall as the Pay per View went off the air as Mike Tenay asked who can stop Abyss from becoming the first TNA Champion.
Jeremy Borash the host of TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling welcomed everyone to the sixth TNA Pay per View. Borash hyped tonight’s huge Main Event which would see AJ Styles and Low Ki on the same team. Match 2; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Joey Matthews V Chase Stevens
Jimmy Yang joined Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary for the match. Yang admitted that he expected to come into TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and jump straight to the top. Yang was over confident and took everyone lightly thinking it was Yang’s time but clearly Yang was wrong and last week losing to Joey Matthews was his wake up call. Yang respects Matthews but should be beating the likes of Joey Matthews if he wants to be taken seriously in TNA. Jimmy Yang confirmed that losing to Joey Matthews last week was the low point of Yang’s career so far…
Joey Matthews beat Chase Stevens via pin fall after Stevens missed a tackle in the corner which set Stevens up for a Michinoku Driver from Matthews for the win. Joey Matthews now with consecutive victories and is now starting to show his true potential. Joey Matthews who hadn’t heard Jimmy Yang’s comments during the match acknowledged Yang after the match with a respectful nod of the head.
Winner; Joey Matthews
Jeremy Borash was standing by backstage with the newest members of the TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling roster Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger and Simon Diamond). Simon Diamond refused a handshake from Borash. Simon Diamond spoke on behalf of his team. TNA is looking to build their tag team division so of course they contacted Diamonds in the Rough the greatest all round tag team that has come along in years and a team that will go down in history alongside the Freebirds, Funks, Road Warriors, British Bulldogs and the Briscoe’s as one of the greatest tag teams off all time. Diamond cleared up that he wasn’t taking about Jay and Mark Briscoe who Diamond called punk kids. Simon Diamond is the Diamond while Johnny Swinger is the rough which Swinger smiled at. Tonight Diamonds in the Rough make their debut tonight in the Main Event and the world see why Diamonds in the Rough will become the first TNA Tag Team Champions.
Quick video aired looking at the ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm and the success Storm has been having with his Super Kick which is one of the main reasons Nashville’s new favorite son has an undefeated record of 5-0 and why Storm is among the favorites to become the first TNA Champion.
Match 3; Time Limit; 20 Minutes James Storm V Tony Mamaluke
James Storm beat Tony Mamaluke via pin fall after Storm caught Mamaluke with his Super Kick in mid air which folded Mamaluke up like an accordion. James Storm is on his way to becoming one of the most popular wrestlers in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Winner; James Storm
James Storm was making his way around ringside celebrating with the fans when William Muellar came from the crowd behind Storm tossed a blanket/sheet over Storm’s head taking away Storm’s vision. Muellar pushed the blinded Storm into the ring steps. Muellar put the boots to Storm before mounting Storm to get in a few more shots until a number of TNA officials ran out to stop Muellar’s attack but William Muellar quickly got away again through the crowd. James Storm sat at ringside holding his shoulder while being checked over by TNA officials. William Muellar warned that we wouldn’t see him coming and unfortunately for James Storm, William Muellar was right.
Jeremy Borash was standing by backstage with Chris Harris. Before interviewing Harris, Borash noted that if there is any news later tonight on the condition of James Storm he would get that news to the fans. Borash asked Chris Harris if ahead of tonight’s Main Event is Harris frustrated? because even though Harris has the best win loss record in TNA people seem to be talking more about the potential of Low Ki and AJ Styles than they are about Chris Harris. Chris Harris can’t worry about who people are getting excited about all Chris Harris can focus on is making sure he is ready for every challenge. Chris Harris trusts his talent, his desire and professionalism and knows it will take him one day to where he wants to be and that is at the top of this business as the TNA Champion.
Lights went out in the arena before as Jim Mitchell walked out on to the stage with a microphone in hand. Mitchell asked to roll the tape…
Highlights aired from the last few weeks of ‘The Monster’ Abyss attacks on members of the TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling roster including Norman Smiley, Alan Funk, Briscoe Brothers, and last week former World Heavyweight Champions, Steve Corino and Jerry Lynn.
Abyss the 300lb plus masked man was now standing beside Jim Mitchell. Mitchell said the entire TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling has the fear of Abyss hanging over them. Mitchell warned everyone that Abyss was a monster, a monster with a black heart that shows no remorse to any man and over the last few weeks Abyss has been doing exactly that and its all to send a message that on Wednesday 21st August ‘The Monster’ Abyss will become the first TNA Champion. Jim Mitchell repeated the question Mike Tenay asked last week, who can stop Abyss from becoming the TNA Champion. Jim Mitchell kept repeating the question before finishing saying there is no one who can save TNA from ‘The Monster’ Abyss! Mike Tenay and Don West were shown at ringside as they spoke about Abyss domination over the last few weeks. Tenay and West agreed that at this point they would have to make Abyss the odds on favorite to become the first TNA Champion.
Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn, AJ Styles, Low Ki and Chris Harris V Jeff Jarrett, Steve Corino and Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond)!
Tonight; Elix Skipper speaks with Jeremy Borash
Up Next; ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels will be in action!
Highlights were shown from last week and Christopher Daniels very impressive performance against Norman Smiley. Daniels toyed with the veteran Smiley before finally making Smiley tap out in the middle of the ring to the Koji Clutch. Norman Smiley later in the night admitted that Daniels may be the best wrestler he has ever faced and also admitted that Christopher Daniels has made Norman Smiley think about his future in the wrestling industry.
Match 4; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Jay Briscoe V Christopher Daniels
Christopher Daniels beat Jay Briscoe via pin fall after catching Jay Briscoe with his Angel Wings. Jay Briscoe impressed, brought the fight to Daniels but Christopher Daniels was just at a level above Briscoe and always in control before finishing Briscoe off with his Angel Wings.
Winner; Christopher Daniels
Christopher Daniels dropped to his knees in the half way up the aisle and the ‘Fallen Angel’ motioned for the TNA title.
Ron Killings outside the arena told the camera man that he needs to go home and get focused on becoming the TNA Champion. Killings got in his car and drove off as Mike Tenay hyped that Elix Skipper would be out next to explain his actions from two weeks ago…
Video package aired looking at the rivalry starting between Ron Killings and ‘Alpha Male’ Monty Brown which has seen Elix Skipper get involved.
Jeremy Borash standing in the middle of the ring introduced Elix Skipper. Skipper came out looking very smart in a three piece suit. Borash came out and asked Skipper why he attacked Ron Killings a couple of weeks back and asked if Skipper was put up to it by Monty Brown. Skipper said his boy Monty Brown was looking out for him. Monty Brown recognizes the skills that Elix Skipper has got even if TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling doesn’t. Skipper told Ron Killings it was nothing personal just business. Monty Brown should never have had to get Elix Skipper into TNA. Elix Skipper is a former champion, a history maker, a prime time player and is one of the best pound for pound wrestlers in the game today but TNA has no place for Elix Skipper. Elix Skipper wanted to be a part of TNA and is not afraid to say it hurt him to be overlooked for people with less skill but now TNA is going to get too see what Elix Skipper is all about because now on Wednesday 21st August everyone will see that Elix Skipper is the pound for pound best, that Elix Skipper is a prime time player, that Elix Skipper is a history maker and that Elix Skipper is a champion the first TNA Champion! Jeremy Borash told Elix Skipper that thanks to Monty Brown, tonight Ron Killings was banned from the arena but next week Killings will be back and TNA Management have made a big match for next week it will be Elix Skipper making his in ring debut against Ron Killings! Elix Skipper looked worried and told Borash that Monty Brown wouldn’t be very happy about this but Borash told Skipper that Monty Brown couldn’t do anything about the decision. Mike Tenay said Elix Skipper has every reason to be worried because next week Ron Killings is going to bring the nasty!
Low Ki was shown backstage making last minute preparations ahead of tonight’s Main Event. Tenay and West wondered if Low Ki and AJ Styles would be able to team together tonight.
Match 5; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Mark Briscoe V Romeo
Mark Briscoe beat Romeo via pin fall after Romeo scooped up Briscoe for a brain buster but Briscoe got behind Romeo and surprised Romeo with a liger roll for the 3 count. 16 year old Mark Briscoe scored a huge victory over a former champion in Romeo.
Winner; Mark Briscoe
Mike Tenay and Don West were standing at ringside both with a microphone in hand. Tenay hyped that we were moments away from a huge Main Event but first they had some huge news concerning next weeks Pay per View. Signed for next week, Ron Killings would take on Elix Skipper, a re match from last week would take place when Jimmy Yang faces Joey Matthews but that is not all because they have just got word of a blockbuster Main Event. Some one has stepped up and challenged ‘The Monster’ Abyss making his TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling debut a former World Heavyweight Champion, the homicidal, genocidal, suicidal, death defying Sabu!!
Exclusive footage was shown from during tonight’s Pay per View of when Jim Mitchell heard the news that next week Abyss would be taking on Sabu. Mitchell had no comment and stormed away from the camera man.
Next Week; Main Event; Sabu V Abyss w. Jim Mitchell!
Up Next; Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn, AJ Styles, Low Ki and Chris Harris V Jeff Jarrett, Steve Corino and Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond)…
Jeff Jarrett was standing by backstage with Jeremy Borash. Jarrett told Borash that in a couple of minutes the world will see that Ricky Steamboat is losing his mind. Jeff Jarrett again admitted that AJ Styles, Low Ki and Chris Harris have all the potential in the world but tonight they will be sharing the ring with the best TNA has to offer and the man who will without question become the first TNA Champion and tonight Jarrett will prove that they are not in his league.
Ricky Steamboat was backstage with AJ Styles, Low Ki and Chris Harris. Steamboat told them that the world was watching them closely waiting for them to fall on their face so tonight is their opportunity to go out there and beat four men who have been there and done it. Steamboat told them that tonight they win tonight they show they belong at this level and everyone will start taking them seriously as the future of this business.
Match 6; Main Event Time Limit; 30 Minutes 8 Man Tag Team Match Jerry Lynn, AJ Styles, Low Ki and Chris Harris V Jeff Jarrett, Steve Corino and Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond)
Jerry Lynn, AJ Styles, Low Ki and Chris Harris beat Jeff Jarrett, Steve Corino and Diamonds in the Rough via pin fall after Harris pinned Corino. Low Ki nearly took Corino’s head off with his Tidal Wave springboard roundhouse kick which set Corino up nicely for Harris Catatonic a swinging uranage.
Winners; Jerry Lynn, AJ Styles, Low Ki and Chris Harris
Jeff Jarrett was fuming after the match outside of the ring taking no blame for the loss and screaming that the victory means nothing.
Chris Harris had his hand raised in victory first Harris is still undefeated and tonight was without question his biggest win to date. Jerry Lynn came into the ring and congratulated Harris on his victory. AJ Styles rolled back into the ring slowly as Low Ki rolled out of the ring. Low Ki didn’t join in with his teams celebrations. AJ also didn’t really join in the celebration apart from a quick pat on Harris’ back. Chris Harris and Jerry Lynn were putting thoughts of becoming the first TNA Champion to the back of their minds for a few minutes to celebrate their win but the same couldn’t be said for AJ Styles and Low Ki.
AJ Styles was leaning on the ropes looking at Low Ki as Low Ki was now in the aisle looking at AJ Styles and motioning for the TNA title as the Pay per View went off the air.

TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay Per View 2 Hours Wednesday 17/07/2002 Nashville, Tennessee
Tonight’s Card
Main Event; Jerry Lynn V Steve Corino Chris Harris and Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe) V Sonny Siaki and Smooth Stallions (Mamaluke & Romeo) James Storm V Chase Stevens Norman Smiley V Christopher Daniels Jimmy Yang V Joey Matthews
Wednesday 21st August, 2002; TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling; TNA Championship: Gauntlet for the Gold!!
TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling open…
Two weeks ago Jeremy Borash announced that on Wednesday 21st August, 2002 TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling will crown the first TNA Champion when everyone on the TNA roster will compete in a Gauntlet for the Gold match. Last week Monty Brown and Christopher Daniels made their debuts both men vowed to become the first TNA Champion while Monty promised by the end of the night that everyone would be talking about Monty Brown. Abyss attacked again. AJ Styles, Low Ki, Steve Corino, Jerry Lynn and Chris Harris all scored victories. James Storm wants to win the TNA Title in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Jeff Jarrett beat Ron Killings in the Main Event after Elix Skipper debuted and attacked Killings with a steel chair which allowed Jarrett to beat Killings once again with his Stroke. Elix Skipper was wearing a New England Patriot’s jersey with Monty on the back. Elix Skipper it seemed was sent by Monty Brown to cost Ron Killings his match and by the end of the night it was Monty Brown everyone was talking about.
