Why is vince russo trying to ignorE history and not have any heels or faces and if so why are there still two tunnels and if there are no more heels or faces why is TNA still have a television deal and up and running?! WHY?! |

WHY?! i totally agree with you . a wrestling fed can't survive without heels & faces . . wrestling just does not work without heels & faces . russo does not care about wrestling at all . russo want a sitcom's not a wrestling program. they reason i have problems with today's tna is because of russo & him killing tradition. TNA does not represents tradition at all . while WWE represents tradition today .. their are more legends & 2nd & 3rd generation wrestlers in WWE then anywhere & that is tradition. TNA has turned its back on tradition & without tradition it will not survive |

Problem with heels and faces is people are stuck in the 80's with their ideas of what a face and heel is. I like a face that's more of an anti hero. A face with a bit of an edge. The heel should cheat, but not all the time to give him some validity. Nothing will make you hate a heel more than one that wins clean from time to time.

How are their no heels or faces? Roode, 3D, Angle Alliance, Mitchell's group of WrestleCrap, Storm and Rock'n Rave Infection are definitely heels. Booker T, MCMG, Jay Lethal, Joe, Abyss, Rhyno, LAX and the comedy characters are definitely faces. Whether they are effective or not as heels or faces is another matter. Christian Cage, Nash, Petey Williams, and Scott Steiner are really the only tweeners right now... you're not really "told" who to like in the Steiner/Williams angle, while both Nash and Christian aligned with faces because they were rejected by the heels... much like Orton and his departure from Evolution.

Don't solely blame Russo...the fans confuse the issue even further by cheering for whoever the hell they want.
Besides, I think Ripper pretty much cleared up the issue. If I ran down TNA's roster, as it is listed on the website, there are probably only a handful of guys I couldn't place.

The only real confusing booking involves Angle and Samoa Joe. Other than that it's still good guys and bad guys. This is just Russo trying to be different... so was the Viagra on a Poll match.
