now ill ask a simple but stupid question, when you say "TNA World Champion" you are not including the NWA era if you are ill give you both
obviously the best NWA-TNA champion of all time was jeff jarrett and the TNA champion is a toss up between angle and samoa joe, but overall, angle is a better wrestler, can draw more, and can cut a promo.
NWA-TNA - Jeff Jarrett
TNA - Kurt Angle

Jeff Jarrett is easily the best World Champion is TNA history. Even though he was a belt hog.

I'm sorry, but when Jarrett was champ, he was extremely overrated. He's a great wrestler, but after seeing him as champ over and over again, it got really old. The first few reigns were enough. Anyways, IMO, the best has been a tie between Raven and Angle. Those two are great wrestlers, and I really enjoyed their title reigns.

Jarrett got huge amount of heat because no one liked him and no one wanted to see him in the main spot. I even remember chants like "Drop the title", he had X-Pac heat. And that is a big difference compared to heel/hate heat |

I don't see how people voted Raven. He held the title for a couple months and only really defended it in garbage matches. On top of that, he lost it at a live event. Plus he was champ while they weren't on TV.
I'd say Jarrett (specifically his 04-05 run) followed by AJ Styles (specifically his 2003 run). Both were great champions, but I would still give the nod to Double J.
