best of luck to you, these are fun to do, but take a while. i got threw like 10 games and got tired of it. i intend to try again in the summer when i have free time, but i hope you do well, ill be reading.

The Cubs really brought the lumber to the great american ballpark as Alfonso Soriano, Matt Murton both hit a 2-run and solo homerun. But they weren't the only ones to go deep for the Cubbies as Starting Pitcher Carlos Zambrano blasted one off of Adam Harang to end his night. Speaking of the long ball, the player of the game, catcher Michael Barrett hit 3 home runs in one game, what a way to kick off the 2007 season. Zambrano went 7 innings giving up 5 runs(3 earned) on 2 solo home runs by Ken Griffey Jr & Scott Hatterberg. Neal Cotts pitched a 1 hit 8th and Kerry Woods allowed 1 run in the 9th to end the game for the Cubs. Next Game: April 4th @ Cin(0-1) Probable Starters: Prior(0-0) @ Arroyo(0-0)

CHI:8 CIN:7 in 10 Innings
Oh man, what a game in Cinnicinati,OH, if you didn't stay up late to watch u missed a real dousy of a game. After the 1st inning the lovable Cubbies looked down and out trailing by 4. The surprise of the night was Lou Pinella keeping Mark Prior in the game til the end of the 6 inning. Prior allowed 7 runs on 9 hits and now has an era of 10.50.
The Cubs faught there way back in the 9th scoring 2 runs off of Dave Weathers to send the game into the extra. A big HR to the right field bleachers by Derrek Lee sent the Cubs on to a 2-0 series win. The cubs are going for the sweep tommorrow before heading to Milwaluke to face the "Brew Crew".

What a random game as the Cubs sweep the Reds in front of the Reds fans. Ted Lilly delievered a good pitching performance until he threw some wild pitches and allowed some runs. Scott Eyre came in and allowed some more runs but was able to shut it down to not have to waste Ryan Dempster so early on in the season. Aramis Ramitrez hit 2 homeruns.

Chicago brought it's pitching to Miller Park as Rich Hill went 6 strong giving up 2 runs. Following that Nate Cotts & Ryan Dempster slammed the door on the "Crew" for the 1st win in this 3 game set. Give the assist to some sweet outfield play by Soriano & Murton and the power hitting of Derosa,Lee & Ramirez each hitting solo jacks.

Cubs come from behind trail 0-1 up until the 9th inning with a 5 run rally after some key hits. With 2 outs and Derek Lee up and a runners on 2nd & 3rd, Lee crushed a 3 run homerun to seal the deal for the Cubbies. Neal Cotts came in in the 9th and slammed the door shut. Jason Marquis went 8 strong innings allowing 1 run and 5 hits and had 13ks.

CUBBIES DESTORY BREW CREW IN SWEEP Associated Press MIL- Cubs brought out the lumber as they defeat the "Brew Crew" 12 to 2! This was a slump for the Brewers after getting sweep only scoring a total of 4 points in 3 games and the Cubs scored a total of 21 points.Jacque Jones and Aramis Ramirez both hit 2 home runs as well as solo shots by Alfonso Soriano and Derek Lee. Zambrano went 6 innings giving up 1 run on 4 hits. Wade Miller went 2 innings giving up 3 hits and 1 run and Kerry Wood pitched a perfect 9th to end the game.
