Week 2: at Seattle Seahawks
Week 3: Detroit Lions
Week 4: at New Orleans Saints
Week 5: New England Patriots
Week 6: Philadelphia Eagles

Week 9: Bye week
Week 10: at Arizona Cardinals
Week 11: St. Louis Rams
Week 12: at Dallas Cowboys
Week 13: at Buffalo Bills
Week 14: New York Jets
Week 15: at Miami Dolphins

Sypnosis: What a game! Coming into opening day, people knew Arizona was a much improved team. Coach Ken changed it up on all sides of the field. But those people also knew the 49ers made very little changes. And this week, that little change made a big difference. Piece by piece San Francisco dismantled Arizona. Whether it was a 60+ yard pass by Alex Smith, a 20+ yard run from Frank Gore, or one of the many interceptions San Francisco was lucky enough to catch, this game was a knock out. Congratulations, San Francisco, you have one win. Don't let it get to your head.Scoring: 1st Quarter 4:19 23 yd INT return for TD by Walt Harris (extra point good)2:17 62 yd pass from Smith to Brucefor TD (extra point good)2nd Quarter 4:17 18 yd run by Gore for TD (extra point good)1:13 1 yd run by Norris for TD (extra point good)1:00 73 yd pass from Leinart to Boldin (extra point good):02 39 yd field goal by Nedney3rd Quarter 2:29 22 yd pass from Smith to Bruce (extra point good):15 79 yd pass from Leinart to Fitzgerald (extra point good)4th Quarter 4:23 6 yd pass from Leinart to Boldin (extra point failed):31 54 yd pass from Smith to Battle (extra point good)Individual Stats: SF Alex Smith (13/24, 334 yds, 3 TD, 138.9 QB Rating)Frank Gore (68 yds, 14 att, TD)
