Georgia is going to a run off.
So, we could get to 60.

I often wonder how much stuff we read as legitimate information is truly falsified, it's kind of scary to think about.
Anyways, what's the word on the Franken/Coleman senate seat? Does anybody know?

Recount and Franken is only down by 200 some votes.
And who knows if Coleman will even stay in the Senate should he win.

Why wouldn't he stay if he wins?

Law suits, possible Senate and FBI investigations.

You know I wonder if Franken wouldn't have just kicked his ass and none of this would be an issue if the media didn't always refer to him as "Comedian" Al Franken.

I wish Franken would go away. Far, far away.

I wish Franken would go away. Far, far away. If we can get rid of Saxby, I'll gladly accept a Coleman win.

To be honest, I don't like Saxby at all, and I voted for the independant candidate. I would be happy to make that trade. Al Franken is a nutjob.

I'd be fine with 59 seats, because we can have Arlen Specter vote with us to give us 60.

And the same state that elected "Ahhnuld" just banned Gay marrage....
Just saying.

Palin is still attacking Obama. On CNN, still attacking on Ayers. At the Governor's meeting, she talked about how she can't vote present as Governor. She wants that Alaskan senate seat. No doubt about it. I'm confused. How does Palin get the Senate seat if Stevens loses?

She's a maverick.
Thats how.

According to Wikipedia, Stevens trails by approximately 1000 votes. If he wins, he's in the Senate for another 6 years or until he goes to jail whichever comes first. If he goes to jail, Palin has to appoint his successor (or at least that's the way it works in most states). I don't think she can appoint herself unless I'm very mistaken.

Two Obama aides have said that Hillary is high on the list for Secretary of State.
