He still had a better World Cup than 'World Class' Wayne Rooney

Going to my first football match next Wednesday, Wales vs. Australia at Cardiff City Stadium. Looking forward to it. I asked my mates if they wanted to go since they showed intrest when I mentioned going to football games last season but they said they didn't want to get stabbed. Seriously? So I'm going with my Dad instead. He's not a football fan really but I'm sure he'll enjoy it.

I'd like to see Kyle Walker at RB, he's impressed me in the last year. Capello would probably use Johnson or Wilshire on the right, agree with the rest of the team though.
I'd like to see a Walker-Jagielka-Cahill-Baines back line used in some game in the future.

only reason I never added Wilshire to my line up was im not 100% sure if he was fit. But yeah Johnson would be a better choice than Milner.
that sounds like a solid back 4 and the likes of Baines and Cahill are great replacements for when the likes of Terry, cole etc stop playing for England.

Bent has a shoulder injury apparently. Also John Toshack has become manager of Macedonia

Don't England play 4-3-3 now, they could use that. The only strange pick is Carrick. I can understand Barry being in there for back up on Parker but why Carrick. I'm sure theres better and younger players Capello can choose.

Went to Wales vs. Australia at Cardiff City Stadium and overall I enjoyed it all. First half was dull, we had loads of possession but did nothing. Second half was better esp after the second went in. Surprised Bale played the full 90 but maybe they expected the Spurs game to be called off. Bale was easily out best player, we looked sloppy at the back and did nothing with possession. Maybe its obvious favoritism but I don't know why Wales don't build their team round Bale when he plays. He was always looking to get forward and just blitz past the defenders. For alot of the game though he was left out on the wing calling for the ball but not getting it. But like I said I enjoyed it and can see myself going again.

Went to both the Scotland U21 game against Norway and Scotland vs Danemark. The U21's played really well and won 3-0 so was pleased with that. The Scotland game was one of the best performance in a long time. Adam's goal was great. Snodgrass, Caldwell and Wilson played really well. It also must be a matter of time that Bannan scores for Scotland.

Suprised to hear that Wales won thier match, although watching the highlights it seemed quite lucky we didn't concede again in the second half. Seems like they used Bale more which is what they should be doing. With Bellamy unavaiable for the England game I hope they use Bale as much as possible but the Eng players should pick up on that and just mark him.

Wales winning, massive shock. I saw 3-0 at 11-1 just before I started watching, was gonna put a tenner on it but my mate talked me out of it We looked quietly impressive, although I maked no assumptions until we beat a top team. Genuinely can't remember the last time we beat a big intl team (France, Holland, Brazil, someone like that).
