As soon as I noticed UFC 89 was Bisping vs. Leben and that UFC 90 was Silva vs. Cote, this thought popped into my head. "When's the last time they had two "vs." events in a row?"
Soon after, it was announced UFC 91 is going to be Couture vs. Lesnar, and that (it seems as if) UFC 92 is going to be Henderson vs. Franklin. 2 in a row may have been coincidence, but come on, 4 in a row?
It seems to me that they're going to stick with the (fighter) vs. (fighter) format to name the PPVs from now now.
Thoughts?

They're probably just out of names that aren't corny or cliched. Which most of them are.
They also don't usually have much to do with the fights on the card. What's the point of naming an event something like "Seek and Destroy" or "Breakthrough?" Nobody remembers UFC events that way anyhow. Everyone remembers them by the number, or by the main event. Which makes it more logical to just keep numbering them and adding a subtitle like "Silva vs. Cote."

You'd have to think this would happen eventually. I mean they cant come up new corny lines every month.

they never matched up anyways...
I remember one was I think "knockout"? or something to that affect and there wasn't one KO on the damn card...
Ill will, seek and destroy, bitter rivals...sounds very lame...
