Did you guys know that one of the ROH PPV events last year did only 18 buys in the whole country of Canada ? Also Meltzer recently stated that they are doing only about 1/4 the ammount of buys that the TNA weekly shows did which was usually in the rage of about 5 grand.

While ROH PPV buys haven't been anything special the low numbers you've mentioned aren't accurate.

Ok so 18 buys in Canada, a place where they have only recently debuted and actually pulled in a decent crowd of over 1000 means bad? That is intellectually- disabled that you're basically saying that the American buys aren't important. Of course they only get 1/4 the buy rates of TNA. ROH HAS NO TELEVISION.

TNA didn't have television during weekly ppv's until sometime in 2004.

A tremendous fale, at that.
In all seriousness, that number seems a bit skewed, but I could be wrong.

Nah not a fail. It got me into Ring of Honor, thus it's a success.

I'm thinking while PPV wasn't a huge success for ROH, it did attract more people to the product... I mean once you start buying the dvds the PPVs become pretty much obsolete.

i thought that was the name of their new PPV i was like "Wtf" ;D That'd be an awesome rib, to name a PPV based off of someone's underachieving on that same show, or more appropriately, their absolute failure.

I like how 1/2 of the people replying only focus on the OPs typo, and not the actual content, which doesn't surprise me.
