12:07 a.m. -- And that's all she wrote. An exchange of knees and Couture is on his heels. A straight right behind Couture's left ear sees the champ go down. It was a good shot. Perfect place to disrupt the electricity necessary to keep people standing. Short flurry from Lesnar. Yamasaki gives the champ a shot, but no more. At 3:07 of Round 2, Brock Lesnar is one of two UFC heavyweight champions, joining interim champ Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

I'm pulling for Nogueira to beat Mir so we can see Lesnar vs. Nogueira.

I'm pulling for Nogueira to beat Mir so we can see Lesnar vs. Nogueira. Ah yes, me too. I'm glad Brock won this one, I'm a fan of Couture but I pulled for Brock in this one. Hopefully Couture fights again.

I wasn't pulling for Lesnar, but that was a good hit.

It was an easy prediction to make, but with Randy you could never count him out. But he couldn't pull out the upset tonight. Thankfully, I have Nogueira submitting Brock to look forward to after he beats Mir to become the undisputed champion.

I knew Brock would handle him and win, just not that quick.

I'm really happy that Lesnar won. I got a lot more into UFC as a whole once he went there. He looked like a beast out there, although it seemed like he was getting fatigued a lot more easily. The heat for this match was unreal as well.

I hope this also becomes a win for pro wrestling (the industry) and hopefully Brock as champ would silence doubters.
