Kurt Angle commented during an appearance on the Bubba The Love Sponge Show on Friday that he has signed a contract with an MMA promotion and that his career "could pick up in late-2009".
Bubba asked if Angle signed with UFC to face Randy Couture next year, and he didn't deny or confirm it

Kurt has been dropping these rumours for years, & each year he doesn't he gets older & more injuured & worn down from prowrestling.
If he had joined mMA ten years & started all the relevant cross training he may have been a force.
BUT he didn't, he hasn't wrestled competively in years, has never trained in striking or submissions. Brock's recent win has given him ideas again, however Brock has been cross training, is younger & had far less injuries. Plus Brock has the size & strength advantage.
However if Kurt does want to fight mMA. I suggest EliteXC & take on the winner of this saturday's Kimbo vs. Ken. But we all know it isn't going to happen

He will be in the UFC this time next year. And he will be destroyed by a proper fighter, then back to TNA in 2010.

He won't be working for UFC. Dana White said they if Angle is serious about coming to UFC, he has to quit pro-wrestling and apparently Angle won't quit wrestling.