Jeremy Borash the host of TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling welcomed everyone to the fifth TNA Pay per View. Borash hyped tonight’s Main Event between two of the biggest names on the TNA Roster and two of the favorites to become the first TNA Champion. Borash also revealed that tonight Ricky Steamboat will be here and Steamboat has invited AJ Styles and Low Ki to meet him in the middle of the ring tonight.
Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn V Steve Corino!
Ron Killings was making his way down the ramp. Killings clearly not happy with last weeks event’s where Elix Skipper cost Killings his Main Event against Jeff Jarrett. Killings’ was not scheduled to be out here at this point. Killings rolled into the ring and demanded a microphone. Ron Killings told Elix Skipper and Monty Brown they have pissed off the wrong brother and Killings ordered Brown and Skipper to get out to the ring and face their consequences. No sign of either Elix Skipper or Monty Brown. Killings called Brown and Skipper cowards but promised he would get his hands on them. Killings’ wants to fight tonight, right now so Killings’ issued an open challenge to any man in the back. Alan Funk accepted Ron Killings challenge…
Match 1; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Ron Killings V Alan Funk
Ron Killings beat Alan Funk via pin fall after a sit out supflex. Killings’ was all over Funk and on a couple of occasions Killings came close to being disqualified.
Winner; Ron Killings
Jeremy Borash while Ron Killings was still in the ring came out to announce that Elix Skipper has signed a contract with TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling it was one of the terms of Monty Brown signing with TNA. Borash told Killings that next week Elix Skipper would explain why he cost Ron Killings his match last week but at Monty Brown’s request Ron Killings will be banned from the arena next week.
Mike Tenay and Don West spoke at ringside about Monty Brown’s demands. Monty Brown already thinks he’s a big shot but one day Ron Killings will get his hands on Monty Brown and Brown will have to prove himself in the middle of the ring. Tenay shifted attention to tonight’s Main Event between Jerry Lynn and Steve Corino and introduced interviews recorded by both men earlier in the week.
Steve Corino is still bitter about what he calls the lack of respect shown to him by TNA Management. Corino is a former World Heavyweight Champion. Corino will go on to become the first TNA Champion and the back bone of the company but no one seems to believe in him so Corino will knock out Jerry Lynn like he knocked out Jimmy Yang and then maybe people will realize that Steve Corino is the best and knocking Jerry Lynn out will be just be a bonus because Steve Corino is not exaggerating when he says he hates Jerry Lynn.
Jerry Lynn thinks Steve Corino is a scumbag. Steve Corino believes he’s better than he actually is and believes that he is owed something when the truth is Steve Corino is good but hasn’t proven to be great yet. Lynn thinks Steve Corino to prove he is great has to become the first TNA Champion but that is not going to happen because Lynn himself will become the first TNA Champion because no one wants it more and Lynn too is looking to cement his legacy and nothing would make Lynn prouder than becoming the first TNA Champion.
Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn V Steve Corino!
Match 2; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Jimmy Yang V Joey Matthews
Jimmy Yang had to be medically cleared to compete tonight after being knocked out last week by Steve Corino. Yang and Matthews are both still looking for their first victory in singles action.
Yang and Matthews touched fists before the match in a sign of respect…
Joey Matthews beat Jimmy Yang via pin fall after a jacknife roll up after Yang landed hard after missing a drop kick from the middle rope. Joey Matthews finally got his first victory at Jimmy Yang’s expense Yang could have done with a week away from the ring after being knocked out by Steve Corino last week.
Winner; Joey Matthews
Jimmy Yang was slow to his feet. Yang congratulated Matthews on his victory but Yang was clearly upset with another defeat.
Mike Tenay and Don West hyped that later tonight Ricky Steamboat has invited AJ Styles and Low Ki to the ring meaning for the first time since the first TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay per View, AJ Styles and Low Ki would share a ring with one another but up next it was time for the in ring debut of ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels who is standing by backstage with Jeremy Borash with pre match comments…
Christopher Daniels told Jeremy Borash that last week Daniels talked the talked but really everything Daniels said has been said before by someone else. Jeff Jarrett, Steve Corino, AJ Styles, Low Ki and others have claimed to be the best, have promised to become the first TNA Champion. What makes Christopher Daniels different to anyone else? Tonight Christopher Daniels will show everyone what makes him different and that is the gospel according to the Fallen Angel.
Match 3; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Norman Smiley V Christopher Daniels
Christopher Daniels beat Norman Smiley via submission after making Smiley tap out in the middle of the ring to Daniels Koji Clutch. Daniels messed with the veteran Smiley throughout the match and a couple of times Daniels could have Smiley away and had Smiley set up for some of his favored moves including Angel Wings only for Daniels to pass up the opportunities.
Winner; Christopher Daniels
Christopher Daniels leaned into the camera after the match and told everyone watching that they just seen Christopher Daniels can walk the walk. Mike Tenay and Don West admitted that Christopher Daniels made a believer out of them tonight.
Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn V Steve Corino!
Mike Tenay at ringside shared a bit of history between Jerry Lynn and Steve Corino ahead of tonight’s Main Event. Lynn for many years was held back not given an opportunity because of his size but eventually Lynn overcame everything holding him back and became the World Heavyweight Champion only to lose the title a little over a month later to Steve Corino!
Up Next; Ricky Steamboat invites AJ Styles and Low Ki to join him in the middle of the ring!
Jeremy Borash standing in the middle of the ring introduced wrestling legend former World Heavyweight Champion, Ricky Steamboat. Steamboat joined Borash in the middle of the ring. Borash before handing over to Steamboat announced that Ricky Steamboat is now a full time member of TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling management. Borash and Steamboat shook hands.
Ricky Steamboat didn’t waste any time and invited AJ Styles and Low Ki to come out and join him in the middle of the ring. AJ came out first quickly followed by Low Ki. Steamboat thanked them both for coming out. Steamboat reminded everyone that a few weeks ago Steamboat came out and heaped praise on AJ Styles even saying that Steamboat couldn’t think of a better man to be the first TNA Champion than AJ Styles. Steamboat now realizes what he said wasn’t fair and disrespectful to others especially Low Ki. TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling is grabbing everyone’s attention and its fair to say that a lot of that attention is thanks to AJ and Low Ki tearing the house down that first night and now Ricky Steamboat believes its fair to say that he couldn’t think of no better way than crowning a first TNA Champion by having the Gauntlet for the Gold Match come down to AJ Styles V Low Ki and this time we get a winner and we crown the first TNA Champion in style. Fans were on their feet. Styles and Low Ki eyes were locked on one another. Steamboat continued to praise Styles and Ki by calling them future legends as Jeff Jarrett stormed down the aisle.
Jeff Jarrett stood at ringside without a microphone but shouting his disapproval. Jarrett called what Ricky Steamboat was saying ridiculous. Jarrett reminded Steamboat that he won another Main Event last week, he’ still undefeated here in TNA, a multi time World Heavyweight Champion and he’s the biggest star in TNA. Jarrett said Low Ki and AJ Styles haven’t shown him anything and they won’t get the job done. AJ Styles leaned over the ropes and challenged Jarrett to fight him. Jarrett shook his head and backed away while Ricky Steamboat screamed that Jarrett was threatened by AJ Styles and Low Ki. Styles turned around to see Low Ki standing in the middle of the ring. Low Ki drew a line in the sand with his foot and challenged AJ Styles to cross it which brought the fans to their feet and AJ went to take Low Ki up on his challenge but Ricky Steamboat got in front of AJ Styles and told them both that there’s was a different kind of fight and they should do it when it matters most when the TNA title is on the line. AJ Styles rolled out of the ring after being asked by Ricky Steamboat. Mike Tenay said everyone wants to be the first TNA Champion and things are starting to heat up.
Wednesday 21st August, 2002; TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling; TNA Championship: Gauntlet for the Gold!!
Jeremy Borash caught up with an angry Jeff Jarrett backstage who was tossing things around in anger. Jeff Jarrett understands that TNA wants to find the brightest stars in the business and there’s no denying that AJ Styles, Low Ki are among the best but the truth is, too compare them to him after only five weeks is disrespectful. They have done nothing yet beat no one yet and there is no way anybody but he is leaving August 21st as the TNA Champion. Jeff Jarrett finished up by saying that Ricky Steamboat has lost his mind.
Chase Stevens the former ‘Golden Gloves’ boxing champion was in the middle of the ring awaiting his opponent ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm.
Match 4; Time Limit; 20 Minutes James Storm V Chase Stevens
James Storm beat Chase Stevens via pin fall after catching Stevens with his Super Kick. James Storm extends his record too 5-0 and while everyone seems to be talking about AJ Styles and Low Ki it would be wrong to take your eyes of James Storm who seems to have what it takes to shock the world and become the first TNA Champion.
Winner; James Storm
Highlights were shown from earlier tonight of Christopher Daniels beating Norman Smiley with minimum effort. Jeremy Borash was with Norman Smiley backstage while Smiley was being checked over by the TNA Doctors. Borash asked Smiley for his thoughts on Christopher Daniels. Smiley said it pains him to admit that tonight he was given a lesson in the middle of the ring live on Pay per View. Smiley has shared the ring with most of the big names in this business at one point or another and he can honestly say he has never been in the ring with any one as good as Christopher Daniels. Smiley said Daniels was always ten steps ahead and Daniels has Smiley thinking whether its time to hang up the boots once and for all. Ricky Steamboat accidentally interrupted the interview to speak to Smiley asking Smiley to meet him in his office when he’s done. Borash tried to ask Steamboat for his thoughts on Jeff Jarrett but Steamboat refused to answer any questions.
Match 5; Time Limit; 20 Minutes 6 Man Tag Team Match Chris Harris and Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe) V Sonny Siaki and Smooth Stallions (Mamaluke & Romeo)
Mike Tenay noted that during the week both Briscoe Brothers challenged ‘The Monster’ Abyss to a match but TNA Management refused to make either match but even making the challenge shows how brave, crazy or stupid the Briscoe Brothers really are.
It was also announced during the match that next week we would see the debut of another tag team Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond) who had some success the last couple of years in ECW.
Chris Harris and Briscoe Brothers won the match via submission after Harris made Mamaluke tap out to his Texas Cloverleaf. Mamaluke accidently caught Romeo with a kick to the face; Harris speared Romeo off the apron and planted Mamaluke with a Spinebuster before locking Mamaluke in the cloverleaf.
Winners; Chris Harris and Briscoe Brothers
Chris ‘Wildcat’ Harris holds the best record of anyone on the TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling roster 6-0 but Mike Tenay said it was now time to see Harris really tested so we could really see what Chris Harris is made off.
Video package aired looking at William Muellar who was trained by legend and former World Heavyweight Champion, Harley Race before being kicked out of his class and Muellar’s threats that everyone needs to have eyes in the back of their heads because no one will ever see Muellar coming.
Mike Tenay and Don West at ringside hyped next weeks TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay per View. Next week Ron Killings was banned from the arena while we hear from Elix Skipper on why he jumped Ron Killings and his alliance with Monty Brown. Also next week we would see not only the debut of Diamonds in the Rough (Johnny Swinger & Simon Diamond) but also of one of the most exciting wrestlers out there today, the high flying daredevil known as Amazing Red!
Up Next; Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn V Steve Corino…
Jerry Lynn and Steve Corino were both shown just moments before tonight’s Main Event. Huge Main Event because both men are among the favorites to become the first TNA Champion and at this early stage of TNA’s existence are two of the bigger names so both men who can’t stand one another are going to want to come away with the victory.
Mike Tenay and Don West when speaking about the Main Event mentioned Steve Corino wanting more respect from TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling management and one way for Corino to earn their respect and everyone else’s would be by beating Jerry Lynn.
Match 6; Main Event Time Limit; 30 Minutes Jerry Lynn V Steve Corino
Jerry Lynn beat Steve Corino via pin fall after nailing Corino with his TKO. Hard fought match which seen both men give everything and hit all of their big moves but in the end it was Jerry Lynn who came away with the big win.
