A former NWA Champion in the record books, i know he won the title at one PPV and at the next Impact he had the new TNA Champion title because TNA quit ties with the NWA.
I really would like to know about this.

No, Bob stripped Cage and Dudley's of their NWA titles the day of or the day before the event, therefore, Cage was NOT the NWA World Champion, and did NOT lose it to Angle

No. He's considered the first TNA Champion.
