Nothing much to say right now, DTP. I'm glad with the starting time, because post-SummerSlam 2003 was really good. All I can say is please, please, please keep the belt on Kurt Angle and push all the cruiserweights. Sign some sweet cruiserweights too, like guys from Japan. Can't wait for the first show.

Like STL said, not much to comment on at the moment. Aside from the fact hat 2003/4 was a good year in my opinion. I hope this goes well, good luck.

They should do a current-day SummerSlam poster with Maryse instead of Sable. I'm looking forward to this, DTP. You're a great booker.

Monday 1st September 2003The usual opening video package for RAW opens up the show as it shows many clips of previous happenings on RAW in between a few clips of two girls making out and many superstars posing under a blue, red and black light. This all happens to 'Move to the Music' by Union Underground. The RAW logo ends it as we're taken to the live arena where pyro is going off. Announcers, Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler hype up the upcoming event scheduled to feature Evolution, Goldberg, Shawn Michaels and many others.Evolution's theme hits the arena loudly as the crowd begin to boo them. Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Triple H all get into the ring and brag about how much Evolution is ruling the RAW brand nowadays. Flair cuts a promo about their history and how Triple H had it hard fighting on his own as World Heavyweight Champion in 2002. Flair gets a loup pop, but then again, it is for all of his 'woooooos'. Randy Orton then got on the microphone, cutting a promo about all of the haters who are jealous of them, such as the Dudley Boyz (Who did injure both Orton and Batista i February), Shawn Michaels and their newest problem, Bill Goldberg. Triple H took the microphone from there in which he cut a promo about Goldberg saying that this isn't WCW because superstars like himself in the WWE killed it off. That's when Goldberg came out onto the stage, gathering an outrageous reaction. He calls out Triple H to fight him man-to-man with zero tolerence interference. Triple H grins but before he manages to say something, Orton tells Goldberg that he has to go through him to get to Triple H. Goldberg accepts, giving us tonight's big main event. [88%] Match #1: D-Von Dudley defeated Sylvain Grenier D-Von tried desperately to make this a good match, a fair one at least. However, Sylvain was very green here tonight on RAW. He was off of his game, he was sloppy, he oversold. An example of an oversell from Sylvain was that D-Von's first punch sent Grenier almost over the barricade, despite the match being in the ring. At least the announcers, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross enjoyed it and found it quite humorous. Yes this was a bad match, but it was still enjoyable for the fans as they were pretty loud for the superstars in Lafayette, North Carolina. Dudley and Grenier slugged it out as well, mainly which only made matters worse for the Dudleys as Grenier sold every move connected ridiculously incorrect. There was outside interference from Rob Conway and Rene Dupree on La Resistance's part, who seemed very confused as to why Grenier was putting on a rubbish display in the ring. D-Von finally put this match to rest after Spike and Bubba Ray Dudley took out Conway and Dupree as D-Von hit the Saving Grace at the seven minute mark. [70%] We cut to the backstage area from there where Jonathan Coachman was standing by with Rob Van Dam in which the cocky interviewer asked Van Dam countless irrelevent questions about whether RVD was happy about how Kane kicked his ass at SummerSlam. RVD replied by asking Coachman whether he liked getting his ass kicked by Stone Cold Steve Austin at SummerSlam. Coach flees as RVD kicks the air at a high-angle, right near the level to Coach's head. Rob Van Dam cuts a promo hyping up his match tonight against Christian saying that when he beats him in singles action, he will beat him for the Intercontinental Championship. [81%] Match #2: Rodney Mack defeated The Hurricane This was an extremely suprising match. Unlike what many anticipated this to be, this was far from being a squash match or a form of the 'White Boy Challenge'. Mack was accompanied only by Theodore Long, who is obviously a modern day Slick minus religion. Mack did ground Hurricane at numerous points in this match, in fact, this seemed like an improved version of the opening match between Sylvain Grenier and D-Von Dudley. These two seemed to have quite the chemistry and they flaunted it and pulled off this good match in the ring. And who says the lower mid-card ranks are untalented. The audience were a bit of an issue as they saw this match as a filler, not really much of a reaction, unfortunately. Hurricane had offense at the beginning of the match before he was given a big back body drop only to get flipped over to the outside floor. Mack then distracted the referee as Long nailed Hurricane with his shoe. Yes, his shoe. Mack worked on the back of Hurricane before the superhero had some little momentum only to run into the Blackout at the six minute mark. [75%] "What Does Everybody Want?", we hear the theme of Al Snow play into the arena as a group of smarks reply to the aforementioned question by shouting "Head". Snow walks out to the ring very confidently as he seems to be all business. Snow cuts a decent promo on the microphone in which he talks about how he is the color commentator over on the RAW brand. Snow introduces his broadcast partner, Jonathan Coachman in which both men complain about their skill over the microphone. Coach directs both Heat announcers' attention to the RAW announce table as Coach cockily throws JR's resistol hat at him and Snow steals Lawler's crown, placing it on his head. Jerry Lawler gets to his feet and gets up in Snow's face, Lawler calling out Snow. Al says