Winner; Jerry Lynn
Jerry Lynn had his hand raised in victory and motioned for the TNA Championship before Steve Corino floored Jerry Lynn from behind. Corino feeling the effects of the match though collapsed by Lynn too. Referee was ordering Corino to leave the ring when all of a sudden Abyss was stepping over the top rope and into the ring with Jim Mitchell at ringside.
Abyss dropped Steve Corino with a Chokeslam before pulling Lynn back to his feet by the hair. Shock Treatment for Jerry Lynn from ‘The Monster’ Abyss. Jim Mitchell was calling Abyss the first TNA Champion while the attack was going on. Abyss wasn’t finished first Steve Corino took the Black Hole Slam and then Jerry Lynn took one too. Abyss laid out two of the top names in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Mike Tenay asked who could stop Abyss from becoming the first TNA Champion and the Pay per View went off the air with Abyss and Jim Mitchell standing tall in the middle of the ring over both Steve Corino and Jerry Lynn.

TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay Per View 2 Hours Wednesday 10/07/2002 Nashville, Tennessee
Tonight’s Card
Main Event; Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett AJ Styles V Sonny Siaki Jerry Lynn V Joey Matthews Jimmy Yang V Steve Corino Low Ki V Alan Funk Chris Harris V Chase Stevens Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe) V Smooth Stallions (Mamaluke & Romeo)
Last week Jeff Jarrett called out Ricky Steamboat and told Steamboat he was the biggest star in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and him and not Steamboat’s pick AJ Styles would become the first TNA Champion. Abyss attacked, Low Ki was victorious while Steve Corino lost his temper with Joey Matthews and it was announced that Monty Brown had signed with TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Main Event saw Chris Harris & James Storm beat AJ Styles & Jerry Lynn and Jimmy Yang & Ron Killings. Harris after the match asked Storm to be his full time tag team partner only to be rejected and covered in beer by Storm. Chris Harris stood and watched as James Storm celebrated his victory with his hometown as Storm’s comments from earlier in the night were repeated James Storm one day would come back to Nashville, Tennessee as the TNA Champion.
TNA host Jeremy Borash welcomed everyone watching at home and the fans in Nashville, Tennessee to the fourth TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay per View. Tonight the fans would truly find out the meaning of Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling because most of the top stars in TNA will be in action tonight. That’s not all because also tonight we would hear from Monty Brown for the first time since signing with TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and in the Main Event Ron Killings is looking to gain some revenge on Jeff Jarrett who himself wants to prove to everyone including Ricky Steamboat that he is the biggest star in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and send a message to everyone else on the roster that Jarrett would become the first TNA Champion.
Tonight’s Main Event; Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett!
Mike Tenay and Don West were shown at ringside. Tenay hyped that also tonight we would be seeing the debut of a number of fresh promising talent including the much spoken about ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels. Tenay and West’s attention turned to tonight’s opening match where we would see the debut of two recognized full time tag teams the Briscoe Brothers and Smooth Stallions.
Match 1; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe) V Smooth Stallions (Mamaluke & Romeo)
Romeo and Mamaluke of Smooth Stallions both have recent history as part of different tag teams Mamaluke is a former ECW Tag Team Champion while Romeo is one half of the first ever WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions. Briscoe Brothers are rookies to this business Mark is only 16 years old while Jay is 17 years old meaning that in some states in America both men are underage but tonight TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling is willing to give the Briscoe Brothers an opportunity.
Briscoe’s nearly took Tony Mamaluke’s face off. Mamaluke was sat in the corner and Mark caught Mamaluke with a low running drop kick while Jay smashed Mamaluke with a low running boot to the face. Romeo ran at Briscoe’s but Romeo was dropped with a double press slam before Jay lifted Romeo on to his shoulders so Mark could nail Romeo with a springboard flying clothesline. Springboard Doomsday Device was enough for the win.
Winner; Briscoe Brothers
Briscoe Brothers impressed Mike Tenay, Don West and the fans in attendance. Tenay was impressed by how tough Jay & Mark Briscoe were considering they are still teenage boys. Don West guessed that tonight wasn’t the first fight Jay & Mark have been in. It is fair to say that over the next few weeks we would be seeing more of Briscoe Brothers.
Abyss floored both Briscoe Brothers from behind as Jay & Mark reached the top of the aisle. Jay Briscoe tried to charge at Abyss but was dropped by a boot to the face. Abyss tossed Mark Briscoe into the security railings. Jim Mitchell was out screaming orders at Abyss. Abyss dragged Jay Briscoe to ringside and rolled Jay into the ring. Mark attacked Abyss from behind laying into Abyss stopping Abyss from getting back into the ring but Abyss was too big and strong for Mark hitting Mark with a hard clothesline. Abyss from ringside press slammed Mark Briscoe into the ring. Jay met Abyss with a drop kick which only rocked Abyss so Jay rocked Abyss with a second. Mark was back to his feet, Jay checked on Mark and they planned on striking Abyss together but Jim Mitchell leaned under the bottom rope and grabbed one of Jay’s feet and one of Mark’s long enough to distract them so Abyss could plant both Briscoe’s with a Chokeslam at the same time. Shock Treatment for Mark Briscoe and Black Hole Slam for Jay Briscoe finished the destruction. Abyss stood tall in the ring in the middle of the Briscoe Brothers as Jim Mitchell was screaming that Abyss would be the first TNA Champion.
Mike Tenay and Don West were at ringside they spoke about Abyss’ attack on Briscoe Brothers before hyping that tonight for the first time we would hear from ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels and Monty Brown but up next highlights from last weeks Main Event then Jeremy Borash is standing by with ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm.
Chris Harris & James Storm beat AJ Styles & Jerry Lynn and Ron Killings & Jimmy Yang in the Main Event after Storm pinned Yang following his super kick. After the match Chris Harris asked Storm if they wanted to make their team permanent and attempt to become the first TNA Tag Team Champions but James Storm rejected Chris Harris.
James Storm was now standing by backstage with Jeremy Borash. Borash congratulated Storm on his victory last week Borash asked Storm if he was right when he says last weeks win was the biggest win of Storm’s career. Storm agreed. Borash wondered why Storm turned Harris down. Storm is an individual doesn’t play well with others, Chris Harris is talented but a little quiet and to serious the perfect word to describe Harris would be professional. While the ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ Storm is a redneck a redneck who likes to fight, drink, hunt and who dreams of being the TNA Champion. Storm last week mentioned how one day he dreams of coming home to Tennessee as the TNA Champion there is only one thing that could top that and that is becoming the TNA Champion in Nashville, Tennessee and that is exactly what is going to happen in 6 weeks when James Storm wins the Gauntlet for the Gold match and becomes the TNA Champion.
Match 2; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Chris Harris V Chase Stevens
Chase Stevens making his TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling debut here tonight was a boxing golden gloves champion in high school and was trained by grizzly veteran Tracy Smothers. Chris ‘Wildcat’ Harris with a victory tonight will have the best win loss record in these early days of TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling currently Harris and James Storm both share a 4-0 perfect record.
Harris caught Stevens with his boot to the shoulder setting up a back drop but Stevens floated over Harris’ shoulder and rocked Harris with a jaw breaker. Stevens to the middle rope and jumped at Harris but Harris countered what ever Stevens was planning with a spine buster. Harris locked Stevens in the Texas clover leaf and Stevens had to tap out.
Winner; Chris Harris
Chris ‘Wildcat’ Harris with another victory here tonight taking his record to 5-0 all Chris Harris has to do is continue doing what he is doing and on Wednesday 21st August, Chris Harris will become the first TNA Champion.
Mike Tenay and Don West at ringside tonight Low Ki, Steve Corino, AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn will be in action plus in the Main Event, Ron Killings is looking to gain some revenge on the self pro-claimed biggest star in TNA, Jeff Jarrett.
Match 3; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Low Ki V Alan Funk
Video aired before the match taking a closer look at Low Ki. Low Ki is 22 years old born and raised in Brooklyn, New York city and has been training to become a professional wrestler for four years. Low Ki has travelled the world impressing everyone that has come in sight of him. Wednesday 19th June after the first TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay per View the world was talking about Low Ki & AJ Styles. Highlights were shown from the classic time limit draw between Low Ki & AJ Styles. Low Ki does his talking in the ring and since his match with AJ. Low Ki has scored two straight victories and last week Low Ki drew a line in the sand and challenged any man before motioning for the TNA Championship.
Alan Funk hasn’t had much luck these first three weeks. Alan Funk has been knocked out three times by James Storm’s super kick and last week Funk was dismantled by ‘The Monster’ Abyss. Like Alan Funk or not you have to give Funk credit because he keeps coming back for more and tonight Funk could turn his fortunes around and shock the world by beating Low Ki.
Low Ki was too much for Alan Funk. Ki dropped and rocked Funk with a rolling heel kick and after waiting for Funk to get back to his feet Low Ki nearly took Funk’s head off with his springboard Tidal Wave kick. Ki went up top only for Funk to stop Ki in his tracks, Funk climbed the turnbuckle only for Ki to unload on Funk with a number head butts before knocking Funk backwards off the top rope with a Mongolian chop. Funk fell backwards getting caught up in the tree of woe position. Low Ki with Alan Funk defenseless smashed a dangling upside down Funk right in the chest with a Mushroom stomp! Fans were on their feet going mental as Low Ki covered Funk for the win.
Winner; Low Ki
Fans were going mental for Low Ki a holy crap chant went around the arena as the match official raised Low Ki’s hand in victory. Don West said there is no denying that Low Ki has a killer instinct. Tenay noted Low Ki would need that killer instinct to become the first TNA Champion. Low Ki again drew a line in the sand with his foot in the middle of the ring before dropping to his knees and motioning for the TNA title. Low Ki is intimidated by no man.
Alan Funk was getting medical attention at ringside after the match it seemed as if Alan Funk had been knocked out cold once again tonight.
Mike Tenay and Don West were shown at ringside hyping that up next we would hear Tenay’s exclusive interview with new signee former NFL player Monty Brown. Tenay also introduced some exclusive footage from the interview which TNA management has debated showing or not but in the end it may help show what Monty Brown is really like…
Mike Tenay arrived at the restaurant with Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling staff around mid day in preparation for his interview with Monty Brown. Tenay was told that Monty Brown’s agent had been in touch and Monty was running late. Tenay ended up waiting about an hour for Brown’s arrival and when Brown arrived he arrived with a huge entourage of staff including bodyguards. Monty Brown never apologized for being late and even refused to shake Tenay’s hand. Monty Brown refused to start his interview until Brown had ordered some food and drink.
Interview finally started and Mike Tenay welcomed Monty Brown to TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Tenay praised Brown’s achievements in the NFL which saw Brown star in the biggest game of the year twice the Super Bowl. Tenay asked Monty Brown why he would turn his attention to the wrestling business and does Brown think he can have the success he had on the gridiron in the squared circle because Brown has his doubters including publicly last week by Ron Killings. Monty Brown laughed under his breath seemingly annoyed with Tenay’s questioning. Brown wanted to tell Tenay something. Monty Brown is a superstar; Brown was the Alpha Male of the gridiron and will be the Alpha Male of Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Monty Brown and his brand brings worldwide recognition to TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and by the end of this Wednesday’s Pay per View everyone will see how powerful the Alpha Male brand truly is and the world will be left talking about Monty Brown. Tenay asked when Brown would show up at his first TNA Pay per View. Brown is not just a wrestler or a football star Brown is a business man and Brown will show up when its right for him but one thing is for sure Monty Brown will be there August 21st because on that night Monty Brown will become the first TNA Champion.
Mike Tenay back at ringside said his interview with Monty Brown ended abruptly and Monty’s representatives told Mike Tenay to leave as soon as Brown’s food order arrived. Don West wondered what Monty meant when he said by the end of tonight we would see how powerful the Alpha Male brand is.
Tonight’s Main Event; Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett!
Up Next; Jerry Lynn will be in action…
Match 4; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Jerry Lynn V Joey Matthews
Jerry Lynn helped trained Joey Matthews and has a lot of respect for the talented youngster. Backstage after last weeks show and during the week Lynn has been very vocal about the disrespect Steve Corino showed Matthews after their tag team match last week. There is a long history and no love lost between Jerry Lynn and Steve Corino.
