I was thinking about this today. Katsuhiko Nakajima, Yujiro, Tetsuya Naito, and Fergal Devitt (first gaijin Tiger Mask) are the main ones that come to mind. I know Nakajima won't because he's with NOAH now and probably not Devitt because he's a gaijin. But the gimmick could really help Yujiro or Naito for a couple years before they unmask. They could just use the gimmick for as long as Kanemoto needed to.

Like someone said before, there isn't anything wrong with the current Tiger Mask. But if there is a Tiger Mask V in the near future, I would love to see Fergal Devitt continue the Tiger Mask tradition. But the only con about it is that Fergal is not Japanese. But I feel he is the only one who can do it, imo.

He might not even wait for retirement. He could be getting tired of the Tiger Mask gimmick. Misawa and Kanemoto moved onto bigger and better things when they dropped the gimmick.

It's an entirely different situation though. Neither Misawa nor Kanemoto were trained by the original Tiger Mask.

If i had to pick a tiger mask V. My vote would got for Naomichi Marifuji. There is apparently room for a Black Tiger V. Rocky Romaro hadnt used the gimmick for a while ifi am not mistaken. I would love to see American Dragon as Black Tiger V.