that if King wants a match, he can meet him in the ring at Unforgiven, the position of the RAW announce table at stake. Coach goes to jump King from behind only for Lawler to grab him and set up for a Piledriver right on the outside but Snow breaks it up. Al clocks Lawler with his crown before Al and Coach dump the announce table on its side, Lawler trapped underneath. Al joins JR at the announce position as we cut to a commercial. [75%] Match #3: Rob Van Dam defeated Christian in a non-title match by disqualification. This was the match of the night in my mind. These two brawled, these two wrestled, and these two flew. This match was an outstanding show of ability between both men, there being not one little mess-up whatsoever. This was an amazing match as Al Snow replaced Jerry Lawler at the announce table, Snow routing for Christian as JR argued with him. This match was inside and outside of the ring, too. The crowd loved it, which is obviously always a good thing. Christian mat-wrestled Rob Van Dam quite a lot in this one, but RVD came back after a few minutes of the Intercontinental Champion grappling him. Good time to gain offense for RVD too, because it looked like he was preparing to get ready working away and wearing out the shoulder of Van Dam. RVD came back with several moves, his kicks made this match difficult for Christian to survive in, also. Chris Jericho then appeared, slowly walking down the ramp, ready to battle. RVD then went for the Five-Star Frog Splash but Jericho shoved him off the top rope in front of the official, giving RVD the win at the ten minute mark. Following the match, Jericho and Christian began to pound away at Rob Van Dam before Shawn Michaels at long last ran down the rampway for the save. [94%] We then cut to the backstage area where Shawn Michaels and Rob Van Dam are walking down a corridor. RVD, breathlessly asks Shawn why he helped him back there. Shawn says that he never likes to see a talented performer get jumped by two idiots. Shawn says he did what he did because he wanted to take the Intercontinental Championship away from Christian. Michaels walks away as RVD has a confused look on his face, JR mentioning how awkward it is since RVD and HBK both want the Intercontinental Championship. [80%] "Here Comes the Money", we hear the jazzy theme of Shane McMahon play into the arena loudly causing the crowd to begin cheering him on loudly. Shane does some of his dancing but doesn't seem so hyper, not as energetic as usual. Shane gets on the microphone in which he says that there's been a lot of rumors as of late of everybody wondering what happened to Kane after falling into the lit dumpster last week courtesy of Shane O' Mac. Shane says that he wants to finally end rumors, calling out Kane countless times. Shane looks baffled as he gets ready to leave, but before he manages to reach the stage, pyrotechnics block him off. Shane is shocked but grins maliciously. The lights go out and the outline of Kane's body appears, Kane's voice echoing throughout the arena saying that he will not let Shane just get away now. Kane says that he is prepared to end this...soon. Soon? Indeed. We cut to a commercial break. [88%] We cut to the backstage area to see Ric Flair talking to Triple H about his match tonight. He briefly mentions Maven as being that annoying little rat that tried beating Triple H on Sunday Night Heat back in the summer. Triple H motivates Flair as Flair begins strutting to the ring. [93%] Match #4: Ric Flair defeated MavenThis was simply a filler match, used to pad up the main event from being overshadowed, which it would of been if Rob Van Dam vs. Christian had been positioned here. This was actually a good match as Flair went through his usual routine of working away at the legs of Maven, though Maven having a lot of offense in there. Maven hit some pretty offensive moves on the 'Nature Boy', Maven almost getting the three count many times. This match seemed like it was Ronny Garvin vs. Ric Flair again at one point, Maven almost getting a three count after a dive from the top rope into a sunset flip. Flair however, took advantage as Maven hurt his knee when landing and soon after, the Figure Four Leglock was applied. Maven survived for countless minutes, but eventually, this match was too much for Maven to surpass, Flair winning at the six minute mark. [72%]Match #5: Bill Goldberg defeated Randy OrtonThis was a blockbuster of a main event, these two men just simply pounded each other silly no matter what, and the crowd were absolutely hyped and pumped up for this fantastic main event, Goldberg was as usual, very stiff but this has to be one of Goldberg's better matches, in the WWE at least. And that's got to contend with that match with Chris Jericho after all. The audience cared for it. The match was also perfectly timed and spaced-out, the first bell sounding with half-an-hour before the show was to end. Goldberg had the first gust of momentum as he pretty much cleared house, though that made Randy Orton look a little bit like a jobber. However, Ric Flair came back down to ringside as did Triple H, their existence causing Goldberg to lose grasp as Orton went to work on the ankle of Goldberg. Orton used his rest holds as usual as Orton wanted Goldberg out of the equation altogether. Goldberg continuously fought back, however as Bill got prepared for the Spear on three seperate occasions, only for Triple H to jump on the apron or something similar to that. However, eventually, Orton's attempt at the RKO failed as he bounced off the ropes and into the Spear. Goldberg hit the Jackhammer and it was over at the fourteen minute mark. Ric Flair tried running in post-match only to get a Spear for himself as Triple H also attempted a run-in. Goldberg caught out HHH as he Speared the air, Triple H crawling back into the corner, both men staring each other down as we go off the air. [89%]