Jerry Lynn and Joey Matthews shook hands before the bell…
Joey Matthews really stepped up his game and put in his best performance to date here in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Matthews stayed with Lynn throughout the match. Matthews avoided Lynn’s TKO and sent Lynn into the corner but the Matthews ran into a kick to the face and Lynn followed through with a tornado DDT only for Matthews to block and drop Lynn on his face. Matthews got pumped called for something and got up on the middle rope. Lynn got up and Matthews launched himself at Lynn only for Lynn to catch Matthews over his shoulder in position for his TKO but Matthews looked for a sunset flip roll up only for Lynn to sit down on Matthews’ chest and hook both of Matthews’ legs long enough for the three count.
Winner; Jerry Lynn
Jerry Lynn now has a record of 2 wins 2 losses out of 4 matches but the 2 defeats came in tag team matches in which Jerry Lynn was not the man pinned. Jerry Lynn has a dream of becoming the TNA Champion and Lynn has the talent and experience to make that happen and become the first TNA Champion. Joey Matthews on the other hand is still looking for his first win having lost all 4 of his matches but Matthews could take heart in his performance tonight.
Jerry Lynn and Joey Matthews embraced after the match with Lynn raising Matthews’ hand showing respect, fans also showed Matthews respect.
Tonight; AJ Styles V Sonny Siaki!
Tonight; ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels Debuts!
Match 5; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Jimmy Yang V Steve Corino
Recorded interview aired with Steve Corino aired as Corino made his way down the aisle for his match against Jimmy Yang. Corino still feels disrespected by everyone associated with TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Corino wasn’t even advertised for the first Pay per View. Corino isn’t happy about the lack of attention and affection shown to him it would be easy to just become the TNA Champion which Corino will do but Corino needs to make people suffer and them people are the people TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling management seem to adore over him.
Mike Tenay sent it backstage to TNA Reporter, Jeremy Borash. Borash reported that there has been altercation backstage between Steve Corino the man in the ring and Joey Matthews and Jerry Lynn. Corino and Matthews crossed paths as Corino was coming out and Corino laid into Matthews verbally telling Matthews to go find a monitor and watch a real winner in action. Jerry Lynn heard the altercation and went for Corino but TNA officials got in between Lynn and Corino before ordering Corino out to the ring.
Steve Corino out of no where cracked Jimmy Yang on the chin with a roaring elbow which caused Yang’s knees to buckle. Yang was moving but seemed out of it but Corino toyed with Yang and waited for Yang to get back to his feet before nearly taking Yang’s head off with a running Yakuza kick. Yang was out like a light. Corino still never went for the cover. Corino sat Yang up and pulled down his own knee pad setting up Yang for a running knee but the match official Andrew Thomas decided to call for the bell and award the match to Steve Corino.
Winner; Steve Corino
Andrew Thomas was straight over to check on Jimmy Yang. Thomas lay Yang down and holding Yang’s head as Yang was laid down. Andrew Thomas called for medical assistance as Steve Corino leaned in the corner with a big satisfied smile on his face.
Replays were shown of the roaring elbow which cracked Jimmy Yang on the jaw starting his downfall. Yang’s eyes rolled to the back of his head on impact.
Steve Corino rolled out of the ring looked into the camera and had a message for everyone watching. Steve Corino is not an after thought Steve Corino is a dangerous man and Steve Corino will become the first TNA Champion.
While doctors were checking on Jimmy Yang at ringside Mike Tenay sent it to Jeremy Borash who was standing by backstage with Jeff Jarrett ahead of tonight’s Main Event.
Jeff Jarrett had a huge smile on his face and took great delight in asking Jeremy Borash how AJ Styles got on in last weeks Main Event. AJ Styles once again was in the Main Event and never got the job done. Ricky Steamboat wants to tell Jeff Jarrett the biggest star in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling that he is scared of the challenge of facing up to AJ Styles, Low Ki and Ron Killings. Ricky Steamboat and everyone else needs to realize that Jeff Jarrett is the challenge, Jeff Jarrett is the standard here in TNA and tonight in the Main Event once again Jeff Jarrett will come away victorious and just incase there are people out there stupider than Ricky Steamboat, Gauntlet for the Gold, August 21st Jeff Jarrett will make history and become the first TNA Champion. Jeff Jarrett walked off and as Jarrett left William Muellar walked up behind Borash without Borash knowing Borash turned around and got a fright to see Muellar standing in front of him. Muellar told Borash that no one will see him coming.
Mike Tenay and Don West wondered about the timing of Jeff Jarrett’s interview tonight coming just before AJ Styles match against Sonny Siaki. Tenay knows Jeff Jarrett well and its Jarrett playing mind games with the younger AJ Styles. Don West wondered if that proves that Jeff Jarrett is threatened by the challenge of AJ Styles.
AJ Styles was shown backstage. AJ Styles from the first TNA Pay per View has impressed and got the world talking about AJ’s huge potential.
Match 6; Time Limit; 20 Minutes AJ Styles V Sonny Siaki
Sonny Siaki ran his mouth before his debut but so far Siaki has lost both of his first two matches. Siaki earlier today told Jeremy Borash that tonight TNA’s golden boy AJ Styles would not enjoy Siaki tonight.
AJ Styles clipped Sonny Siaki with an overhead kick which Don West called a Pele kick. Styles came off the top rope with a flying forearm before nipping up and calling for his Styles Clash which Styles set up and hit in the middle of the ring which was enough to give Styles an impressive victory.
Winner; AJ Styles
AJ Styles with his most dominant and impressive victory in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling so far and AJ needed that victory with the eyes of the world now watching him. AJ rolled out of the ring when you could hear Mike Tenay calling for AJ; Tenay had a microphone in hand.
Tenay congratulated AJ Styles on his victory and Tenay asked AJ for his comments on his victory and Jeff Jarrett’s pre match comments. AJ catching his breath told Mike Tenay that to him it doesn’t matter if you’ve wrestled one match or one thousand matches and AJ couldn’t care less if he’s last match of first match. AJ is willing to step inside the ring with any man including Jeff Jarrett to prove that AJ has what it takes to be the best.
Up Next; ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels Debuts!
Ron Killings was shown backstage getting ready for tonight’s Main Event while talking with Ricky Steamboat who is visiting again tonight but Mike Tenay has heard reports that Ricky Steamboat is in talks with TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling management about joining the TNA Roster in some capacity.
A church choir came out on to the stage a big choir about 25-30 singers singing a hymn as smoke covered the floor. Choir parted to allow the debuting ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels to make his way down the aisle. Daniels was dressed in black robe with white collar like a priest plus shades with his hands together in a praying position. Christopher Daniels entered the ring and requested a microphone.
Christopher Daniels pulled off his white collar and black robe, Daniels was wearing a nice suite underneath. Daniels admitted that may be he went a little far with the choir and the dress but Daniels needed to get everyone’s attention and make everyone understand that he is a gift from God he is the ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels and he is the best wrestler in the world today. Daniels knows that for the last 3 and a half Pay per Views the fans have had every man come out here and claim that they are the best or that they would become the first TNA Champion. Daniels is going to do the same but there is one difference Christopher Daniels is better than every one else. Christopher Daniels is a man of his word and when Daniels says something is going to happen then it’s the truth and its going to happen so tonight July 10th 2002, Christopher Daniels is telling the world that August 21st 2002 ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels not AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, Abyss, Low Ki, Steve Corino, Jeff Jarrett, Ron Killings, Chris Harris, James Storm is going to win the Gauntlet for the Gold match and make history by becoming the first TNA Champion. Daniels knows its easy to talk the talk but next week the fans would get their first glimpse of Christopher Daniels in action and if the fans are to stupid to believe him tonight after next week they will have no choice but to believe that Christopher Daniels would become the first TNA Champion and that is the word of the ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels.
Mike Tenay and Don West agreed that Christopher Daniels can talk the talk and next week and over the next couple of weeks we will see if Christopher Daniels is as good as he says he is. From what Mike Tenay does know about Christopher Daniels who has wrestled all over the world Daniels could very well be a top tier player here in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Up Next: Tonight’s Main Event: Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett!
Wednesday 17th July, TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling… • Main Event; Jerry Lynn V Steve Corino • ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm will be in action • ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels makes his in ring debut
Match 7; Main Event Time Limit; 30 Minutes Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett
Video aired looking at the short history between Ron Killings and Jeff Jarrett. TNA’s debut Pay per View saw Jarrett use his experience to beat a fired up Ron Killings via count out after pushing Killings into the ring post. Jarrett in the Main Event 2 weeks ago cheated to beat Killings by low blowing Killings by kicking the ring ropes in between Killings legs which set Killings up for Jarrett’s patent Stroke.
Jeff Jarrett tried to win the match by count out again after pushing Ron Killings back first into the ring post but this time Killings just about managed to get back into the ring. Jeff Jarrett with match official Scott Armstrong distracted tried to once again kick the ropes in between Killings legs but Killings caught Jarrett’s leg spun Jarrett around and dropped Jarrett with a jumping side kick.
Killings dropped Jarrett with a spinning forearm which set Jarrett up for his scissors kick but Jarrett avoided the kick and sent Killings into the turnbuckle and followed Killings in but Killings floated over Jarrett, Jarrett bounced off the turnbuckle as Killings did a back flip Jarrett ran back at Killings but Killings did the splits to dodge the charging Jarrett but Jarrett ran into Scott Armstrong knocking Armstrong out of the ring. Killings floored Jarrett with a leg lariat. Ron Killings at the second attempt dropped Jarrett with his scissors kick but there was no match official to make the pin fall.
Ron Killings leaned over the ropes to check on Scott Armstrong who was now moving when Killings was struck in the back with a steel chair! Killings turned around to see Elix Skipper standing in front of him with a steel chair in hand wearing a New England Patriots jersey with Monty on the back. Skipper hit Killings again in the ribs with the chair which dropped Killings to his knees. Jarrett noticed Scott Armstrong was about to get back in the ring so Jarrett ordered Skipper out of the ring. Skipper stood outside of the ring as Jarrett pulled Killings back to his feet so Jarrett could drop Killings with his Stroke. Jarrett covered Killings as Scott Armstrong made a very slow three count.
Winner; Jeff Jarrett
Mike Tenay and Don West were sure that Monty Brown was behind Elix Skipper’s attack on Ron Killings. Last week Ron Killings doubted Monty Brown and this week after Monty Brown vowed that everyone would see the power of his brand and by the end of the night everyone would be talking about the Alpha Male Monty Brown. Elix Skipper showing no emotion made his way back up the aisle.
Jeff Jarrett rolled out of the ring, Jarrett was hurt feeling the effects of a tough match and it seemed Jarrett was moments away from defeat if it wasn’t for the referee getting knocked down and Elix Skipper’s attack. Jarrett motioned for the TNA title before dropping to his knees. Pay per View went off the air with Ron Killings being checked on by officials as Mike Tenay vowed that next week Ron Killings will be after revenge and will go hunting Elix Skipper and Monty Brown.

TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling open…
Last week Jeremy Borash announced that on Wednesday 21st August, 2002 TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling will crown the first TNA Champion when everyone on the TNA roster will compete in a Gauntlet for the Gold match. Ricky Steamboat predicted that AJ Styles would become the first TNA Champion. Low Ki, Chris Harris and James Storm all looked impressive on their way to victory and all three want to make history and become the first TNA Champion. Main Event saw Jeff Jarrett low blow Ron Killings with the ring ropes before dropping Killings with the Stroke giving Jarrett and Steve Corino the victory over Killings and Jerry Lynn. Jeff Jarrett let everyone know after the match that he would become the first TNA Champion.
Jeremy Borash the host of TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling welcomed the fans to the third Pay per View from TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Borash hyped that tonight TNA would announce the signing of a free agent that TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling are very excited about. Tonight’s show would see three tag team matches which were put together by TNA management teams who management believe would work together well and then in tonight’s Main Event the three teams would meet in a tag team Triple Threat match.
Mike Tenay and Don West were shown at ringside. Tenay again welcomed the fans watching at home to the show, Tenay added a couple of notes to Borash’s news including that the men involved in tonight’s tag team matches only found out who their tag team partners were a couple of days ago. Jeff Jarrett last week accused Ricky Steamboat of kissing AJ Styles ass and tonight according to sources Jarrett plans on calling Ricky Steamboat out tonight.
