Undertaker's gimmick works for sports entertainment... it wouldn't work for a small promotion running out of a theme park where comedy, funny or not, is the dominant theme. As for expanding my wrestling knowledge... that knowledge expands to what I feel is important as well as what interests me. Johnny Stamboli isn't in either of those categories... if I have to know about his character's past history in Japan to think of it as anything other than WrestleCrap, than it's WrestleCrap pure and simple. I'm sure anything you'd define as "WrestleCrap" could have been entertaining or at least watchable if booked differently... Definitely not tryue. |
