According to the latest issue of Power Slam, TNA has plans for Matt Morgan to eventually turn heel on Abyss. Morgan will then be repackaged with a narcissist gimmick.
According to a news post on the TNA website, TNA has plans to run video packages on British wrestler Nick Aldis within the next few weeks.
I'm not sure how reliable TNAWrestlingNews is but Morgan as heel would probably help him in the long run with his character.

Ugh, Morgan is a waste... plain and simple. He's a big man and thats it, theres nothing special in the guy. Which is why the WWE released him, twice if i'm not mistaken.
It'll be "cool" the night he turns heel, but after a week or two... nobody is going to care. he just doesn't have that "it" factor.

The only good thing to come out of this potentially is if Abyss gets any kind of remote singles push again. But I'm sure TNA will put Morgan over Abyss. And then a few weeks later Morgan can go back to being in Kip James tag matches. |

Weren't there plans to sign Mark Jindrak and pair him with Morgan? That's the only way I could ever get behind the guy... he isn't interesting enough to be a successful singles wrestler. Nobody would ever pay to see the guy main event, though I'm sure TNA will put him there anyway.
Abyss needs to lose the white jumpsuit and turn into a complete badass again... all the idiocy he's been involved in was fine for a while but if TNA is going to grow it's gonna have to take advantage of every roster member's strengths. Abyss's strengths do not file under comedy...

Morgan has a lot to offer, they really have to let him show it. And he has to tone down his attitude a little bit as basically screaming during each promo doesn't always get people to listen.
