Chelsea's unbeaten home record for how long? has come to an end!
Xabi Alonso's deflected effort gave Liverpool the lead 10 minutes in and from there well held on to win
And they say we had no chance of winning the league this season... heck I said we had no chance of winning the league this season but hey its only October and all but we're the team to beat.

Spose it must be about 12 years since Liverpool have been top of the league, must feel like they've actually won something.

Well we haven't won the league in 18 years, but this is the second year since then in which we will actually go all the way (first being 01/02 where we finished 2nd, 7 points behind Arsenal). F*ck all Chelsea fans... 08/09 Premier League Champions: Liverpool. You can quote that. I'll be back in May.

I know we did we played sh*t. Our wingers were useless and we never got going, let alone looked like scoring. 11/10 on to win the League still.

Im glad Liverpool won for the sheer fact theyll be easier to close the gap on than Chelsea, you won't win the league, big result for them though.

I like how a good result against a big team brings out all the supporters i love that phrase, its so bitter... & intellectually- disabled! Of course beating the awesome force that is Chelsea away is going to bring out the supporters, its a huge thing. Its also the point of being a supporter. Also, not everybody lives on this forum... i saw the thread, so i posted, and in fairness, the UK sports board is gash. Something will catch my eye on here every other month and 9 times out of 10, the same thread will be there 2 months later. We have had a great start to the season with terrible performances, beeting Man.U & Chelsea before christmas is unreal.

Glad liverpool won, I don't see chelsea losing many games but it's really not a case of if, it's a case of when liverpool start to throw pointless points away, so it benifits arsenal in the long run
