Hey guys, Not sure if im supposed to combine all my posts into one but the old one(s) is kinda pic heavy. I hope these can help inspire some ideas! All of my customs are sprayed with Terstors Dull Coat spay as a sealant, to give the figure a more realistic, and high end look as opposed to the plasticy sheen of the Jakks plastic. Also all of the designs are hand designed by me in Illustrator, as I’m a graphic designer by profession. I would always be happy to send any of them to whomever! Just ask! For Jericho I took the new CS21 head and arms and put in on a mix of Kenny Dykstra and Honkey Tonk man thighs. The tights are painted by hand and the lion head is designed in adobe illustrator.   For Bob Backlund I took the classic Backlund head, reworked the eyebrows, William regal arms, Ric Flair hands and a towel from a rocky figure. Didn’t want to risk shaving down his ripped thighs.   For JBL I repainted his hair, swapped out RA William Regal arms and shaved down his thighs to try and get his body more accurate. I’m surprisingly really happy with it; it’s a small fix but way better. I also like this head a lot better than the dopy one even though it has a great likeness.   |

seriously though, your work is the kind of work i was to study.
i am in love with the Chris Jericho. the headscan is PERFECT for that era so i am glad jakks did a good job with that. the attire looks spot on! just like the Best of WCW version of that figure.
Mr. Backlund looks great as well and JBL is just right behind it.

Jericho is just Kick ass!! Really love the tights design. JBL looks very good, resembles his current look very nicely!

Like i said in the other thread, simply awesome. Jericho's tights are very good, the new RA kneepads look pretty good on him. Backlund looks straight foward but it's still great and the JBL fix-up looks superb.

I love that Jericho, that is my favorite era and attire for him and I've always wondered why we never saw any figures from that era. Jakks finallly produced the head to make it happen, great job.
Backlund looks great as well, the hand choices for him really help show his attitude.
JBL looks very good and I like the shaved down thighs, I wish Jakks has a mold like that that was less muscular, most guys don't have Giant Ripped Thighs.

Does JBL have a trunk design? All are fantastic customs. Look as official as anything Ive ever seen JAKKS do.

That Jericho is simply amazing. Unbelievable quality and attention to detail. I've always wanted a DA Chris Jericho with the 1,004 on the tights. Do you think you can make one for me? How much would it be keeping it purely simple with no carding and what not. Just a DA Chris Jericho with the 1,004 on the tights that can be played with as well as displayed. Get back to me with a PM, I'm seriously considering paying for a custom DA Jericho.
