Highly doubt that. Man Utd are in for a new player every day. A player gets an England call-up, playing well atm, Man Utd are weakest up front... story writes itself. I very much doubt they'd want Bothroyd but its flattering to see them taking a look. Problem is now is that he is almost certain to leave soon, even if we go up. |

As for Jarvis not getting in, they don't need anyone in that position so they don't need to call him up. Bothroyd has only been called up because there's no other options, so he's there to make up numbers for now I would expect. Also Jarvis may be playing the Prem now, but has only been doing so for a season. |

It's impossible to please some English people. Everyone was pissed when Capello ed up in South Africa, saying his squad was crap- he shuffles it up a bit (fair enough, Smalling is a pathetic choice) and people are still moaning. |

I'm actually a toon fan, and I suppose you're right. I think it's just cos crouch was left out for heskey in the wc which makes me feel sorry for him, and he has a great record anyway. |

I don't really care for England being Welsh haha but was watching for Bothroyd, very pleased and proud of him for playing tonight. Can't wait to go to the Forest game now Saturday at home and see the reception he gets. Thought Jay did well considering he was coming into a game up front on his own where France were 2-0 up. I think if Carroll/Crouch had started with Jay it might have worked because he looked very lively and was in some great positions.
But yeah, great stuff.
