I have just found out that Mike Quackenbush will not be appearing at the TPI this weekend. I was out running numerous errands and going to doctors appts. with James Christopher. When I returned home I had a message from Ian stating that Mike had some kind of a family emergency that just happened and would not be there this weekend. Ian said that Mike tried to call him late last night but he didnt have the right number. As soon as Mike got ahold of the number he called Ian.

I apologize for the late annoucement. We hope things are okay with Mike and his family. thanks, Patti

And the defending champion is now out of the 2008 TPI before the show even starts..

Losing Quack, none the less the defending champion is always a big blow. I do hope everything is OK with Mike's family, though. Just hours before Night one, too.
