But you cant tell me that just because it has not happened he can not KO someone accounting on how hard he hits. He Broke a guys face for christ sakes. WITH ONE PUNCH! Yeah he caused damage to Herring which takes power but KOing someone is a different thing No matter what you say the fact is he hit Herring repeatedly & wasn't able to stop him. Obviously he COULD KO someone but that applies to any MMA fighter but that doesn't make them all KO specialist. Just cause Brock is strong & muscular does not apply to KO power I'm incredibly confused right now. I think it was the other way around. Herring wasn't "able to stop" Lesnar. Lesnar didn't finish the fight, but my god...he DOMINATED him in every aspect of the fight. To say Lesnar doesn't have KO power is ridiculous. In his first ever MMA fight, he made his opponent tap due to strikes, basically caving his head in. He lost a very controversial fight in which he was pounding on Frank Mir's skull countless times, and then knocked a 250lbs Heath Herring backwards, breaking his orbital bone, with one single punch. He OBVIOUSLY has knock-out power...he just hasn't stood and showed of his striking ability. Lesnar isn't Igor Vovchanchyn, Bas Rutten, Chuck Liddel, etc. He doesn't posses pin-point precision striking. He doesn't throw incredible combos. He doesn't even really have great strike defense and the ability to counter it (yet)...but if he stands and gets off a punch that connects...odds are...his opponent is going to drop.

I agree with moogie that the UFC may be building him up rather quickly...maybe even quicker than Brock can keep up with..
The same thing Dana complains about Kimbo being built up so fast and only having a few fights under his belt the same can be said for Brock. The only difference is Brock already has market value that supersedes that of a YOUTUBE sensation, also the fact that Brock is an outstanding wrestler.
It is a toss-up. I would go with my heart and say Couture is going to win..but I don't go with my heart on fights unless Silva or Ortiz is fighting...so I got to say Brock will take this.

Mate I'm not saying he couldn't have KO power, my point however is that people are saying he definetly has & my point is that hasn't been proven yet. In his first fight he was fighting a can, getting him to tap from strikes proved nothing. Against Mir everyone claims he was hurting Mir so badly & yet Mir still had enough sense seconds later to secure a tap out Yes he dominated Herring, I said that earlier, pounded the crap out of him in fact BUT wasn't able to KO him. If you land that amount of blows & can't get a finish then I think it is fair to question whether he has KO power. The much over hyped big punch was more a push, no proof that Herring's facial damage came from that one shot. He has not proven himself to be a KO puncher which requires a lot more than inflated muscles. Yeah if he catches someone as you say he COULD get a KO, but that applies to anyone really. All I am saying is that Brock has not proven himself yet to be a KO puncher, because he hasn't KO'd anyone. Now we all obviously disagree so let's all wait until after the fight to carry on this discussion.

A person with that kind of power in their body automatically has "knockout power." It's a matter of if he knows WHERE to hit someone more than anything.

I have tons of respect for Randy and Brock annoys me. With that said I want Brock to win. I cant eplain it but I am so entertained by him that I just feel this need to want him to win.

Well it's fair to say Lesnar shut me the F up about how Couture would beat him & that Lesnar might not have KO power.
Fair play to Brock though he looked impressive.

UFC 92 is where I get a couple wrong I think.
Because all matches at 92 are pretty much a toss-up. Hopefully they go my way as I didn't just pick who I thought would win but who I genuinely like as a fighter..
