well IMO now that it is over the fight of the night was Bisping/Leben. Both men did a great job and both kept pushing forward. The decision has not come yet but I think I know the outcome IMO. I wont say anything cus I know not all timezones have seen it yet keep that in mind people.

I lost a lot of respect for Bisping tonight (not like I liked him before). I understand that you might have a gameplan to stay away from a guy, but to openly say that you're plan COMING INTO A FIGHT was to get a desision is piss poor to me. If you aren't coming to get a decisive victory, don't fight. All he tried to do was eeek out a win. If he tried to pull that BS here in the states, the crowd would lay into him.
I may be the minority here, but I dont care. I guess people look at Machida the same way I look at Bisping. And Rogan was asking him about a title fight? Who did he beat? And no one better mention the Matt Hamill fight, because that wasn't a victory.
I was more impressed with Chris Leben tonight, than I've been with anyone in a LONG time. He came in looking like he was in the best shape of his life & ready to fight.

I think the FOTN was Paul Taylor vs Chris Lytle althogh the judging was BS I totally agree there. That was clearly fight of the night from what I saw. Just a war from start to finish. There were some serious bombs thrown in that fight for sure. No question about it. And as far as the judging goes, I do believe Lytle did win the fight, but not by a total hands-down unanimous decision. It was a close fight and I would've said a split-decision instead, but whatever. The judges in the U.K. are very strange sometimes...I'm sure we all remember the travesty of judging that was in the Bisping/Hamill fight, don't we?? |

THANK YOU SO MUCH HHH316. I was afraid to say anything ill towards Bisping because I know the internet loves him almost as much as the UK does. But WHAT THE F***. You go in to the pre-fight interviews saying you are going in the fight trying to knock the guy out in the first round but yet you are on the defense the whole god damn fight? I was a huge Bisping fan but man that really just made me lose a lot of respect for him. Bisping has been following Machidas style a little too closely...cuz damn that was boring on his part. I give props to Leben even though he lost...he looked great in the fight even though losing. I felt like he was seriously one punch away from a knockout..but he didn't push it far enough, his knees looked very weak like they wouldn't even reach bispings chest IF they were to connect. He should have kept on with the leg kicks and the left hooks...as well as charging in and getting some dirty boxing in as well as his foot stomps..I think he has the most effective foot stomps in the UFC. But man...Bisping....If he does fight Henderson or Silva next I hope he gets knocked the  out... |

I haven't finished the whole show yet, but I was very disappointed to see Sokoudjou get knocked out and Chris Leben lose(yeah, I read the results). I can't believe Sokoudjou gassed out like that. I thought I'd never see a guy from Team Quest get that gassed. Bisping has a tough fight next, whoever it's against. Silva or Henderson. Lytle/Taylor if my FOTN so far and I have Jardine/Vera, Bisping/Leben to go.

From a live perspective, i felt Lytle and Taylor was Fight of the Night, and JArdine vs Vera was very poor showing by both in which Vera deffo deserved the W.

They both went out there and exchanged the whole fight, minus the few takedown and ground stints. They put on a hell of a show. I believe Keith won it no doubt.. I agree on Bisping of all his talk before the fight then the way he actually fougt. I was very pleased with Leben. He went out like a bad ass. Hands down sayin, HIT ME MOTHER ER!!! (I know he prolly wasnt actually saying that but thats the way it seemed.) I was also pissed of that Sokoudjou lost....  I like him! |

i loved lebens sarcastic interview after the fight in which Bisping ran like a little bitch...i woulda deducted points if possible for evading your opponent

For a free PPV, overall it's pretty well rounded. I'm actually pritty excited for the Bisping vs. Leben fight. I can see either guy winning, and it could happen at any time with the them standing and throwing. I picked Bisping by UNI decision, as I could see it being a lot like the Chuck vs. Wandy fight or I could see Bisping holding him down for as long as he could to squeak out a decision. Regardless, I'm still looking forward to it. Yay for me. I didn't do to bad with the picks on UFC fantasy either, placed 77th. Now I'm just excited for Cote's huge victory next weekend  . |

RIP Cote tbh Bisping was very Machida in the fight, but some of his shots hurt leben which was impressive in my eyes, but hey im a bit bias being an englishman myself  and Leben was v.aggressive and ultra strong. and i agree, Cote will get murdered. Leben hurt bisping alot in the fight aswell..but everytime he hurt him...he would run and regain compuser...a smart tactic but a shitty one at the same time..
and vera and jardine hesitant to hit each other my ass...they were all over each other in that fight
