Following his performance at UFC 91, many critics, well, criticized Anderson Silva's performance agaisnt Patrick Cote and now Dana White tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the champ isn't too pleased:
"He's flipping out. He wants to fight again, like, on Nov. 15. He's (upset) about his performance and he wants to fight again immediately."
This most likely won't happen but if it does, UFC 91 could get bigger. The problem would be with finding an opponent. Take it for what it is worth at this time.
although it may not happen it would be amazing if it did. I think Anderson fights the best when a fire is lit under his ass...and even with all his skill, I could see how critics saying his last fight was a lackluster performance would motivate him to put on a great performance. He didn't take any damage during the fight so I don't see why this would be a problem. Dana loves big fights, and surprises. So here is his chance to provide both at UFC91.

No way he fights at 91. I doubt he'll be on the NYE card either as that card is stacked already.
Either a quality main event For the Troops card UFN at start of December, or he'll be on the Superbowl weekend card as co-main event with GSP/BJ

I don't see it happening, but not because its on his end. He's already trained & in fight shape, its just finding someone for him to fight

This is why I like Anderson Silva. For all the heavy criticism, he could easily say " you guys, I'm the champ, I fight my fights." Or, he could just as easily feel deflated and go into his final five fights with no fire left inside him. Instead, he's honest and saying "Crap, I did not give them their money's worth. Lemme fight again." Anderson definitely fights best when there's a fit lit under his ass, and if he brings it hard I think we'll see a definite return to the Silva of old with his next fight. His willingness to jump right back into the thick of things is pretty amazing.

I know this is unrelated and completely off topic, but does anyone know if both UFC 91 and 92 will be PPV events?

I know this is unrelated and completely off topic, but does anyone know if both UFC 91 and 92 will be PPV events? I am pretty sure they will. UFC 91 is Brock v. Couture which is confirmed as a ppv, and UFC 92 has Wandi vs. Rampage, Evans vs. Griffin, and NOG vs. Mir and plus Matt Hamil and Dean Lister in fights lower on the card. You honestly think they would give that card away?!

I just read that there is talk of Liddell/Silva at the UK show in February.

I just read that there is talk of Liddell/Silva at the UK show in February. Oh man, what a fight that would be. I think Anderson would win, but this would unquestionably, be his toughest fight to date. However, since it is apparently driving Anderson Silva crazy right now trying to fight again, I just don't see him waiting around until February to fight again. He wants to fight now, so I say, why wait? Give him what he wants and let him ing fight. The Silva/Cote fight ended in a huge disappointment and Anderson doesn't want to disappoint. He wants to give the fans what they come to see and pay for. If he wants to fight at UFC #91 next month and if they can get someone for him to fight, then I say, let him do it. I know I'd love to see him fight again. Come on Dana, make it happen!! Let Anderson fight at UFC #91!!

Sounds good, but who the hell could they get to take him on so soon?

Liddell vs Silva would be awesome but has potential to be boring. Both guys are counter strikers and will be waiting for the other to mess up. But then again it could be another fight like Wandy vs. Liddell which was my favorite fight of Liddell.

I want to see Silva fight too. I want to see him fight some of the bigger names in 205 or one of three fights at 185.
1. Hendo, I think Hendo can, make that will, beat Silva in a rematch
2. Matt Lindland, get a Lindland in good shape and this could be a great fight, another one that Silva could lose.
3. Robbie Lawler. I do not think that Lawler would win but at least you know that someone is getting knocked out.

I do not think that Lawler would win but at least you know that someone is getting knocked out. I honestly don't see any of the 3 beating Silva. Henderson looked extremely over matched in their first fight, Silva is too good to take away from Lindland's strength and keep it standing, and Lawler's strength is his stand up and trying to press action. I just don't think Lawler is that great. I could see a good fight between him and maybe Cote, but not an elite MW. This would be an incredibly fun fight. I think it'd be a FOTY candidate to be honest. I would also like to see Anderson Silva vs Gegard Mousasi and Paulo Filho. If Filho could take him to the ground, Silva could be in big trouble. I think it might be a fight we see sooner than later.

Filho and Silva train together though, don't they? That would be a great fight though.
Cung Le vs. Silva would just be poetry in motion. The way they both strike is phenomenal..

Yeah, they both train at Black House, but it's still a fight I'd like to see. Just tell Filho if he wins he gets a little nose candy and he'll be in.
