I really enjoyed the Sin City movie, and I never read any of the comics. All the stories had something different and engaging about them, and all the actors shine in their roles.
It's a dark horse, but it's one of the best comic book movies to come down the pipe in the last several years.

almost everything from frank miller is worth checking out. if you haven't read the sin city comics, check them out too. Will do. How is the Sin City movie? it's excellent, and actually quite accurate.

I've been wanting to read green lantern for a while but with all thats going on I've got no idea where to start. Can someone tell me what I need to read in order to understand whats currently going on in the green lantern world?
Or can someone recommend some good green lantern TPBs or even back issues you think a new person to green lantern would enjoy?

i would start with rage of the red lanterns. it's the prequel to blackest night.
i'm not really the expert on green lantern though, i myself am trying to catch up in the back issues.

It's hard to say with Green lantern. Maybe start with Re-birth and work forward? Or start with the Sinestro Corps war?

When I bought League of Extraordinary Gentlemen at Borders, the guy there told me Kingdom Come is pretty good. Anyone reccomend it? It seems pretty interesting.

It seems pretty interesting. it is excellent. it's in the future when all the current dc superheroes are waning, having lost the battle of good vs. evil and retiring to be replaced by new, irresponsible vigilanties. seeing the world in disorder, superman must once again return to find peace. but batman's old bitterness and lex luthor's old rivalry with superman will be his biggest battle. honestly one of the best graphic novels i've ever read.

I thought Final Crisis was pretty good. Plus, you need to read it to find out Batman's fate.

Ok. I plan on buying Final Crisis, Sin City, and Kingdom Come. However, I also saw Justice on Borders' website. Is this worth buying?

I think Final Crisis requires not only reading, but re-reading. The delays really hurt it, and I hope to find out it'll be better to read beginning to end in one sitting.
As for Green Lantern, depends on how in-depth you want to get. If you're looking for just essential stuff for Blackest Night, start with the Sinestro Corps War and be sure to read Secret Origins, as it's a retcon factoring Blackest Night. If you want the whole past 5 years of Lantern-ness, start with Rebirth. It'd probably also be a good bridge to Flash: Rebirth starting next month.

Is the Justice series worth buying? Yes. If you liked the old Super Friends cartoon, you'll love this. One of, maybe the best Justice League stories I have ever read. Plus the figures and art are awsome.

I'm interested in wolverine comics. I've heard wolverine is in alot of comic book series, but which would you recommend I read? Also, if I decide to get the Wolverine Series, how much would it cost me to get most of them, if not all?

for wolverine, i suggest picking up the first 5 volumes of his comic book. really captivates the character. his feud with roughouse and bloodscream. also, check out the uncanny x-men novels. one of my favourite wolverine comics:

I'm starting to get into Uncanny X-Men, just wondering what tades I should pick up. So far I have divided we stand ad I am really liking it. After searching amazon I am realizing I maybe should have started with Messiah Complex. Anyway their is a lot of X-men stuff to look for and I really jus have no idea where to really begin.
