Mattel will most likely still release WWE figures on time, as I don't see there being a connection between the two things.

This doesn't look good if they are laying off people.

Didn't they get a HUGE lawsuit on the Bratz line ? Thats like free money to a point, Little Tike MGA should be laying off , not Mattel. I know a bunch of people that need DCUC and can never find them so how about making more of those ? Where is the money going ?

I know a bunch of people that need DCUC and can never find them so how about making more of those ? Where is the money going ? The lawsuit pretty much killed the Bratz line which was killing the Barbie line slowly. I don't see many young girls going back to the line that killed their Bratz dolls. MGA will most likely soon be going out of business. And yes Mattel should be laying off people. Besides DC comics what other figure license do they have? The 2002 He-Man line died so horribly the Classics line is an on-line exclusive. As a toy company Mattel is un-impressive.

I have a bad feeling about Mattel and WWE People have been saying that since it was announced.

Toy Biz made them. Out side of the JLA, DCU and Batman toys Mattel hasn't really made any action figures this decade besides the He-Man line.

It's becoming more and more apparent that they's pressure for change, with Jakks nonchalant attitude to the WWE line recently.

Over the last couple of days on my local News boadcast that Mattel is or has left off more than half of there company sorry if this is old news but thought I would let you guys know of the situation.Do you think Mattel will go thourgh with the WWE line or will it stay with Jakks. It would be nice if Jakks did both WWE and TNA but I think thats way to much to handle. What do you guys think. Well, if most remember, Jakks released WWE and ROCKY figures at the same time, so I don't think TNA would be a problem either. However they might still be doing the gladiators thing...
