I like how this is JUST now being pointed out. They promised us the same thing back in July 2007 (Victory Road 2007/Next day tapings)..

They also did the same for the Midwest Tour. Just a ploy to get the loud pop. Another instance of TNA pissing off their fanbase.

I'm not defending it but how would people know if people got to go backstage?

When I went to the Kansas and OKC house shows they said the same thing.I just find it hard to believe with how many people go to the shows that somebody on the forum wouldn't get picked if it actually did happen. You would think they would know this would back fire before too long. Also what happened to the fan interactions before the PPV's.

Did the same thing at BFG 2006. No big deal really. It sucks but whatever. I think the crowds are loud because they like TNA?

People are going to be louder with the chance of going backstage fans or not,and you would think TNA wouldn't want to piss off the people that come to their shows with empty promises about backstage passes and whatnot.Good way to lose your loyal following.

I doubt it considering they said 5-10(can't remember exactly now) at BFG 2007.

They did this at Slammiversary. My sister thought two drunk idiots got to go backstage, when really they were ejected from the arena for throwing beer bottles towards the ring..

WoW, trying to steal ratings? Why am I fan of TNA? How is that trying to steal ratings? They are just getting the crowed hyped to be louder on TV, it isnt stealing ratings but its not the right thing to do either.

I'm not saying I agree with it, but if it works; more power to 'em.

This is not uncommon. WWE does the same thing.

This is not uncommon. WWE does the same thing. WWE has never lied to their fans telling them they are going to get backstage if they make the loudest noise.
