Arquette however gave all of his professional wrestling earnings to the families of Owen Hart, Brian Pillman and Darren Drozdov. I did not know this. That's a class act. Yeah, Arquette gets alot of points for that in my book.

• Sid lost a match by countout in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Bahahaha. • Don't believe Russo has a fetish for "on a pole" matches? Well during his time on the booking committee he booked a leather jacket on a pole match, a lex-flexer (which was a bodybuilding instrument) on a pole match and a stun-gun on a pole match. Don't forget Judy Bagwell!

• Vince Russo once claimed his booking of WCW wasn't going to plan because Ted Turner prevented him from using angles calling women wrestlers fat.
How did I not see that? That is hilarious.

As much as I loved WCW, they messed up a lot.
One thing they did do that I liked right before the died was at New Blood Rising in the Canadian Rules Match with Lance Storm and Mike Awesome. When Storm would lose and then Jacques Rougeau would change the rules where the match still continued was pure awesome.

Wasn't Jeff Jarrett The Chosen One who cut that interview about being the bookers choice, not Bagwell.
Very good fun read though, cheers

So...pretty much WCW was full of goofs? Good thing I started watching WWF in 2000 and not WCW.

If you guys liked reading that you should really pick up a book called "The Death of WCW" by R.D. Reynolds (the wrestlecrap.com guy)

If you guys liked reading that you should really pick up a book called "The Death of WCW" by R.D. Reynolds (the wrestlecrap.com guy) I learned a lot from that book. I think we're better off not seeing a boom period again. As Ric Flair stated in his soon to be released Shoot Interview, "WCW was an embarassment to the wrestling industry." Flair is right on all accounts.

was funny but all promotions have there fair share of stuff like this. like the time in WWE I think it was orton... could be wrong.. anyone know what I'm talking about? The camera came on too early and he was rehearsing his lines with somone,.. the camera shut off, then a few moments later like after a commercial break it coems abck on with them doing the lines as it should have.. but Russo did mess up alot of crap in WCW
