For awhile now there was always talk about Russo working for Vince but it's always been just that. However last week after a JAPW show in my area I met up with Teddy Hart at a diner and we just bull ****ted about wrestling. We got on the subject of TNA and I mentioned how Russo is killing and his response was "Russo works for Vince". Now we all know by now Teddy has been known to say some observe things but can it be true? Do you think Russo really does work for Vince?

I'll just say no self-respecting man would book a 'rat on a pole' match with the best intentions.

Like I said in the last thread about this, I am not one for conspiracy theories, but this actually sounds believable.

Nope. I like Russo & he's got a great mind for the business. Does he always ahve great ideas? No, but noone else does either. Sometimes your ideas float or it's gonna sink like shit.

I really hope not. but sometimes you gotta wonder. they use WWE names all the time on TNA, and as stupid as it may sound, they are frequently using the word IMPACT on all of their shows, when there;s clearly more synonyms for the word. I still think Jerry Jarret and Vince worked out a deal...but who knows? I'm probably just reaching. I'm hoping what tna does is on their own accord

Same thing was said of his WCW run, Ruso is a good ideas man but has said before he needs someone like he had with vince during his successful run to say no to the sillier ideas and help make logical storylines out of his better ideas. Without someone there working besides him we've seen the end result as his ego tends to run wild

You really think Vince Russo has a great mind for the business? Name five examples. Consider this, Russo always took credit for the Attitude Era. However, when he went to WCW he was not able to make ONE good angle, whereas the WWF went on without him without missing a beat. Now he's doing the same old crap in TNA. Vince Russo is overrated and he just got lucky that people associated him with the Attitude Era. He has no reason to be anywhere near professional wrestling.
