Thanks to MMA.tv for the following... Despite UFC President Dana White's consistent publicly voiced disdain for EliteXC's use of Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson as a marketable MMA commodity, White did recently offer Slice an opportunity to join the world's leading MMA promotion.
With Slice out of a job after the recent collapse of EliteXC and parent company ProElite, White was asked about the possibility of bringing the former streetfighter into the UFC at the post-UFC 90 press conference.
"[Slice] can be on 'The Ultimate Fighter,'" White said.
I'm anxious to see what people here think of this one.

I dont think it is a bad thing. He can start from scratch as a MMA fighter and learn from some great trainers. I hope his ego is not too big to join on it though....

Keep hoping, bro. Unless Kimbo has a dramatic change of heart, I see him having far too big of an ego to ever go on TUF.

I'd like to see Kimbo on the Ultimate Fighter. I like him but I agree that getting more training could benefit him greatly. We'll just have to wait and see.

I agree on the ego part. Not to mention, he may have too much brains to do it any time soon. I'm sure he's going to try and whore himself out to Japan or whomever else is willing to drop big money on him for the attention he manages to draw.
Although I must admit, I'd gain huge amounts of respect for him if he were to jump at the offer to be on TUF. Of course that respect would likely fly out of the window if it becomes quickly apparent that he only wanted into the house so he could be overly controversial and purposely get kicked out for bad behavior.

Kimbo could still get signed elsewhere and make tons more money than he would in UFC.

Why would he do it? He's getting training with Bas, he just got caught.
TUF is all about introducing fighters to the masses & building several up, Kimbo has already achieved that. No way Kimbo turns down the big money offers that are going to come from DREAM, Affliction, K1 etc to fight on TUF for nothing. He still has a strong name value & Kimbo was smart enough to hype himself up, he'll be smart & get the big bucks.

Good points as well, I 'd like to see him show up in Affliction. I don't see that happening unless Affliction is in some desperate need of ratings. Hopefully they'll never be in that situation though, because as far as I'm concerned, Afflictions roster is just fine without that joke of a mixed martial artist.

Unless Kimbo has a dramatic change of heart, I see him having far too big of an ego to ever go on TUF. id have an ego too if I was making $500,000 a fight lol. but to me..it would be good if he did it..it would show that hes actually serious about being more than a circus act in MMA. Do I think he will do good in TUF if he goes...NOPE. hes not well rounded enough to last on that show.

Could you imagine the ratings??? I honestly do not expect to see Kimbo in the UFC. He is better off going to Japan and doing the freak show thing. I can see a fight between him and Bob Sapp happening over there or one with Butterbean. If he actually works on his game and gets better then wins some legit fights somewhere else then I could see him fighting in UFC but not on TUF

I'd only see it as an option if he had no where else to go

Even if he did make it on to TUF, I believe he'd still get his ass kicked. There's no way he'll make it in MMA. He should stick to fighting in people's backyards.
