The reason I posted this here instead of in the iMPACT thread is because it's more so about all of TNA than it is just iMPACT.

- My vote goes to Foley replacing Jim Cornette as the "face of tna management". If you've seen the commercials for tonight's show it's got a "Presidential Candidate" feel to it and this whole "change campaign" is as well.

None of those announcements would change wrestling like the advertisements claim. I will go with Foley saying he will be sticking around for the long haul.

Cornette is one of the greatest talkers in the business and is a great character. |

The reason I think that besides the commerical - he "filled in" for Cornette some at BFG. Foley + JB + Every Week = RATINGS! lol.

This whole thing has me perplexed. Usually i'm pretty good at figuring out what is going to happen before it happens but this time i'm at a loss. "Changing the face of wrestling" is a bold statement. This has to be something pretty dramatic/drastic or it is just stupid to say that. Foley taking over for Cornette doesn't really stack up to a statement like that.
I can't wait for Impact tonight. I'm either going to be really surprised and intrigued or completely let down.

Probably, and hopefully repacing Jim Cornette. The only thing that could be better is if he replaced Don West. But honestly, Cornette has been a terrible authority figure. I'd much rather have him booking or something since he has a good wrestling mind. But on-screen, he still uses dialogue as if this was the late 80's/early 90's, and every time I see him I just roll my eyes. He has had his position for over two years so it's time for a change.

Its gotta be something bigger than him just "taking over Cornette's position" or "signing a contract." But to say "Changing the face of wrestling"??