Tonight’s opening tag team match would see Steve Corino team up with Joey Matthews to take on Jimmy Yang and Ron Killings earlier today Corino and Matthews spoke with Jeremy Borash…
Steve Corino asked TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling why they teamed him with Joey Matthews and Corino was told that Matthews reminds them off Steve Corino they are the same type of character. Corino told Matthews that was the biggest complaint Matthews has ever and would ever be given tonight Corino wants Joey Matthews to prove to Corino that Joey Matthews is going to follow in his footsteps which are big foot steps to follow because Corino is a former World Champion and the back bone of TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Match 1; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Ron Killings & Jimmy Yang V Joey Matthews & Steve Corino
Clips were shown from last week’s Main Event where Jeff Jarrett used a low blow and his Stroke to pin an impressive Ron Killings. It was noted by Mike Tenay that Ron Killings and Jimmy Yang are close friends and even travel the roads together.
Ron Killings took Steve Corino over the top rope with a clothesline as Corino grabbed hold of Yang. Yang sent Corino into the security railings and then Yang launched himself over the top rope on to Corino. Killings dropped Matthews on his face with a sit out supflex and then finished Matthews with an axe kick to the back of Matthews head.
Winners; Ron Killings & Jimmy Yang
Ron Killings was all business tonight rebounding from his two close losses to Jeff Jarrett in recent weeks. Killings and Yang embraced after the match this was also Yang’s first victory in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Steve Corino was upset and rolled straight into the ring and demanded Joey Matthews get to his feet referee Rudy Charles was checking on Matthews but Corino again demanded Matthews to get back to his feet. Matthews got back to his feet and Corino was right in Matthews face screaming at Matthews about the defeat. Matthews hung his head but Corino pushed Matthews down. Corino spoke into the camera while making his way back up the aisle letting everyone know that Steve Corino would become the TNA Champion.
TNA host Jeremy Borash was standing by backstage with Chris ‘Wildcat’ Harris ahead of tonight’s next tag team match.
Borash announced that up next Chris Harris would team up with James Storm to take on Alan Funk and Sonny Siaki. Chris Harris hasn’t said much over the last two weeks Harris has done his talking in the ring with two very professional performances resulting in a record of 2 wins and zero losses. Borash asked Harris what his secret was. Chris Harris treats every match like it’s the biggest match of his career and Harris lives and breaths this sport. Harris was asked about teaming with ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm tonight Storm wouldn’t have been Harris first choice but Harris will make the most of the situation. James Storm came out of no where got in Harris face and screamed at Harris lets go partner!
Match 2; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Chris Harris & James Storm V Alan Funk & Sonny Siaki
Sonny Siaki and Alan Funk seemed to be having a disagreement before the match with Siaki telling Funk to follow his lead but Funk wasn’t too fond of that idea.
It was clear that Siaki and Funk were having differences but Don West couldn’t get over the totally different personalities that James Storm and Chris Harris had. Harris is quiet and focused it seems while Storm is very loud and in your face playing with the fans and having fun while Harris waited in their corner.
Siaki missed a charge in the corner and hit the turnbuckle shoulder first after Storm moved out of the way. Harris clipped Funk’s shoulder with a boot which spun Funk round Harris lifted Funk for a back supflex but Funk managed to flip over Harris shoulder on to his feet but Storm turned Funk around as Harris turned around to see James Storm nearly kick Funk’s head off his shoulders with a super kick. Harris gave Storm a quick look before covering Funk for the win.
Winners; Chris Harris & James Storm
James Storm waited for Chris Harris to get back to his feet and when he did Storm wanted a high five from Harris which Storm got eventually. Chris Harris looked a bit in shock whether is was shock at how well he and James Storm worked together or if it was Harris being impressed with James Storm’s super kick which knocked Alan Funk out the third week in a row. Tenay and West were impressed with the chemistry between Harris and Storm. Chris Harris seemed to step back and watch as James Storm celebrated the win with the fans both James Storm and Chris Harris are still undefeated here in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling which made Don West wonder if Chris Harris was scouting Storm as a possible threat to Harris becoming the first TNA Champion.
Tonight; Jeff Jarrett has vowed to call out Ricky Steamboat because Jarrett is un happy about Steamboat kissing AJ Styles ass last week! Plus TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling will announce the signing of a free agent management are very excited about. Up Next the last tag team match with a spot in tonight’s Main Event up for grabs between Konnan who is finally making his TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling debut and Norman Smiley against AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn! While Tenay and West were hyping the rest of tonight’s card with Sonny Siaki standing in the corner TNA officials were still checking on Alan Funk after Funk was knocked out for the third time in three weeks by James Storm.
Abyss music hit in the arena and Jim Mitchell led Abyss to the ring. Officials continued to check on Alan Funk as Sonny Siaki stood in the corner. Abyss made his way into the ring and as soon as Abyss entered the ring Sonny Siaki bailed out of the ring not wanting any part of the monster Abyss. Abyss just walked through the officials who were trying to protect Alan Funk; Abyss pulled Funk to his feet with one hand which was wrapped around Funk’s neck. Abyss held Funk’s head close to Abyss’s while Abyss laughed manically in Funk’s face. Chokeslam from Abyss saw Funk’s head bounce of the mat but Abyss wasn’t done Abyss then spiked Alan Funk with the possibly back breaking Shock Treatment. Jim Mitchell had gotten a microphone and Mitchell warned everyone that no man is safe from his monster Abyss.
Mike Tenay and Don West were concerned about Alan Funk. Abyss proved tonight that everything Jim Mitchell said about Abyss last week about Abyss having a black heart and how Abyss has no emotion is true. While paramedics were checking on Alan Funk, Tenay sent it too Jeremy Borash who was standing by backstage with both Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles.
AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn were standing side by side backstage as Jeremy Borash asked Styles and Lynn if they had any problem teaming with the other tonight. Lynn spoke first. Jerry Lynn would be more than willing to team with AJ Styles or another promising young wrestler because Lynn is looking to leave his mark on this company and Lynn could do that by becoming either the first TNA Champion or one half of the first TNA Tag Team Champions. AJ Styles is appreciative of the kind words from Ricky Steamboat, Jerry Lynn and everyone else but Styles doesn’t see himself as a young wrestler looking for an opportunity. AJ doesn’t need a veteran or an all time great to take him under their wing AJ has paid his dues is his own man and Styles feels like he belongs. Week after week AJ Styles will go out into the ring and do what he does better than anybody else and Styles is here to compete against the Jerry Lynn’s, Jeff Jarrett’s, Steve Corino’s and Low Ki’s and become a Champion here in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. AJ looked Lynn in the eye and told Lynn tonight it would be an honor to team with Lynn but after tonight Lynn like everybody else is some one standing in the way of AJ Styles becoming the TNA Champion. AJ Styles left the interview while Lynn took in AJ’s words before telling Borash that he likes AJ Styles.
Match 3; Time Limit; 20 Minutes AJ Styles & Jerry Lynn V Konnan & Norman Smiley
AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn came out first and were followed by Norman Smiley who was off last week recovering from the beating he received from Abyss on the first TNA Pay per View. Tonight Norman Smiley teams up with Konnan who no showed the first TNA Pay per Views. Up next one of the biggest stars to ever come out of Mexico makes his TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling debut. Konnan’s music hit in the arena and ring announcer David Penzer introduced Konnan but Konnan didn’t come out. Mike Tenay seen Konnan earlier today and tried to catch up with Konnan but Konnan wasn’t in the mood for conversation.
Referee, Andrew Thomas nor the wrestlers knew what to do next with Konnan’s no show. Jeremy Borash came out on to the stage and first apologized to the fans for Konnan walking out on tonight’s show. Borash doesn’t know what is going on with Konnan. Borash revealed that when Norman Smiley was told by management at the start of the week that he was teaming with Konnan they warned Norman that there was always the possibility that Konnan would no show. Konnan showed up tonight but Konnan has walked out. Management had a back up plan for Norman Smiley and they are going to stick to that back up plan so tonight AJ Styles & Jerry Lynn will receive a bye to tonight’s Main Event and will face Ron Killings & Jimmy Yang and Chris Harris & James Storm in tonight’s Main Event and up next tonight Norman Smiley will go one on one against Low Ki!
Winners; AJ Styles & Jerry Lynn
Low Ki came out for his match as Mike Tenay noted that neither the victory nor the loss would be on AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn or Norman Smiley’s personal record. Low Ki got to the ringside as AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn were leaving as AJ walked past Low Ki they couldn’t get their eyes off one another and the fans were on their feet. Low Ki and AJ Styles had a classic on the first TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay per View when they wrestled to a 30 minute time limit draw. Fans since that night have been requesting a rematch between AJ Styles and Low Ki. Mike Tenay thinks AJ and Low Ki’s classic have brought TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling to more fans attention.
Match 4; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Low Ki V Norman Smiley
Norman Smiley attempted a clothesline at one point and Low Ki like something out of the matrix just bent backwards ducking the clothesline. Norman who was then behind Ki ran back at Low Ki and without looking back to see where Smiley was Low Ki jumped over the on coming Smiley and then dropped Smiley with a rolling liger kick. Mike Tenay and Don West have never seen anything like Low Ki.
Low Ki drop kicked Norman Smiley’s feet while Smiley was on the apron Smiley fell and hit his face on the apron. Low Ki ran the apron and dropped Smiley with a soccer kick to the chest. Mushroom Stomp off the apron onto Smiley’s chest. Smiley was rolled back into the ring and Low Ki followed Smiley in waited for Smiley to get back to his feet. Ki Krusher but Low Ki kept hold of Smiley’s head and locked Smiley in a Dragon supflex. Smiley tapped out immediately.
Winner; Low Ki
Low Ki had his hand raised in victory and then Low Ki stood in the centre of the ring and drew out a line with his foot challenging any man to face him. Low Ki showed respect to Smiley by bowing to Smiley before Low Ki motioned for the TNA Championship.
Mike Tenay and Don West were shown at ringside. Low Ki has to be among the early favorites to become the first TNA Champion. Wednesday 21st August, 2002 TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling crowns its first TNA Champion when every member of the TNA roster meet in a Gauntlet for the Gold match.
William Muellar was spotted standing in the crowd. Mike Tenay reminded everyone that Muellar is yet to debut here in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling but Muellar has warned everyone apart of TNA to have eyes in the back of their head because William Muellar is going to strike very soon.
Jeff Jarrett’s music hit in the arena and shortly after the former World Champion and self proclaimed biggest star in TNA made his way down the aisle.
Quick highlights from last week were shown when Ricky Steamboat predicted that AJ Styles would make history and become the first TNA Champion.
Jeff Jarrett was now in the ring with a microphone in hand. Jarrett called out Ricky Steamboat. Ricky Steamboat accepted the challenge and joined Jarrett in the ring. Jarrett doesn’t want Ricky Steamboat to say a word Jarrett just wants Steamboat to listen. Last week Ricky Steamboat came out here and filled AJ Styles with crap. Jarrett admits that AJ Styles, Low Ki and others are very impressive have great potential but they haven’t earned anything yet and Steamboat is out here giving them the keys to the castle promising them the world when they haven’t achieved anything they haven’t shown Jarrett anything the only one who has shown Jeff Jarrett anything is Ron Killings and what Killings showed in getting in the ring with the biggest star in TNA and the first TNA Champion is that Killings is either very brave or very dumb while Jarrett showed Ron Killings that Killings doesn’t belong at Jarrett’s level. Jarrett stepped up to Steamboat and questioned whether Steamboat doesn’t think Jeff Jarrett is as good as Jarrett knows he is so if Steamboat has forgotten just how good Jarrett is or just doubts how good he is Jarrett would have no problem kicking Ricky Steamboats ass. Steamboat grabbed the microphone from Jarrett. Steamboat knows how good Jeff Jarrett is Jarrett is one of the best in the game today and probably at this moment is the biggest name in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling but that doesn’t change the fact that Jarrett is threatened and intimidated by the challenge that stands in front of him Jeff Jarrett has to prove himself once again against the likes of AJ Styles, Ron Killings and Low Ki because here in TNA everyone starts at the same level and while Jarrett is great maybe AJ Styles, Ron Killings, James Storm, Abyss, Chris Harris and Low Ki are even better. Jarrett smacked the microphone out of Steamboat’s hand. Jarrett and Steamboat were face to face and Jarrett could be heard telling Steamboat that he is the biggest star in TNA and he will prove it by becoming the first TNA Champion.
