MMAMANIA “I still think about [the loss to BJ Penn]. I have to. It’s what keep me motivated and makes me train harder. If we don’t remember our past, we can’t go forward. I have a Hawaiian wife man. She brings it up every time we argue…. I’m fighting to be a champion. I want that belt; there is no other reason. I’ve fought for free and I’ll probably fight for free before I die again, but I’m going to bring it.” Joe Stevenson will look to re-establish his status as the number one lightweight title contender when he takes on Kenny Florian at UFC 91: “Couture vs. Lesnar” in the co-featured bout of the evening on November 15. “Daddy” lost his bid to become the 155-pound world champion when he and BJ Penn collided earlier this year at UFC 80: “Rapid Fire.” Stevenson sustained a gruesome cut in the bout, which eventually ended in the second round thanks to a rear naked choke from “The Prodigy.” ===================== His wife sounds like a bitch.

I like Joe "Daddy". I think he's a hell of a fighter and I hope he defeats Ken-Flo. I actually had money riding on him in the Penn fight but he came up short. I thought he had it in him to pull out the upset victory, but he was denied.
If given the chance to fight B.J. again, I hope he wins the next time around.

BJ Penn just blatantly outclasses Joe Stevenson.

I actually like joe daddy more after this statement..
"I’ve fought for free and I’ll probably fight for free before I die again"
it just shows me his passion for MMA. But I also have become a fan of Kenny Florian after his wins over Din Thomas and Roger Huerta. I think Ken-Flo will take this one. It will not be a quick fight though, I see this one going the distance. Kenny Florian better get a title shot after this...is there anyone in the LW division in the UFC with a win streak as long as his over formidable opponents..?

i dislike Joe Stevenson since his "I could of finished luke, but I came in with an injury" speech after defeating Luke Cummo.
But even then, I'm honest enough to admit, Ken-Flo is up for a HUGE CHALLENGE with Stevenson. He's no slouch.

I have nothing against joe daddy, but just like Penn did I expect him to be outclassed by Ken-Flo

I like Stevenson as a fighter. However BJ is just on a totally different level. Plus BJ is one of my teo all time favorites. And on a side note, I don't think Joe will beat Florian.

I'm not a big fan of Stevenson, but I don't have anything against him. I'd be pissed at my wife if she were comparing me to another man though. Thats just wrong.

I'm sure tapping to Florian really made his wife happy.

Apparently it didn't motivate him enough...Seeing as he lost the EXACT same way to Ken-Flo as he did to Penn. Man, that's got to be eating away at him right now..
