How could you possibly not respect Fitch after that fight? How many shots did GSP land that would have put away any other welterweight? If you even listen to the audience near the end of the fight everyone was applauding Fitch for his relentless efforts. Fitch was suppose to give GSP problems in striking? Hm...didn't seem to. Word. Fitch is a bad mofo. GSP is a bad matchup for him.

I'll be watching the Kimbo/Shamrock fight for sure. Even though Shamrock has lost his last 4 fights or so, I'll be rooting for him in this fight. If he loses to this backyard bum, I just won't believe it. Then it'll be time to retire for sure. Retire and hang your head in shame forever...

It's still a damn shame when a card has Paul Daley vs Jake Shields, and the only fight talked about is Ken Shamrock vs Kimbo.

Jake Shields wins again ;D - Iron Heart I'm a HUGE Shields fan, but I'm glad he shut up about fighting GSP. St. Pierre would murder him.

AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. "The biggest upset in MMA history" was the worst line EVER. Petruzelli didn't just beat in Fedor, he beat shitty Kimbo Slice. Circus act... OVER!

well, it was entertaining while it lasted, lol Yeah, all 14 seconds of it. LOL. ;D I bet everyone and their mother in that arena last night was picking Kimbo, seeing they were in his hometown and everything. Little did they know, he would get ing SMOKED in 14 seconds, not by the original fighter he was scheduled to fight, but by the ing back-up guy!! Seth Petruzelli proved Kimbo is a complete joke and doesn't belong in MMA and went right through him like crap through a goose. I bet Dana White was watching that fight and laughed his ing ass off when he saw Kimbo get obliterated. I bet he enjoyed that very much, just like I did. LOL. ;D Kimbo's 15 minutes of fame are just about up and he should get the out of MMA and go back to fighting in the backyard, where he belongs.

I think KImbo and I am being serious. I think Kimbo should go fight in the streets and post vids on youtube. He can make his own DVDs and sell them online. I see him being pretty successful.

This fight, above all else, proves that Kimbo will never be a true success in MMA until he lets go of his street-fighting mentality and embraces the Art part in Mixed Martial Arts.
Seriously, I have to bring up Arlovski/Nelson and compare them to Kimbo. When Nelson caught and rocked Arlovski, Arlovski had the instinct to buckle back, dodge, and move away.
When Nelson got caught, even with his brains scrambled, he had the instinct to roll over into guard position even after the bell rang to end the match.
If Kimbo had an MMA mentality, he could've survived more than 14 seconds. Even Tim Sylvia lasted longer, against a much much much better opponent.
Kimbo's gampeplan has simply not evolved past "look for the knockout and pray you don't end up on the ground".
Hopefully a major setback like this forced him to recognize his weaknesses. There's still a lot of potential for Kimbo, the Mixed Martial Artist, but Kimbo the circus act is over and dead IMO.

AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. "The biggest upset in MMA history" was the worst line EVER. Petruzelli didn't just beat in Fedor, he beat ****ty Kimbo Slice. Circus act... OVER! Actually, what the announcer had said was "The most incredible victory in the history of mixed-martial arts". And by "incredible", I'm sure he meant surprising because it was certainly a shocker to see Seth Petruzelli beat Kimbo in such stunning fashion. Seth was my pick to win, but I certainly did not think he was going to win in 14 seconds like he did, that's for sure. It was an incredible victory for Seth. Definitely his biggest win to date.