Everybody in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling has something to prove including the more established wrestlers like a Jeff Jarrett or a Jerry Lynn because as Mike Tenay said that just because Low Ki, AJ Styles haven’t been around as long doesn’t mean they are not great. Jeremy Borash is standing by backstage waiting to introduce the latest signing by TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Jeremy Borash backstage said TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling are very excited to announce the signing of a man who has appeared in a Super Bowl former NFL player… Monty Brown!
Footage was shown of Monty Brown in action for his former teams Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots including footage of the 1994 Super Bowl Super Bowl XXVIII. A photo of Monty Brown finished the video while fans chanting Monty in the background could be heard and graphic announcing that next week we would hear from Monty Brown.
Mike Tenay and Don West were very excited about the signing of Monty Brown who even while playing football made no secret of his desire to become a professional wrestler. Monty has been training on and off for a number of years to become a professional wrestler and now Monty Brown is a professional wrestler signed to a TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling contract, very excited to hear what the former linebacker Monty Brown has to say next week.
Jeremy Borash was backstage again this time standing by with Ron Killings ahead of tonight’s Main Event. Borash wanted to address two other things with Killings before they speak about tonight’s Main Event. First Borash asked for Killings thoughts on the signing of Monty Brown. Ron Killings may have been the man on the gridiron but things will be very different in TNA, Monty may find out that his dream may become a nightmare because maybe Monty Brown is not cut out to be a professional wrestler and that’s the truth. Borash had news for Ron Killings and that is next week Ron Killings will be in the Main Event once again when Ron Killings goes one on one against Jeff Jarrett. That’s what Ron Killings is talking about, Killings was excited about the announcement. Jarrett got lucky week one, cheated week two but next week Ron Killings is going to bring the nasty and whip Jeff Jarrett’s ass. As for tonight’s Main Event Ron Killings and his boy Jimmy Yang were going to let out their frustrations and their anger but they still are but now Ron Killings is going to show Jeff Jarrett what is coming to him next week and that’s the truth and Jarrett’s going to find out the truth hurts.
Wednesday 10th July, 2002; TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling… • Main Event: Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett • Monty Brown
Mike Tenay and Don West also announced that on next weeks Pay per View TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling will open its doors and give an opportunity to a number of fresh promising talent including the highly regarded much spoken about ‘Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels. Mike Tenay got word in his headset that backstage Jeremy Borash was again standing by backstage with James Storm who has requested some time to speak.
Jeremy Borash standing next to James Storm, Storm pulled the microphone to his mouth. Tonight TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling debuted in Nashville Tennessee, the hometown of the ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm the Main Event sees six of the top talents the world of professional wrestling share a ring so in front of his family, friends, neighbor’s, drinking buddies and everyone sitting at home watching live on Pay per View Storm will kick someone’s teeth down their throats and show everyone that everything Storm has sacrificed has been worth it and one day James Storm will be back in Nashville, Tennessee as the TNA Champion.
Match 5; Main Event Triple Threat Match Time Limit; 30 Minutes AJ Styles & Jerry Lynn V Jimmy Yang & Ron Killings V Chris Harris & James Storm
AJ Styles clocked Chris Harris with his overhead kick. Harris rolled out of the ring but rolled straight into a right hand from Ron Killings. Killings and Harris went at it until AJ came off the top rope with a splash onto both men. Jimmy Yang ran at Jerry Lynn but Lynn lifted Yang over his shoulders but while Lynn was holding Yang, James Storm snuck into the ring and caught Lynn with a jaw cracker. Spinning heel kick from Yang dropped Storm. Yang waited for Storm to get to his feet before going up top. Storm got up, moonsault from Yang but Storm avoided it Yang landed on his feet but in an instant Storm dropped Yang with his super kick. Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles were both just too late in breaking up Storm’s match winning pin fall.
Winners; Chris Harris & James Storm
Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles were both upset with the loss their first in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling but on the bright side both men are yet to be pinned or made to submit.
Fans were on their feet for their home town boy James Storm who was running around the ring in celebration. Chris Harris was watching from outside of the ring while referee Scott Armstrong raised Harris arm in victory. Storm and Harris both have a 4-0 win streak. Chris Harris didn’t do much celebrating Harris made his way down the aisle and was met by TNA host Jeremy Borash…
Jeremy Borash congratulated Chris Harris on his and James Storm’s victory in tonight’s Main Event. Storm who was still celebrating with his fans walked straight past Harris and Borash heading backstage. Borash noted that Harris wasn’t to happy about teaming with James Storm to begin with but it couldn’t have worked out any better because Harris and Storm tonight scored the biggest victory of their careers. Borash asked Harris if he would like to make history with James Storm and become the first TNA Tag Team Champions. James Storm came back holding a box of beers. Storm opened a couple of beers and passed one to Harris. Harris asked Storm if he wanted to team up full time and go after the TNA Tag Team titles. Storm said no straight away and smashed his bottle in Harris bottle causing Harris bottle to fizz up and Storm’s bottle to spray all over Chris Harris. Chris Harris tossed his bottle to the floor and stood there angry, embarrassed covered in beer while James Storm rolled back into the ring celebrated and toasted his hometown fans as the third Pay per View from TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling went off the air.

TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay Per View 2 Hours Wednesday 26/06/2002 Huntsville, Alabama
Tonight’s Card
Main Event; Jerry Lynn & Ron Killings V Steve Corino & Jeff Jarrett AJ Styles V Jimmy Yang Low Ki V Joey Matthews James Storm V Alan Funk Chris Harris V Sonny Siaki
TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling open…
Black and white still shots were shown from last week’s Main Event pitting AJ Styles against Low Ki the match ended up going to a 30 Minute time limit draw but will go down in history as a classic evidence by the standing ovation both AJ Styles and Low Ki got once the match was over from every one in attendance.
Jeremy Borash the host of TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling welcomed the fans to the second Pay per View from TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Borash reminded fans that tonight he would have an announcement on when and how the first TNA Champion will be crowned but that’s not all because also after last weeks classic which has got the wrestling world buzzing tonight both AJ Styles and Low Ki will be in action plus there was a huge Main Event signed pitting arguably the four most recognizable names in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling.
Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn & Ron Killings V Steve Corino & Jeff Jarrett!
Mike Tenay and Don West introduced the show from ringside. Opening tonight with a rematch from last week where James Storm beat Alan Funk in seven seconds. Alan Funk demanded this rematch. Added to every match now on screen and on the giant screen in the arena is a timer so the fans can keep up with the match time limits.
Match 1; Time Limit; 20 Minutes James Storm V Alan Funk
‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm in a recorded promo which aired before the match admitted that he didn’t know himself that he had such a tasty super kick. Storm had fun last week celebrating his win with greats like Ricky Steamboat and Harley Race but winning in seven seconds doesn’t really show what James Storm is all about so tonight ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ will do just that.
Storm had Funk up for his Eye of the Storm (spinning power bomb) but Funk got behind Storm and spun Storm around but Storm beat Funk to the punch with a jaw cracker which set Funk up nicely for a super kick. Storm connected and the match was over.
Winner; James Storm
‘Tennessee Cowboy’ showed last week’s victory over Alan Funk wasn’t a fluke with a second victory over Funk this week. James Storm may have come across a lethal weapon with his super kick.
Ricky Steamboat was shown backstage, Steamboat a legend of this sport has asked for time in the ring tonight to address something. Storm bumped into Steamboat. Steamboat congratulated Storm on his win and they seemed to joking about Storm’s super kick. Jeremy Borash walked past because up next Jeremy Borash would announce how and when the first TNA Champion will be crowned.
Before we hear from Jeremy Borash, Don West announced that ahead of tonight’s Main Event where Jerry Lynn teams with Ron Killings to take on Jeff Jarrett and Steve Corino we would hear from all four men involved starting with Jeff Jarrett.
TNA Management have finally come to their senses and put their biggest star in the Main Event. Jarrett said for how much people are raving and praising AJ Styles and Low Ki the fact is neither of them could get the job done. That’s what separates the AJ Styles and Low Ki’s from Jeff Jarrett being able to close it’s what makes Jarrett a multi time World Champion getting the job done and it is what Jarrett is going to do tonight when he beats Ron Killings and Jerry Lynn in the Main Event.
Jeremy Borash was standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand. Borash ran through the highlights of last weeks debut Pay per View. James Storm beat Alan Funk in seven seconds. Abyss dismantled Norman Smiley. Ron Killings took Jeff Jarrett to the limit and in the Main Event AJ Styles and Low Ki went to a 30 minute time limit in an instant classic. Borash knows that a lot of people are unhappy about the fact that the match went to a draw but the truth is draws happen in sports and lets be honest it makes everyone excited about the potential rematch between AJ Styles and Low Ki. Borash reminded the fans of what was still scheduled for tonight’s show. Ricky Steamboat would be here later tonight. Low Ki and AJ Styles will both be in action and in the Main Event the four most recognizable names in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling will in the Main Event when Jeff Jarrett and Steve Corino take on Jerry Lynn and Ron Killings.
Jeremy Borash was out here however to announce to everyone when the first TNA Champion will be crowned and how, Borash announced on Wednesday 21st August, 2002 which will be the 10th TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay per View would be the night when TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling crown their first TNA Champion and everyone on the roster at the time will be eligible to earn the right to make history and become the first TNA Champion. Gauntlet for the Gold!! That is how the first TNA Champion will be crowned in a Gauntlet for the Gold match. A Gauntlet for the Gold match has a set number of wrestlers. Two men enter and then every two minutes after another wrestler enters the match until all men have entered. Eliminations occur when a wrestler is thrown over the top rope and BOTH feet touch the ringside floor until we are down to TWO wrestlers then the match will STOP a referee will enter the ring and the remaining two men will meet in a One Falls to a Finish match with the winner of that match becoming the first TNA Champion. Everyone now knows how the first TNA Champion will be crowned Borash said the only thing now that the wrestlers of TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling have to do is keep their place on the TNA roster.
Wednesday 21st August, 2002; TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling; Pay per View: TNA Championship: Gauntlet for the Gold!!
Still to come tonight both AJ Styles and Low Ki will be in action. Low Ki takes on Joey Matthews while AJ Styles will face Jimmy Yang, will AJ and Ki be able to handle the pressure knowing that the eyes of the wrestling world are upon them once again tonight? Up next Sonny Siaki makes in his in ring debut against Chris ‘Wildcat’ Harris and earlier today Siaki had some comments on his in ring debut.
Sonny Siaki couldn’t do it to the TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling fans he couldn’t make them wait any longer because Siaki knows that the fans having nothing good going on in their lives so tonight earlier than planned the fans unlike Chris Harris will get to enjoy themselves some Siaki.
Match 2; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Chris Harris V Sonny Siaki
Siaki hit the turnbuckle chest first after Harris avoided a Siaki charge. Harris with a boot to Siaki’s shoulder a back drop and a leg drop off the middle turnbuckle. Harris waited for Siaki to get back to his feet. Catatonic wanted by Harris but Siaki landed on his kicked Harris in the mid section hooked Harris’ head but Harris swept Siaki’s legs and quickly locked Siaki in a Texas Cloverleaf and Siaki had no where to go so Siaki had to tap out.
Winner; Chris Harris
Sonny Siaki wouldn’t have enjoyed that losing via tap out in his debut match against ‘Wildcat’ Chris Harris who continues to look impressive with his second victory in as many weeks.
Ahead of tonight’s Main Event, earlier today we heard from ‘King of Old School’ Steve Corino…
Steve Corino is a fan of this sport a student of this game. Steve Corino is a former World Champion who has dedicated his life and his family to this sport. Corino has missed his Son growing up all for this sport. People may not like his actions but Corino doesn’t apologize for them because everything Corino has done and made him one of the best in this business today but apparently that is not enough for TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling management because last week on the debut show Corino wasn’t advertised in advance wasn’t mentioned throughout the show. Corino feels disrespected by TNA. The way TNA management treated Corino last week was no way to treat the man who will go on to become the first TNA Champion and the man who will carry TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling on his back, if you don’t believe Corino watch tonight’s Main Event.
Footage was shown from last week of Abyss dismantling Norman Smiley. Tenay and West spoke about how dominant and impressive Abyss was last week. Tenay noted that Norman Smiley luckily avoided injury but has been told by TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling management to rest this week. Abyss scary and last week put everyone in TNA on notice.
