I mean, I turn on TNA the other day, and see AJ kissing Angle's wife, Shark Boy acting like Steve Austin, and all this other random crap. No good wrestling though.
But, I remember I watched Global Impact, and it was better then alot of WWE stuff. And then I think, oh yeah, no gimmicks or fake weddings or anything, pure wrestling. THAT was a good show, that I will need to get on DVD for the full matches.
It was great to actually see Angle wrestling and not going off about his wife and his title.
I think TNA should worry more about their wrestling and less about the gimmicks. Like, they have had good storylines in the past. When Sting wouldn't reveal his partner for lockdown, I was watching every week. Now, I don't give a crapif AJ gets Karen pregnant.

I think the AJ/Karen angle is great and I think will lead to some great television. I lost it watching the segment and that is why I watch wrestling. We are never going to get constant thirty minute wrestling classics and I accepted that. I love TNA because of the humor and storylines. Sure, some of it sucks like the Electric Cage match. But if it came down to it I would pick Kurt Angle and AJ Styles have a fued with a humorous and great storyline behind it, than Petey Williams and Scott Stenier that seems to have a logical storyline behind it, yet is boring as shit.

The AJ/Karen thing makes sense. AJ thinks Karen likes him & he kissed her. What is the big deal? This could lead to AJ leaving the Alliance as he learns Karen doesn't like him & was just using him. Shark Boy acting like Austin is stupid I agree. "Random crap" huh? Then you must not watch every week because nothing on that show was "Random"
But, I remember I watched Global Impact, and it was better then alot of WWE stuff. And then I think, oh yeah, no gimmicks or fake weddings or anything, pure wrestling. THAT was a good show, that I will need to get on DVD for the full matches.
Wait, did you just compare a documentary type show with one match (that wasn't even a TNA match) to a 2 hour show? AHahahah. That match took place in Japan & had more time given to it was wrestling in Japan is looked at as an actual SPORT.
It was great to actually see Angle wrestling and not going off about his wife and his title.
You mean Angle is being a - prick. You know? HIs characeter. Angle is facing Booker T tonight on iMPACT. You act like the show was 2 hours of nothing but weddings. It had matches you know. TNA at this point is damned if they do & damned if they don't. You want good matches so they book PPV Quailty matches on iMPACT & you people still bitch.

You want pure wrestling? Go watch the indies. I hate to break your heart but main stream promotions have to build up to their next show every week, build up to PPVs everymonth, & make you want to see them live. Unlike the indes where you can have great match after great match after great match on a 3 hour show because ou don't have time restrictions (ala TNA/WWE).

-- I appreciate professional wrestling and can watch 2-3hrs of professional wrestling, minus sports entertainment. Unfortunatly, the rest of America doesn't have that love for professional wrestling as I do, or you do, or anyone else who prefers professional wrestling over sports entertainment.
It's sad that mainstream needs that storyline-build up or else they'll get bored. I don't like it, but that's just the way it is. Live with it.

I think the average fan tunes in more for the storylines than they do the wrestling. And they clrealy outnumber us, so they're going to cater their product more to them.
But as I and many others have said before, TNA's biggest problem is that they don't want to believe that anything is wrong with TNA. Nothing will change until they accept this fact.

This is the TNA board, we aren't discussing WWE right now.