Your first show really had the feel of the era. D-Von going over Sylvain was a realistic match to kick the show off. Rodney Mack versus The Hurricane would have appeared to be a filler, but from what you said it was a decent match. Nice match between RVD and Christian and the ending was cool. Jericho interfering was realistic and the win via DQ was good. Nice backstage segment between RVD and HBK. Good Kane/Shane promo. Glad Ric Flair defeated Maven as I could never stand Maven. Plus, he isn't a mark on Flair anyway. Goldberg beating Randy Orton was a realistic Main Event, I was expecting the HHH interference, lol. Nice staredown to end the show. Overall, it was a great show to start off with and I look forward to reading more as you go into Unforgiven.

I was shocked to see that Rodey Mack vs. The Hurricane wasn't a squash or a White Boy Challenge, since that's what I expected it to be. Nonetheless, I'm glad Mack went over. RVD vs. Christian? Fantastic. I love both of them, so I'm sure their match was fantastic. RVD/HBK vs. Jericho/Christian? Do it. The show as a whole felt like something that would have been booked during this time. Good job, mate.

Realistic opening segment with Evolution. I like how Mack struggled a little bit. I hope you give him a big push, and don't stop it like WWE abrputly did. HBK going for the IC title? Interesting, but I don't think he should get the belt. RVD-Christian did sound like a great match though. Flair-Maven wasn't much, like you said. Goldberg-Orton was a good main event, and Berg winning made sense. I think that Goldberg should take the belt at Unforgiven and have a good title reign, unlike what WWE gave him. Otherwise it was a well executed, realistic show. KEep it up.

Pretty realistic show for the first RAW. I'm hoping you don't give Goldberg the title though. I'm really hoping you are going somewhere with RVD beating Christian, I think they could have a pretty good fued. Put the World title on Jericho?