Jim Mitchell and Abyss were in the ring. Abyss was pacing around the ring while Mitchell who was wearing a red suite had a walking cane in one hand and the microphone in the other. Mitchell has heard what everyone has been calling Abyss after Abyss performance last week which saw Norman Smiley spend the night in hospital. Abyss has been called dangerous, ruthless, cold and a monster. Abyss is a monster, Mitchell told everyone what makes a monster a monster is a man who has a black heart, shows no compassion has no emotion and could look the devil in the eye and not blink. Abyss would not blink and it is just an added bonus that Abyss stands almost seven feet tall and weighs close to 400 lbs. Last week Mitchell hopes every in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling took notice of what Abyss is capable off because someone’s destiny has been given a date Wednesday 21st August, 2002 the first TNA Champion will be crowned but after only seeing Abyss in action last week you already have to ask yourself who is there that can stop Abyss from becoming the first TNA Champion.
Tonight’s Main Event; Jerry Lynn & Ron Killings V Steve Corino & Jeff Jarrett!
Up Next; Low Ki V Joey Matthews!
Mike Tenay and Don West were shown on camera. Tenay and West again spoke about last weeks Main Event between Low Ki and AJ Styles. Reviews of the match were shown on camera as Tenay and West spoke. Everyone is talking about AJ Styles and Low Ki but now AJ and Low Ki have a huge target on their chest because everyone will want to beat AJ Styles and Low Ki now the world are watching AJ Styles and Low Ki. West also admitted that it seems from Jeff Jarrett’s comments last week and earlier tonight that there is some resentment in the TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling when it comes to Styles and Low Ki being given the honor of headlining the first TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay per View over arguably more established stars like Jeff Jarrett and Steve Corino.
Low Ki was shown leaving the locker room and making his way out for his match against Joey Matthews who will be looking to respond after last weeks defeat to Chris Harris and there is no better way to respond than by beating the man the world is talking about Low Ki.
Match 3; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Low Ki V Joey Matthews
Low Ki sent Joey Matthews flying backwards dangerously into the turnbuckle with a running missile dropkick to the chest. Matthews managed to pull himself to his feet only for Ki to nearly take Matthews’ head off with his Tidal Wave kick to the head. Low Ki lifted Matthews up for his Ki Krusher a fisherman’s buster but before spiking Matthews Ki ran Matthews into the top turnbuckle and then Low Ki dropped Matthews on his head for the win.
Winner; Low Ki
Low Ki just tore through Joey Matthews tonight. Joey Matthews was out cold and the referee Andrew Thomas was worried enough to call for assistance to check on Matthews. Low Ki tonight showed that he has no problems getting the job done like Jeff Jarrett questioned earlier tonight. Low Ki standing on the middle rope looking out into the crowd and the fans were on their feet for Low Ki was has impressed once again tonight showing off his killer instinct which Ki needs to take him to the top in this business.
Low Ki left the ring as Tenay noted that up next it would be AJ Styles turn to see if he can live up to last weeks high expectations and Jeremy Borash was standing by backstage with AJ Styles.
JB was standing by with AJ Styles. Borash told AJ Styles that the world was talking about AJ Styles match against Low Ki a match that will go down in history as a classic. Borash asked AJ if he could tell the fans a little bit more about AJ Styles. AJ is a young man, with a young family from a small time with a dream a desire to be the best wrestler in the world. AJ has heard what Jeff Jarrett has had to say about AJ failing to finish Low Ki about being able to close that’s disrespectful to AJ Styles and Low Ki but AJ will have no problem getting in the ring with Jarrett and showing Jarrett that AJ Styles can close can get the job done.
Match 4; Time Limit; 20 Minutes AJ Styles V Jimmy Yang
Jimmy Yang told Mike Tenay earlier today that last week AJ Styles and Low Ki stole the show but tonight it would be Jimmy Yang that steals the show.
Yang caught Styles with a spinning heel kick in the corner. Styles dropped and rolled out on to the ring apron. Yang leaned over the top rope to pick Styles up but Styles caught Yang off guard with a kick to the face. Springboard flying forearm from Styles dropped Yang and then Styles called for his Styles Clash before dropping Yang on his face with his Styles Clash for the win.
Winner; AJ Styles
AJ Styles had to work hard for his victory tonight over a game hungry Jimmy Yang but in the end AJ Styles came away with the win. Yang like he did last week again showed his respect to his opponent by raising AJ Styles hand in victory. AJ Styles stayed in the ring to celebrate as Yang rolled out of the ring.
Ricky Steamboat made his way out stopping in the aisle to share some kind words with Jimmy Yang before making his way towards the ring. Yang turned around to see Ricky Steamboat joining AJ Styles in the ring.
Ricky Steamboat and AJ Styles shook hands before Steamboat requested a microphone. Steamboat congratulated Styles on his victory. AJ Styles has impressed Ricky both this week and last. Steamboat called AJ’s match with Low Ki one of the greatest matches he has seen for many years. Steamboat see’s something in AJ Styles and is happy and proud to have AJ Styles be a part of TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Steamboat said what makes TNA different from every other wrestling company in the world what separates TNA from every other wrestling company in the world is that TNA has AJ Styles! Steamboat called Styles phenomenal. TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling is giving a platform to new fresh talent giving guys like AJ Styles, James Storm, Ron Killings, Jimmy Yang, Chris Harris and Low Ki to name a few their chance to grab their opportunity around the throat and create a legacy of their sweat, desire, dreams and talent. Ricky Steamboat is excited about TNA’s future and is excited about the fact that on Wednesday 21st August TNA will crown their first TNA Champion and Ricky Steamboat couldn’t think of anyone better to represent TNA Total Non-Stop Action as the first TNA Champion than the phenomenal AJ Styles. AJ Styles seemed touched by Steamboat’s words the two men shook hands again and shared some words away from the microphone before Steamboat raised AJ Styles arm again.
AJ Styles must feel honored to hear those words come out of Ricky Steamboat’s mouth out of the mouth of a former World Champion and one of the most respected well liked men in this sport has ever come across. AJ Styles stayed in the ring after Ricky Steamboat had left. AJ took a deep breath while taking in Ricky Steamboat’s kind words. Don West wondered if the pressure, Ricky Steamboat’s praise and everyone’s expectations may eventually get too much for AJ Styles.
Up next it was time for tonight’s Main Event pitting Jerry Lynn & Ron Killings teaming up against Steve Corino & Jeff Jarrett but before tonight’s Main Event we would have another look at new TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling, William Muellar then Jeremy Borash will let everyone know what is scheduled for next weeks TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling Pay per View.
William Muellar was shown sitting in his car outside of the Von Braun Centre earlier today watching as a number of different TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling wrestlers arrive at the arena including Jeff Jarrett, Ron Killings, Jimmy Yang, Chris Harris, Joey Matthews, Steve Corino. Muellar will be making his arrival very soon and he wants to remind everyone in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling to have eyes in the backs of their head because remember Muellar gets off on hurting another man and Muellar prefers it if you can’t see it coming because then there’s nothing you can do about it!
Jeremy Borash said it seems that William Muellar is one sick individual. Next week live on Pay per View, TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling will hopefully announce the signing of a free agent that TNA management is very excited about. Plus the show will feature a number of tag team matches with teams put together by TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling management that they feel would make a good team. There would be three semi final matches with the three winning teams meeting in next week’s Main Event.
Mike Tenay and Don West wondered about who this free agent was that TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling was excited about possibly signing, we would all find out the answer next week but up next is tonight’s Main Event but first pre match comments with Jerry Lynn then Ron Killings.
TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling has given a lot of young promising wrestlers the chance to step up and last week on the debut show we seen that with Low Ki and AJ Styles. Abyss and James Storm also had everyone talking with their performance while Jerry Lynn has to give credit to Jimmy Yang who was a tough talented performer. Also look out for Joey Matthews who Lynn knows well from working with Matthews in the past. Jerry Lynn is excited about TNA’s future and looks forward to testing himself against the future of this business while Jeff Jarrett and Steve Corino seemed threatened and they should because if Corino and Jarrett aren’t willing to work that bit harder everything they have achieved in the past will mean nothing and there are a number of men in TNA looking to take the top spots.
Ron Killings brought the nasty to Jeff Jarrett last week and Killings had the former World Champion on the rocks but in the end Killings got too excited and Jarrett snuck away with the win tonight with mr. veteran Jerry Lynn in his corner Killings will keep his head and with the world watching Ron Killings will show the world that he belongs with the very best this business has to offer and that’s the truth and nothing but the truth!
Match 5; Main Event Time Limit; 30 Minutes Jerry Lynn & Ron Killings V Steve Corino & Jeff Jarrett
Jeff Jarrett during the match while Steve Corino was in control of Jerry Lynn jumped off the ring apron and approached the announce table to tell Mike Tenay and Don West that he was disgusted by Ricky Steamboat coming out here earlier tonight and in Jarrett’s words kissing AJ Styles ass.
All four men were in the ring Lynn wanted to spike Corino with a tornado DDT from the middle rope but Corino caught Lynn and wanted to dump Lynn over the top rope but Lynn brought Corino over the top rope with him.
Ron Killings dropped Jeff Jarrett with a flying spinning forearm, Killings hooked Jarrett’s head for a sit out supflex but Jarrett got behind Killings. Stroke countered by Killings who quickly managed to drill Jarrett with his axe kick to the back of Jarrett’s head. Killings into the cover and Jarrett looked beat but the referee Scott Armstrong was distracted by Lynn and Corino still going at it outside of the ring. Killings had enough of the waiting and took both Lynn and Corino out with a somersault plancha.
Scott Armstrong was ordering Lynn and Corino back to their corners as Ron Killings reentered the ring through the middle rope but Jarrett kicked the ropes low blowing Killings and setting Killings up perfectly for the Stroke which Jarrett hit, Scott Armstrong turned around to see Jarrett covering Killings and made the match winning pin fall.
Winners; Steve Corino & Jeff Jarrett
Jerry Lynn and Steve Corino were holding the back of their heads outside of the ring after Ron Killings had taken both men out. Killings was on his back holding in between his legs as a result of Jeff Jarrett’s illegal move.
Jeff Jarrett last week used his experience to beat Ron Killings but this week Jeff Jarrett just down right cheated to put away Ron Killings who would have beaten Jarrett if it was not for referee Scott Armstrong being distracted.
Jeff Jarrett had his hand raised in victory before leaning over the ropes to tell the fans and everyone else watching that Jeff Jarrett would become the first TNA Champion.

Jerry Lynn is excited about being in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Lynn has followed the relatively short careers of AJ Styles, Low Ki and looks forward to testing him against the future. Lynn also has seen Joey Matthews and Jimmy Yang in action and Lynn’s been impressed but the fact is Lynn is here because Lynn would love nothing more than being the first TNA Champion. Lynn wants to be able to say he helped TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling grow into the best possible company it can but to do all that Lynn has to win matches so that’s where Jimmy Yang comes in and tonight Lynn has to beat Jimmy Yang.
Match 2; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Jerry Lynn V Jimmy Yang
Jimmy Yang made his way out first. Mike Tenay called Jimmy Yang one of the last great things about WCW. Jimmy Yang was a highlight at a very dark time. Jerry Lynn was out second. Lynn has travelled the world competed everywhere there is to compete and has won a number of titles including the ECW World Championship.
Jerry Lynn and Jimmy Yang shook hands before the match.
Jimmy Yang missed a springboard moonsault and landed hard. Lynn tried to take advantage with a tornado DDT but Yang pushed Lynn off Lynn managed to stay on his feet but Yang rocked Lynn with a spinning heel kick. Yang went back up top. Crossbody block missed and again Yang hit hard and this time Lynn took advantage and dropped Yang with a TKO for the win via pin fall.
Winner; Jerry Lynn

Jerry Lynn and Jimmy Yang again shook hands after the match, great show of respect from both men.
AJ Styles and Low Ki were both shown separately getting ready for tonight’s Main Event. Mike Tenay and Don West spoke for a few minutes about tonight’s Main Event between AJ Styles and Low Ki. AJ like Chris Harris trained at the WCW Power Plant and appeared on handful of times on WCW T.V where AJ always impressed and since then AJ has got even better while competing over the world and everyone is talking about AJ Styles potential. Low Ki already has a cult following an underground sensation the independent king. Read a wrestling magazine or newsletter listen to wrestling radio shows look on the internet they always talking about Low Ki. Low Ki proves without question that size doesn’t matter. Tonight AJ Styles and Low Ki make history they have been given the honor of headlining the first TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling but there can only be one winner.
