Spose it must be about 12 years since Liverpool have been top of the league, must feel like they've actually won something. I love that coming from a Chelski fan who's team bought 2 league titles and still are waiting for a Champions League crown!!! What did Chelsea win last year??

Oh dear. Nasri cost £12m, Hleb about the same (if not then less), Rosicky £7m, Van Persie £3m and Adebayor the same. To say Arsenal have bought the title if they win it is the biggest load of bollocks anyone can say. Wenger is well known, although evidently not to you, for spending as little amount of money possible on quality players. That post has made you look like somewhat of a moron

That post has made you look like somewhat of a moron Hleb wasactually closer to £16M. Liverpool have spent more than the £12M on nasri what twice in recent memory. Torres and Keane obviously. Yes, Adebayor was a good find at £3M but Lucas didnt cost to much more than that and he'll turn out good. Riera for £8M is a great price looking at what he could do so buying the title? 2 players over £15M and that's buying the title? Oh and another thing, seriously Man United practically buy the title every time they win it (in recent memory) Ferdinand £20m+ Rooney 30m or so, Tevez won't be far off 30M once the deal is made permanent, Nani 17M, Berba 30M or so. Carrick £18M+, Hargreaves £17M... that's an insane amount of money and up there with Chelsea when you think about it

My point is Chelsea went out and openly spent, well lets see Drogba - £24m Essien - £24.4m Makelele - £16.5m Carvalho - £19.85m Shevchenko - £30m although that was funny!! Mikel - £16m To name a few. All big price tags!!!

I can find you several articles saying he joined Arsenal for around the £12m mark. And nowhere did I say that I agreed with timeout saying liverpool will have bought the title so dont try and be a smart arse. I was proving your remarks wrong because you clearly didnt have a clue before now. When Arsenal's most expensive signing is £12m and they're still title contenders and then you've got a team like Spurs spending £17m on Darren Bent it proves that what you said is totally wrong

As a Chelsea fan, of course I'm gutted. But actually a few positives may have come from this game: 1) The monkey is off our back, don't have to worry about the record anymore. 2) This is a chance to come back stronger and show the champions team spirit. 3) Hopefully now Scolari will realise that Malouda and Kalou are just not good enough. 4) Mikel was very good. 5) As was Di Santo.
Liverpool won't win the league anyway.

The scouse media wankfest is in full force now. You'll be out of the running by February at the latest. I couldn't agree more. The way I see it is, i said this before the game, whether Liverpool win or not, they get too tired during the season, they drop silly point and like 0272 said, they'll be out of the running by Feb at the latest. It will be the same as the last how ever many years, Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal being the top 3, it int going to change anything, I bet Liverpool finish 4th or 5th this season, Arsenal are too strong, United are getting in there stride and Chelsea are just making goals from nothing, we've had what, 9 games? 29 to go, Liverpool fans, way too optimistic. But well done, you beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

There's also the factor that they're playing crap bar a few games and are scrounging 3 points. The wheels will soon fall off.

To be fair though United and Liverpool have earned their fortunes through success unlike Chelsea.

I think Arsenal are going to be 4th. They have a league-winning side but not this season. Next season DEFINATELY going to be there. Then, I really don't know. We are showing the potential and the luck to be champions once again, we have confidence now and are really enjoying winning.
However, Man U haven't found their stride yet, and Berbatov is getting settled in a lot quicker than Keane unfortunately but when they do start racking up win after win it's going to be difficult. Chelsea I don't know about either, they have a great manager once again, and they are playing well and now they don't have to be so bloody tense at the Bridge anymore.
But as I say, we are confident at the moment, this was a GREAT win, and while people may say we're going to be out of the running, don't write us off too quickly. We do have a habit of throwing away points (like not beating Stoke at home a few weeks ago) but we've beaten Man U and Chelsea already in those 9 games. I think we can do it, but we have to keep the momentum up.