Tonight; Main Event: AJ Styles V Low Ki!
Plus; Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett!
A couple of celebrities were shown in the crowd, joining TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling tonight were NASCAR’s Hermie Sadler and Country Music’s Toby Keith.
Match 3; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Norman Smiley V Abyss w. Jim Mitchell
Norman Smiley to fans of wrestling over the last few years would see Smiley as a comedy character nobody to take seriously but once upon a time Smiley was one of the most respected technical wrestlers in the business and Smiley has vowed to re find that form and challenge the best TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling has to offer.
Before Norman Smiley’s opponent Abyss made his way out Tenay and West both admitted to not knowing so much about Abyss however if aligned with Jim Mitchell who was one of the most evil in the sport it could not bode well for the TNA roster.
Jim Mitchell led Abyss out to ringside. Abyss had his three quarters of his face covered in a mask and stood almost 7 foot tall and weighed in at over 300 lbs.
Abyss smashed Smiley with a choke slam which could have been enough for the win but Abyss wasn’t done. Abyss lifted Smiley over his shoulders and trapped Smiley in a torture rack. Abyss sat down and cracked Smiley’s back over his own shoulders (Shock Treatment). Smiley was in agony but you could see Abyss smile through his mask, Abyss was having fun playing with Smiley. Abyss finished Smiley off with his Black Hole Slam.
Winner; Abyss
Jim Mitchell had great delight in showing off his monster Abyss. Officials were worried about Norman Smiley’s condition and had paramedics check over Smiley in the ring. Abyss put the TNA roster on notice tonight. Update on Norman Smiley after hearing from Jeremy Borash.
Jeremy Borash introduced a video package looking at a William Muellar who will be debuting very soon here in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling…
William Muellar dressed like a trucker in tore jeans and shirt with a baseball cap was standing in a car park to a near by bar in the middle of the night. Muellar is coming to TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and Muellar doesn’t need a reason to start a fight to beat some body up Muellar enjoys hurting another person and Muellar couldn’t care less if the victim see’s it coming or not. Muellar respects and fears no one, Muellar is coming to TNA and everybody better have eyes in the back of their heads.
Harley Race was shown sitting at ringside because it was Harley Race that trained William Muellar to become a professional wrestler. Borash revealed that Race ended up kicking Muellar out of his class because of Muellar’s behavior. Steve Corino interrupted Borash before Borash could continue Corino wasn’t happy and snatched the microphone from Borash. Steve Corino ‘King of Old School’ is a former World Champion but so far tonight there has been no mention of Corino. Corino wasn’t even advertised for tonight’s card which disgusts Corino. TNA is home to the brightest stars in the business the ‘New School’. Corino admitted AJ Styles, Low Ki, Chris Harris, Ron Killings may be great but they haven’t earned nothing yet and before they can be taken seriously they all have to go through the ‘King of Old School’ Steve Corino. Corino warned TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling about disrespecting him again.
Strong words from Steve Corino who Mike Tenay claimed may be justified in his complaints. Up next, one of tonight’s headline attractions Ron Killings one of the brightest stars in the business challenges former multi time World Champion, Jeff Jarrett. Tenay introduced a video package looking at Ron Killings.
Ron Killings an African American was showing walking some run down streets, a couple of street gangs were shown in the video. Killings admitted that his life was headed down towards getting into trouble Killings got caught up in the law of the streets and ended up in a gang has been in trouble with the police but eventually Killings was saved by his two loves music and wrestling. Killings’ was shown in a music studio, rapping but music is what keeps Killings occupied safe in his free time while wrestling is Killings business. Nothing gives Ron Killings a rush like competing in the middle of the ring and that’s why Killings has come to TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling to face the best wrestlers in the world, bring the nasty and eventually get his hands on the TNA title.
Jeremy Borash was standing by backstage with Jeff Jarrett ahead of Jarrett’s match against Ron Killings which was up next. Write every bodies name down on a piece of paper that is signed to TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and one name stands out more than any other one name stands above all others and that name is Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett is a former World Champion one of the biggest stars this industry has ever seen and should have been the Main Event tonight not AJ Styles or Low Ki they haven’t earned the right yet. Jarrett tonight is going to take his anger out tonight on Ron Killings and Jarrett will show why he should have been tonight’s Main Event and why Jarrett will be the man to carry TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling on his back.
Match 4; Time Limit; 20 Minutes Ron Killings V Jeff Jarrett
Ron Killings caught Jeff Jarrett with a spinning flying forearm which seemed to knock Jarrett silly Killings made the cover but the ropes saved Jarrett after a close two count. Jarrett bailed out of the ring Killings followed Killings laid into Jarrett with a number of right hands before dragging Jarrett back towards the ring because the referee was counting both men out but as Killings and Jarrett got to ringside Jarrett pushed Killings backwards into the ring post which dropped Killings. Jarrett quickly rolled back into the ring beating the referees count winning the match via a count out.
Winner; Jeff Jarrett
Jeff Jarrett got lucky in Don West’s opinion while Mike Tenay corrected Don West and said while Killings brought the nasty to Jarrett, Jarrett used his experience to come away with the victory tonight. Jarrett rolled out of the ring pointing to his head letting everyone know he outsmarted Ron Killings tonight. Jeff Jarrett bad mouthed everyone as he made his way back up the aisle the fans, announcers and even the legends at ringside. Jarrett looked into the camera and told the world that he would become the first ever TNA Champion.
Ron Killings was on his knees at ringside holding the back of his head checking for blood. Ron Killings was upset with the loss but there was no shame in taking Jeff Jarrett to the limit. Ron Killings should learn from this defeat and come back stronger next time out.
Mike Tenay and Don West quickly took the time to let the fans know that Konnan a former WCW United States and WCW Television Champion and one of the biggest stars in Mexican wrestling history was advertised to be here tonight but Konnan has no showed as of yet there is no word as to why but maybe if Konnan is given another chance we get to find out why. Tenay also quickly revealed that earlier tonight Abyss destroyed Norman Smiley and they promised an update. Smiley was helped from ringside by paramedics and has been taken to a near by hospital for more tests.
Match 5; Time Limit; 20 Minutes James Storm V Alan Funk
Video package aired before the match looking at James Storm who bills himself as the ‘Tennessee Cowboy’. Storm was shown working on his farm, training in his barn, hunting in the field and having a few beers in a bar. James Storm said he a regular guy with a dream of being World Champion so he’s in TNA to make his dream a reality.
James Storm and his opponent Alan Funk were already in the ring but before the match Funk who used to go by the name Kwee Wee in WCW where Funk also held the WCW Cruiserweight title demanded a microphone. Funk turned his attention to the legends at ringside (Steamboat, Dory Funk, Armstrong and Race). Alan Funk asked who invited the dinosaurs saying people didn’t want to be reminded of the past they want to be taken into the future by the greatest Funk of them all Alan Funk. Funk told the legends to keep their eyes on him.
Funk tossed the microphone out of the ring as the referee called for the bell to start the match. Funk ran at Storm, Storm ducked Funk’s clothesline and knocked Funk out with a super kick. Funk was out cold and Storm covered Funk scoring the win after only a few seconds.
Winner; James Storm
Seven seconds the match was timed at. James Storm beat Alan Funk in seven seconds following a super kick. Alan Funk’s eyes were in the back of his head. Storm rolled out of the ring and celebrated his win with the legends at ringside. Storm embraced Steamboat, Funk, Armstrong and Race before taking a beer from a fan so Storm could toast the legends the fans and Storm’s fast victory.
Tenay let everyone know that up next was tonight’s Main Event pitting AJ Styles against Low Ki but before we get to tonight’s Main Event. Jeremy Borash has an update on next week’s Pay per View. Next week on TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling there would be an announcement concerning the TNA Championship on how and when TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling would crown their first Champion. Also next week’s Main Event has been signed and it will be a Tag Team match pitting four of the more recognizable names against one another…
Next Week; Main Event; Tag Team Match: Jerry Lynn and Ron Killings V Steve Corino and Jeff Jarrett!
Match 6; Main Event Time Limit; 30 Minutes AJ Styles V Low Ki
Jeremy Borash spoke with both AJ Styles and Low Ki before tonight’s Main Event asking both men how they felt about being given the honor of competing in the Main Event of TNA’s first show. AJ Styles told Borash that tonight for him wasn’t about TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling it was about finally being given the opportunity to go out to the ring and show the wrestling world just how good AJ Styles is. Jeff Jarrett, Steve Corino and others aren’t happy that AJ and Low Ki been handed their shot but AJ has waited long enough but if anyone has a problem with AJ Styles they can meet him in the ring because AJ will not back down from anyone.
Low Ki respectively told Jeremy Borash that he has no comments to make because Low Ki does his talking in the middle of the ring.
AJ Styles and Low Ki stood face to face in the middle of the ring as David Penzer the TNA Ring Announcer introduced both men and while referee Rudy Charles went over the rules of the match with both men before calling for the bell. Fans were on their feet and as soon as the bell rang Styles and Ki started exchanging right hands which had the fans going mental.
AJ Styles and Low Ki wrestled to a 30 Minute time limit draw in a match that will surely go down in history as a classic both men refused to lose. Styles and Ki brought the fight the entire match neither man backed down and nothing could separate either man apart from time. Low Ki came close to winning the match after smashing a trapped upside down AJ with a Mushroom Stomp. Ki avoided defeat by just about rolling out of the way of Styles spiral tap. Low Ki trapped AJ in his Dragon Sleeper and it seemed like AJ had faded enough for the referrer to call the match off but at the last second AJ made it to the ropes. AJ with just over a minute left got one last burst of energy and nailed Ki with a roaring elbow a brain buster and then his patent move Styles Clash but Low Ki kicked out. Fans were going crazy at this point chanting this is awesome and match of the year. Styles and Ki both clearly exhausted like the match began exchanged right hands on their knees as the time limit expired.
Result; Time Limit Draw
AJ Styles and Low Ki collapsed to the mat. Fans were on their feet as one chanting for five more minutes but David Penzer on behalf of Rudy Charles confirmed that the match was over and the official result was a time limit draw. Mike Tenay and Don West couldn’t catch their breath it also seemed like Don West was losing his voice.
TNA officials came to ringside to check on the condition of AJ Styles and Low Ki. Ricky Steamboat, Bob Armstrong, Dory Funk Jnr and Harley Race were on their feet applauding the efforts of both AJ Styles and Low Ki. Tenay and West had stopped calling the action to stand and applaud AJ Styles and Low Ki as they finally managed to get back to their feet. Don West wondered if we would get to see a handshake.
AJ Styles and Low Ki were both disappointed that they couldn’t come away with the victory but thanks to AJ Styles and Low Ki TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling’s first Pay per View will never be forgotten. TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling went off the air with Low Ki and AJ Styles just about on their feet as everyone in the Braun Center were on their feet to a man giving AJ Styles and Low Ki a standing ovation.

Been following this series for a while now, even before coming here at the 'Afterlife' forum and I've said before you are a talented fella and it's a shame that your series is coming to an end but at the same time it is good that there is an end in sight because everything can't go on forever and you need a finish even if it's one people don't necessarily agree with.
I think the biggest compliment I give you is that you have built a roster of people who were mostly unknown to me to begin with and you turned them into stars with your series. It's clear that Chris Hero & Kings of Wrestling are the top heels the big stars while Eddie Kingston is face of the company. A lot of series' on here haven't distinguished who is the main players and everyone just seems on the same level, not here and even though your series is coming to an end you have built for the future and if you were to carry on the company would be in good hands with PAC, Emil and End on the rise.
With your work there is something for everyone, while I don't enjoy the death match stuff and some of your commentary isn't as funny as you may like or goes over my head it helps to build an entertaining product.
WCWA is coming to an end and if it was every T.V show ever made the good guys going to save the day or die trying but somehow think that's too easy for you!
It's a shame that its coming to a close because there is so much that could be done with your roster. There would be money in the destruction of KOW and the fallout, Hero V Claudio springs to mind as does Hero V Taylor because unless it's me there as always been a little thing brewing between the two. Plus like I said you are building for the future with Emil, End and PAC.
Maybe you could hand WCWA over to someone, just a thought?
Good work
